I asked a girl who was filling the case if they had any more of the BOGO chicken breasts to which she shook her head but didn't stop filling the tenders to even look at me. I spotted a green shirted manager reworking the meat case near the freezers and tried again. ( I had to ask twice just to get her attention).. she nodded toward the chicken area and said there were still a few there. I explained they were too large and I needed 2 small packages. ( the 3 packets that were in the case were over 14.00 each. Way too big for my husband and me). She said the packages came in a box and could not be altered. What? She then asked if I had more shopping to do, the girl from earlier was getting a new box and could I come back around. Ten minutes later I had finished my shopping and approached her again (she was still fiddling with the same freezer case). Again I had to address her a couple of times to get her to respond. I asked if the girl had gotten the box to which she replied the girl was weighing the box (?) and would be out when she was done. I asked if she, as a manager, could possibly go help her to expedite. She responded "you'll just have to wait." As it was Father's Day, I said I need to be somewhere soon to which she said" It's not my problem if you can't wait" I walked off from this unbelievably rude conversation and went to cashier. I was wearing a Liberty 250 shirt and Meagan, the cashier, looked at my shirt, shook her head and started ringing my order. I asked if there was a problem to which she responded what do you mean? and turned to her bagger and rolled her eyes. I regret I did not just walk out of the store at that moment. This store has gone downhill in customer service over the last several months. Is there a new manager that doesn't care about customer service? She needs to take another stab at training her staff. I live in one of the gated communities around the corner from this store. Thankfully there is another Publix not too far away. I have told my neighbors and friends in my community about this incident many of whom said they had already stopped going to this particular store.

For this reason, my reviews will be very similar unless the store is larger or smaller and the inventory changes. Publix is an amazing place to go shopping and Florida is lucky to have them here. Easy access and there is plenty of parking in the lot. This store has big welcoming entrance The store is very big and bright and the isles are very spacious. I think this is the largest Publix I have ever been in. There are the same big signs above the entrance to the isles clearly telling you what's in the isle. Honestly, it was easier to navigate here then some markets i regularly shop at. The team here is very friendly and helpful. Everyone who has ever assisted me did it with a smile. Team members have also offered to go to the isle and get the product I was asking about. The customer service here is amazing! The deli counter which is the same from store to store, is huge and the people here are terrific. The counter is big, and they also have a sandwich and hot food area. Dairy and meat, and fish counters are big and easy to navigate. I like the idea that they have a very comprehensive supply of wine and beer. We don't have the wine store in our supermarkets in New York, it's a nice touch. Check out is always a snap and I love how they always have a bagger to help. The really nice touch is how they ALWAYS ask me if I would like someone to bring my groceries to the car. (I guess being a senior citizen has its advantages.) They also have an amazing bakery with a very complete selection of fresh cakes, breads, classic items. Kudos to Publix and their management team for creating a great shopping experience for their clientele.

It's nicely laid out, and the staff in the bakery were really nice and helpful. I bought a rotisserie chicken, but found it to be quite dry, so that was a bit disappointing. The prepared hot soups made up for it because they are delicious. I'm looking forward to trying more of their large selection. I also picked up some apples, bananas and cucumbers, and the produce was fresh and reasonably priced. I wanted to check out the sushi station but somehow walked right past it and completely forgot. I've heard they do a good job, so I will have to remember next time I'm in the store. Overall, a really nice store and I'll definitely be back to explore more.

I also like to look at their greenwise meat and seafood options. I've recently been grabbing their cuban rolls, which are like a shorter sub roll, that my kids really love. In general, still enjoy the atmosphere of the shopping experience here.

We were nearby this one and decided to check it out. The store is small. Located on a corner. It's across from the Total Wine store. We took a short stroll to see what they had and to check out any new products. They also had a nice supply of prepared meals. We did wind up buying a couple things -- our freezer isn't very large and was still fairly full. The gal at the checkout was pleasant and the process was easy. The prices are good, staff is super friendly, and the aisles are clean and well-stocked. Dear foodtown/mangotree,…read more I am writing to share several serious concerns regarding my experiences shopping at your locations, specifically the stores in Hollywood (off Sterling Road) and on Military Trail. Overall, my interactions with the staff and management have been deeply disappointing due to widespread unprofessionalism and poor customer service. Key issues include: - Customer Service & Phone Etiquette: When calling to check on orders, I have repeatedly been placed on hold indefinitely, hung up on, and even mocked when calling back. - Staff Assistance: Staff members have been openly dismissive and unhelpful when asked for assistance finding items in the store. - Management Conduct: I have witnessed store managers behaving aggressively, speaking disrespectfully to customers, and refusing to resolve complaints professionally. - Food Safety Standards: When I voiced concern to an employee about raw fish being left out in a cardboard box without ice, my concern was dismissed and laughed off. While a select few employees have been helpful, the vast majority of my experiences have been overwhelmingly negative. Given these ongoing issues with store management, staff training, and health standards, I hope these matters are addressed immediately to improve the overall quality and safety of your operations - but I honestly doubt you will do anything except perhaps change your name again to attempt to hide from the overwhelming complaints you received in the past being foodtown. Good News for the community is that H-Mart a honest to goodness real asian super market is opening up in West Palm on military trail and will be putting you out of business in short order. Or support the smaller mom and pop asian markets who actually care to have us as customers. Sincerely, Puddy Tat
