Today I came to the park with my kids and their friends, it was a total of 26 of us. 3 adults and all the kids. We noticed a sign that said free food to the public and we've been playing on the playground, when we went to ask if we can get food we were denied and the girl who was sitting outside with the food said no because we're a camp. We came as a group today, if the food isn't free to the public there shouldn't be a sign saying that and the girl (staff) with the glasses and gray shirt and the male staff with the blue shirt could've been more nice about it or maybe had said they didn't have enough. They also came walking towards us at the playground as if it was a problem that we were here. The staff definitely need better training at communication. We have kids with us from low income homes and didn't appreciate how they refused us.

This place is the place to go if you are like me and have a lot of girls in the family who love Volleyball. Hubs has coached numerous seasons. It's not the closest park to us, and I know that there are some new parks that are now also doing Volleyball too. But it is pretty established here and there is great parent involvement. They also have great Basketball teams. Soccer, dance, and summer camps. They are always trying to do things for the kids here and the parents and kids who come here are regulars. They come here year after year and there is a good community. They have a nice lil playground that my daughter loves. They also host carnivals here on occasions. If you live nearby or if you have girls who want to play Volleyball, then come here!

My childhood park, loved it here and the inside with the basketball court for sure, it seems it's still the same?

Idiot staffs, especially the guy in charge of this facility and stupid front desk lady. Some of them are nice, that's why I gave 3 stars.

Jane & Bert Boeckmann Park

A wonderful spot to go play some basketball at, although there is only one court so it can get…read morepacked and full at certain times. I love the scenic outlook of the park and feel like I get really nice bouts of fresh air here. Sometimes the park entrance gates are closed, which is weird, but it may be due to the weathers so keep that in mind as it's more of a private community park. The set-up of the park is great and the parking is super large. There is a large stage and I just know that this park has big prospects in mind for the future!!! Currently, it's not too packed and at the same time not too empty so we'll see how it goes in the future!!! Bathrooms are clean for a park and am satisfied with the amenities.

This park is nestled atop a nice hillside overlooking the neighborhoods down below in Porter Ranch…read more There was plenty of parking and the park itself gave us a great spot to take in bouts of fresh air. We came here with our rackets to play some pickleball and for the first hour it was just enough with the 4 courts. After past the hour mark, it started getting more full and groups were waiting outside the court. Regardless, my boyfriend and I were super happy to have finally checked out this new park after hearing about it from my roommates. Also want to note that the spot has a large stage and ampitheatre-like set-up and we would love to see if there are any community events that pop up here. The sign of the park also just says Porter Ranch Community Park even though it says differently online. Hopefully the name confusion can be fixed. Anyways, this is definitely a wonderful addition for the community and I hope it stays how it is with the maintenance and care! - kid-friendly apparatus area - one basketball court - 4 pickleball courts (looks too small for tennis) - clean bathrooms
