On a recent visit to the Techumseh Road East store, I returned an unopened item, only to have the associate tear open the box, damaging the packaging. They were quite rude and responded sharply to any questions I asked. I have noticed that this location employs several older associates who do not seem focused on customer service. On another occasion at the same store, I attempted to return a product that was just one day past the policy deadline. The associate initially refused to process the return until another staff member instructed them to proceed. Additionally, warranties are not supported at CT; instead, customers are directed to contact the seller when issues arise. Having spent my career in high-level customer service, I see a significant disconnect between management, store staff, and overall operations at CT stores.

They expect me to check the receipts before I pay for them and then correct the cashier while there are people waiting in line behind me. They should have to give the customer the product for free if they can't get the automated process correct otherwise they will not make a sufficient effort to do so.
