They are kettle cooked, super crunchy and so many folded chips, which is my favorite kind of chip, if at all. I would say 90% of the chips are folded in this bag. Found some Sambal sauce down the Asian food aisle. Not a big assortment of items otherwise.

The one star is not for the store it it's wonderful employees…read more One star is for buying a tray of inedible finger sandwiches. Let's just say, it was an off day. The meat sandwiches were fine, however the "salad" sandwiches were not good. They were very heavy on the chicken and egg salad. I brought them to 22 hungry college students; they are not picky. Worried the sandwiches would not be enough. After the class gathering, I looked at the tray of sandwiches. Hardly any were gone. I asked one of my students about eating the sandwiches, and reluctantly she told me that no one could eat any of the non-meat pieces. As I cleaned up the room, I noticed half of the garbage can filled with sandwiches. On my way home from Baton Rouge, I decided to give Breax Mart some feedback. I went to their website and sent a comment about my experience. That was the first week in November. Around January 1, I sent another. No response. No phone call to more information. Whomever monitors the comments did not do their job. i was not going to send them another message. I thought, "Maybe they'll read it here." My entire experience was not up to Breac Mart's usual standards.

Sadly, imma have to revoke Walmart's temporary soul food selling card. They have no business selling chitt'lin seasoning. If you know how to cook chitterlings aka chitt'lins then you don't need this. They just broke a cardinal rule of soul food cookery. FYI...I don't eat these anymore because the old folk that cooked them are gone and they were clean. Can't trust some of these cooks today lol.

The cashier didn't know what or how to proceed. She called a supervisor or someone up to the register. This person, blonde, bleached hair with a heavy accent, looked at it and "Is this a Humana card, we don't take that". How ignorant and rude and classless. I'm a grown woman, intelligent and have class, why in the name of anyone would I be using an insurance card to pay for groceries. I told her it's a Red Cross card!! The chicken grilled or rotisserie is good but it is sometimes a trial and error, cause while always tasty it sometimes comes out dry. Their soups are flavorful and their sides tasty. The space however is a little crowded. But I get everything I can posible want for my little Latin heart who frequently misses its home food. They do stuck up on various Latin countries traditional foods. And their produce section might be small compared to large stores but the quality is as good or better than a wholes food or trader joe.

It is always impossible to walk down the isles, because there are never any employees to stock the shelves. The small amount of employees they do seem to have are rarely up front to help during check out. I tried running in one morning before work, and there was at least 3 customers not including me just waiting to check out. There was no employee in sight even after "squeezing the pig"-there version of a bell and yelling out for assistance. I waited 10 minutes just waiting on someone to show up,needless to say I wasn't able to get what I needed that morning. I walked out. Just for the record, I like coming to a Winn-Dixie and saying, "Because of_________." Alright, if…read moreyou've never read the book, Because of Winn-Dixie, you definitely wouldn't understand my reference, but if you did read it good for you. Now the book and the store doesn't have any relations. When I think of off-chain grocery stores, I don't expect for them to be much more expensive than big-box chains. I expect for them to be cheap or close to reasonable pricing. To compare: this store is equivalent to United Supermarket, Food Town, Foodarama, Seller Brothers, even Walmart. Just because Walmart is just too high. Tell me why packets of fish, all the fish are $7.99. Yes, due to me not able to get ham or even pork chops on Christmas, I wanted to eat fish. Everything has .99 after it, that's not even legit cents, but rather a full dollar amount more. Even HEB is cheaper than this place. I love HEB, but unfortunately, HEB can only be in Texas and some parts of TX. My mum and I visited this store on Christmas Eve and tell me why the whole store was had people everywhere because everybody is last minute or their plans got canceled. No big deal right, wrong---this store is equivalent to Walmart on another level because of the people of Walmart (http://www.peopleofwalmart.com/) has migrated to the people of Winn-Dixie. Without any filter, thanks now my eyes are scarred for life. Enter at your own risk, you've been warned!
