Loved their baseball field. No open places elsewhere. My baseball team went to practice there.

I enjoyed this park. There is a playground and some equipment where you can practice your pull ups and things like that. There's a huge area with benches and almost to hike/explore where a river used to be. read more

On Labor Day the park space was pretty deserted save for one family at a picnic table, so I was able to roam freely with camera. I discovered a very young couple sitting under a tree, they looked like early teenagers. I overheard their conversation as I walked past them, trying to recall how it was to be so young and in love. They were talking about.....their parents! Haha, my memories came back to me. We talked about our parents. We compared things our moms did, just like these two kids were doing. I love this park, never crowded ever as far as I've visited and wonderful during the holidays where parks are usual hotspots for families. It's a very quiet area away from main street and you can see a bit of wildlife surprises such as bunnies, groundhogs, prairie dogs, coyotes, many monarchs and well decorated birds. Sports area: the tennis courts are lighted and very well maintained and the bathrooms are clean with vending machines for cold drinks. Basketball area and fitness area included and clean as well. As far as I have seen there are two baseball diamonds and huge areas for families to picnic or sit and view nature with hillside view under beautiful elms and willows. It's a wonderful place for young lovers, families, children, athletes, and nature appreciators. read more

Wanted to hit a few tennis balls around, and Yelp came through with Knapp Ranch Park. There are 3 full tennis courts, and a few basketball courts. Not one person at the tennis courts at 7pm on a summer weeknight. There were some basketball games going on, but I didn't want to show up the local talent with my tomahawk dunks and Steph Curry handles. Knapp Ranch Park is the best. My friends and I try to stay active during the weekends as we all work full-time and can't really find the time to do much physical activity during the week. So every Saturday or Sunday we schlep our equipment down to Knapp Ranch Park and play some games. We started off with Tennis on their immaculately maintained tennis courts of which there are four (so there is often a bit of a wait) but they're very well lit and super clean. We then moved on to basketball, but then we realized we were white and had issues because we were really quite terrible at the game. Now we're on a baseball kick. Although there's four fields, only one of them is really big enough to enjoy a proper day of hitting and shagging balls. The bottom two are for T-Ball so those are out of the question, The top one is for Softball, so it's slightly better, but we lose too many of our baseballs as it feels like a homerun derby since we can all hit over 200 feet. The middle field is in the Goldilocks zone. Just big enough that it's hard to hit a home run, and super well maintained. This field is an area of contention because it's difficult to use without people waiting around for you to leave so they can start their game. I wish they had one more field, but since the grounds are so well maintained, I can't really complain. read more

I live nearby so I am here at least once a week. Great park! It has two basketball courts, tennis courts, a baseball field and a jungle gym for little kids. The entire park is VERY clean. I only come here to play basketball. There's full court pick up games almost every day in the afternoon and the players are pretty decent. read more

Perfect stop for bringing lunch and getting away from the valley for a short time. This park is huge for the area and tucked away but easily accessible to either levels. Love this place. Two parking lots, upper and lower. Lower lot offers access to tennis and basketball courts, a small baseball field, some gymnastic equipment (rings, parallel and pull-up bars) and playground equipment in sand. Upper lot has a larger baseball field. There is another baseball field even further up the hill, most easily accessed from the street uphill. Plenty of grass and shade, lots of people with dogs often off leashes, drinking fountains, kids playing league baseball usually after 4 or 5 pm on weekdays. My main reason to come here... SKATE. The lower section has plenty of paved flat ground and waxed curbs of varying heights. The upper/middle section has an amazing half-pipe (it's really just a wash for water run-off) that has a slight downhill slope. Plenty of distance for a good run. No vert and and transitions are angled and hairy, not smooth. Follow the wash even higher up and you'll find variations of the same. Fun stuff. read more

There are three things I use the park for. The first thing is basketball; the court here is always clear when I come except on occasions when there is a team practicing. The second thing is working out on the rings and bars, which is always open and not in use. The third thing is the open space on the grass for working out also, and of course, it is always open. The water in the water fountain is actually decent which surprises me also. Overall, this is on my top park list...if only it was not so far from my home. read more

Good park overall. Pretty much any amenity you could ever want. Tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball fields, playgrounds, rings, and a wash that is awesome for downhill skateboarding. Only problem, lots of things need reservations to use. Also, this is the perfect place for a frisbee golf course, but no such luck on holes. read more

Great place for kids sports! My kids had art class, carate, basketball and soccer 2 bs year... We love it and the prices are the lowest that you can get, all other places very expensive and if you gave more than 1 child's it is not easy. Rich is amazing!!! read more

Kool (yes i used the K in honor of this park even though this one is not silent)!!! Came with the family and flew our christmas present remote controlled helicopters. Wind was a few knots so it wasn't very effective but it was fun. We flew it on the softball fields which are not groomed and have many pot holes(hence the star reduction). There were people on the many tennis an basketball courts. A great place to be outside. read more

Briefly put it is nice here in the evenings. There are usually organized sports leagues and the crowd is the suburban type - parents and kids. There's a lot of space and this is a large park with lots of grass. A wash which can be used for a snake run to skate in. There's a makeshift half pipe in the back of the wash/snake pipe / park; its chill. read more

Great for dogs! One of the best dog parks I have found. Nice friendly people as well. I would give it a 5 but it has a lot of gopher holes which can cause injury to you or your pet. read more

I use the tennis courts only because of limited choices. They courts are fine. Problem is in the evenings people playing basketball regularly smoke cigarettes and pot on the playground area. Also, 2 tennis court players were assaulted by 2 underage teenagers and when they were caught, cops did nothing because of their underage. read more
