Cajun shrimp & fries $21.95
Alicia L.

I started to get a little worried as I read reviews during my 15-20 minute wait for my food. I stopped in around 8:30 on a Sunday and although they looked closed they were open. The owner, I forgot what he said his name was, got out of his car at the same time as me. I'm still not sure if that was planned or not. None the less, I was greeted promptly and professionally. The inside is closed so he directed me to a window on the side of the building. Everything about this whole set up was sketchy but my food.......My food was excellent. I went because I wanted some fried fish and ended up getting the cajun, fried shrimp. Let's start with the fries. Usually places put the seasoned salt on the fries and you can hardley taste it but these fries were fried and seasoned just like I like them. The shrimp was still piping hot by the time I made it home (15 mins). Don't let the shady location stop you. The food is good & so was my service.

This is fresh hot lemon pepper barbecue wings and fresh fries. Please excuse the picture it's bad lighting.

To clarify, I've heard so much about this joint for years, and never had the opportunity to try…read morethem. People would compare them to Five Guys, and In n Out... So, naturally I wanted to give 'em a go. So, here I found myself with time to kill at the Atlanta Airport... And apologies, a location in an airport will never be a shining example of a chain putting their best foot forward, I recognize this. But... pretty pedestrian ‍ In fact, I didn't even try a burger, I opted for a BLT. It's just ok... A rival of In n Out? Please, GTHOH...

I needed a quick bite to eat while waiting on my layover, and this was near the gate so I decided…read moreto grab a burger. It was kind of early, but the breakfast options didn't sound that enticing to me, so a burger at 8:30 am it was. They had a few ordering kiosks which made it easy to choose my items. I got a double Shack Burger and a side of fries. They were out of shakes, which was fine by me. I don't frequent Shake Shack that often, but I was surprised to see they had several chicken options (chicken nuggets, sandwich, etc.) as well as the breakfast items. My order was done quickly and they called my name when it was done. It was packaged pretty well in a tray and the burger was wrapped. The bag they put the orders in are sturdy! The burger was excellent - super juicy, pretty greasy, seasoned well, and hot. The lettuce and tomato were fresh, and the cheese was melty. I really loved this burger! The fries on the other hand, were pretty bad. They weren't very fresh and kind of stale. I'd skip them next time but would definitely order another burger.

A solid burger spot at the airport that isn't the most quick but does give a tasty non-airport-food…read moremeal to a weary traveler. It's easy to spot as you roam the terminal weighing your meal options. Naturally one second guesses a heavy, greasy burger before a flight. But the name teases and you have to give them a shot. Ordering via the kiosk is easy but waiting for you meal amid the smells is not. Basking in the aromas only reaffirms you made a wise choice. Then your name is called and you're off to find a spot to sit (or stand, if you're me). Digging in its love at first bite! The burger is well-made, hearty, and bursting with flavor! The fries alongside are the perfect level of crinkle-cut crispy, and the cold beverage washes things down and cleanses the palate for the next round. If you're like me and you have a tough time finding the "right" spot to eat at the airport, heed my advice and give Grindhouse Killer Burgers a shot. It's not necessarily the right meal, but it's the right meal now.

We uncharacteristically were flying out of the T-gates and had some extra time before a 6 p.m…read more flight. There seemed to be a few restaurants scattered along the concourse, but there was also a sort of food court near the center (as is the case with the larger concourses too). This one had a pizza outlet but we opted for Grindhouse (part of a local Atlanta chain). You order from large menu screens and get a receipt with your order #. Then they eventually call you to the counter to get your food. If you want burgers, they have you covered. We ended up getting fairly small burgers and split an order of fries. Prices were high, but this is the airport so that's expected. They weren't higher than competing places here. I waited on the order while my wife scouted a table. Depending on the time of day, tables can be in short supply, so this was a good strategy. The food came out fairly soon and was good. Within the captive environment of post-security checks at the airport, this is a good option for a pre-flight meal.
