Chocolate Ganache Cake
Kim P.

Like any grocery chain, Publix does some things well and others not so well, but one thing they do exceptionally well is CAKE! I stopped by to buy a birthday cake. Rather than get a traditional -- aka boring! -- cake with the sugary frosting, I selected the cannoli cake, which happened to be the featured cake of the month. It was made with vanilla cake and cannoli filling, and it featured a light whipped cream frosting. It also had chocolate ganache on top along with several chocolate chip cannoli's. Delightful! Chocoholics will absolutely love the chocolate ganache cake. So rich and delicious. You may even be tempted to just plant your face in the cake and start eating! Unfortunately, you may have to share this decadent treat. Be sure to join the Publix Club. Not only will you receive notices of their sales and deals such as $2 off of $10, you will also receive a bar cake for your birthday. They have a variety of bar cake choices to satisfy every type of craving. And if you prefer pie, Publix has one of the best key lime pies around. No, I don't work at Publix. Nor am I a paid spokesperson. I just love their cakes.

Publix in Canyon Town Center, Boynton Beach

Quick stop for snacks for the drive back to the North, this is a superior Publix. It's large and has wide aisles. Very well stocked with clear prices. The staff was friendly, including the nice lady in the deli who sliced meats and cheese for me and the young lady who rang up my purchases. Full supermarket with produce, bakery, butcher, seafood, frozen and many aisles of grocery. The dairy and cold aisles were nicely leveled. No carts in the cart corrals outside and no trash in the parking lot. I'm a fan! [Review 13697 overall, 1017 of 2020, number 1108 in Florida.]

While visiting my bestie, we did a quick pit stop at Publix. Publix is a household name in Florida and one of the most popular grocery stores in FL. They are not only known for their fresh groceries but also their deli, sandwiches and bakery section. Their cakes can be made per order earlier. They do a great job with chocolate choices in many of the cakes. Also, Floridians swear by how good the subs are at Publix, however this time I didn't have time but next time I'll be trying one of their famous subs. We just made a quick stop to get some limes for a drink we were making at home. Their produce looked good and somewhere I would shop if I lived near by. The check out line was non existent and we easily got our limes within a few minutes of visit.

They have a build-your-own sub starting at $4.99 (cheese is $1 extra), so I built a sourdough turkey and swiss with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, mayo, and mustard for $5.99. The size was generous -- I could only finish half and saved the rest for later. Great deal, great sandwich. I'll definitely be back for this one. While I was there, I also browsed around and picked up some organic apples and a few other items. Sprouts always comes through on the healthy options -- solid brands, great store-brand picks, and their produce section is consistently on point. Staff was welcoming and friendly too, which always makes the visit better. Elite tip: They have a rewards program linked to your phone number -- make sure you're collecting points every visit for discounts on future purchases. Don't leave money on the table!

I did sign up for a monthly membership for free delivery over 35$ Created my cart and the first order was delivered within the timeframe. Everything was packed neatly, the order was correct and I was shocked at my total. 131$ for 28 pounds of meat! Now the taste test! Tried the ground chicken first for Chicken Philly's....THE BEST ground chicken I've tasted! Literally like I cooked chicken breast and chopped them myself. Extremely lean! The ground beef 85% lean is great quality as well! The Cajun chicken quarters were PHENOMENAL...a new family favorite! The meat is so fresh! Perfect amount of seasoning. These cooked great on the grill. Absolutely no rubbery meat like local chains. The only thing my daughter complained about was the bacon....wasn't as salty as she is use to But I'll take it! All in all I am extremely pleased, and so glad I found a place for clean meat for my family, and the pricing still blows me away! Now I see why the friend of a friend bought a deep freezer!

We were nearby this one and decided to check it out. The store is small. Located on a corner. It's across from the Total Wine store. Even though it's a third (quarter?) of the size of the Fort Lauderdale store, they seemed to have a good representation of their offerings. We took a short stroll to see what they had and to check out any new products. They also had a nice supply of prepared meals. We did wind up buying a couple things -- our freezer isn't very large and was still fairly full. The gal at the checkout was pleasant and the process was easy. I'd come back again when next in the area.

Go immediately to Bedner's and pick up some of their Fresh Corn on the Cob... OGM! So sweet!!…read more Delicious!!! I like how they send you emails to let you know what's coming off the farm on the weekend... worked on me. Also, I wanted to pick up some Ice Cream from Sutton Milk Farm, a dairy farm in Okeechobee that makes amazing, fresh, ice cream. Both the Vanilla and Mint Chocolate Chip were fantastic. BTW, they also carry Duci Gelato if you can't make it to their place on Congress. That's the beauty of Bedner's Farm Markets... they search out the top quality items for sale at the store... and of course, the great produce, from their farms and other local farms. Just look at the beautiful veggies! Now, do yourself a favor... go pick up some corn! VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

They have 3 locations (Boynton Beach, Del Ray and West Palm) and I had been meaning to check them out for some time. I'm glad I did. The store itself isn't all that big but they do pack a lot of unique produce items, some hard to find. The produce is super fresh and some of the pricing is cheaper than big box supermarkets, while others are more pricey. In the end it evens out but you get local farm fresh produce and that's a win win. By the way, the lemonade blueberries were a pleasant surprise. I thought they would be on the tart side but they were refreshingly sweet. Happy I stopped in and will definitely come back!
