Sadly, this is an exceedingly difficult review to post. I absolutely love this location, however recently I have noticed a steady decline in the quality of customer service. It culminated this morning at 9:39 am. As I have been a regular customer for over five years, I've become friendly with the staff especially, Tim (the butcher - 5 STARS ALWAYS), and the personnel at customer service, because I regularly purchase wine and lottery. What was really distressing, this morning your associate Brian, who has assisted me numerous times, and when I say numerous, I am referring to dozens of encounters. Brian and two other associates engaged in a conversation, when I arrived at the ACM Lane, after patiently waiting for a while, I requested assistance. Bryan came over, cordially greeted me, because he KNOWS ME. I need him to clear the wine so I could complete my transaction. He asked me for an ID, I thought he was kidding, and I inquired why? He said since I had my wallet out and since it was HIS JOB, SHOW ME YOUR ID. Please understand, I know the Winn Dixies policy for someone who looks under forty, and if it's an underage cashier, they have to physically scan the ID. But in this case, I am 66 YEARS OLD, and appear older than 40, plus this associate has ASSISTED ME BEFORE. What I did was purposely cover the date and held the ID at an unreadable distance. He said thanks, I asked him, "What's my birthdate" to which he could not answer, He said "I saw the 19 in the year" which was impossible. Apparently, this is the new Winn Dixie Customer Service or this an associate trying to prove that he has some authority. This is NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE especially for long time customers who travel past two Winn Dixie's to shop at this location. Now, I feel disrespected and doubtful to return to this store, and this is where we purchase the bulk of our butcher prepared meat and chicken. read more

I like that you can scan the membership rewards "card" with the app now. I would recommend launching it before you hit the checkout since I've noticed I've had to log in when launching the app. This location is well stocked and if it's in the ad - It's usually available. They do have several lanes open each time I've shopped her. My complaint is their customer service. No one ever mans that counter and it seems like every time I need to go there to trade in lotto tickets... It just takes foreverrrrr. Not a fan. read more

I happened to be in the area, helping a friend move close by. So, on our way home we went to the Deli to purchase a hot meal or chicken to take home. The food did not look to appetizing, so I did not buy anything from the deli. The Deli Lady said they close at 7pm in this department. I did pick up a few things from other areas. Overall the store was very clean and organized. Most places force you to do self checkout, so that's what we did. Please bring back the Cashiers! I retired from Publix(former Cashier and Manager), but don't force people to do self check out if they don't want to. I did like all of their cool displays in the store. Meat department was a waste of time. Stood at the counter for over 15 minutes. I had to flag down a guy in an isle and he called someone and still waited 10 more minutes. I then spoke to a young man that appeared behind the counter. I ask where I could locate the meat for a London Broil? He said he thought they did not have any. He did not seem sure what I was looking for and did not want to look to see if they had any. All and all 30 min later I left empty handed. read more

I stopped here on occasion when I'm in this part of town. This Winn-Dixie is always clean and organized The selection of some items is not as large as in other Winn-Dixie's but it is definitely sufficient to get the job done Items from the bakery always appear to be fresh and there's always something there that's marked down so I know they're going through it every day checking the dates. They have a good selection of meat products and dairy products and it appears that they're careful with their packaging. The employees have always been nice. This one is a good bit nicer both in the staff and in customers than the one on blanding at Wilson or the one on Normandy at Cassat. read more

This is a very nice Winn-Dixie! The parking is easy and spots are always available. They have all the selections offered in every Winn-Dixie and it is conveniently located for easy shopping. They will usually open up a register if there's any long lines and it's super convenient to just pop in and grab what you need without having to look around for parking (one of my main issues going to other grocery and super stores on Roosevelt). Overall, I am happy with their customer service. I don't know why more people don't shop here. With the Winn-Dixie rewards card giving me cheaper gas at the pump and this location having most of my grocery needs, I'm happy to keep coming back. read more

this is my first review ever I was so disappointed I even joined yelp. I went by winn dixie on fathers day and got a box of fried chicken as I was alone. When I went to eat it it was so overcooked I couldnt eat it. I called the manager(his name was trey) and told him , his attitude was too bad. When I asked if I could return for a refund he said not without the receipt. I did not have it but i had the sticker on the box showing store #123. I have shopped there for a long time but I am now transferring my prescriptions and wont darken their door again. That $9.99 they saved will cost them more. This store is older in comparison to the renovated stores around town, but this is a great grocery store. The reason for the only 4 stars is due to there only being 1-2 registers open. It would be great if they had the self-checkout lines. read more

Love this winn-dixie. Though I am more of a Publix gal at heart, when I'm driving home from the dog park or just down Roosevelt in general this Winn Dixie is the perfect location for a quick stop. I've been in here a few times now, never a long line, the staff are more than happy to help you find anything and recommend products. Huge parking lot that's never packed, check out lines that aren't long, and isles that are nicely spread out. read more

I went with a friend to Winn Dixie to help her grocery shop; now I have a little history with Winn Dixie, when I was a young adult I worked at Winn Dixie back when the Davis Family owned it, and the first job you learned was bagging, then after a week you went to cashiering school. After Winn Dixie was sold by the Davis Family that went out the window, and boy can you tell the difference. I went outside to pull the car around as she was checking out, and when it was time to load the groceries into the trunk, I shook my head in disbelief; they bagged bread with can goods, they packed so many boxes in one bag the seams tore, they mixed meat & chicken with produce where the juices leaked out on them, they loaded a bunch of cans , glass bottles, and other condiments into one bag without even doubling it, instead of putting all the cold items like cheese, sour cream, cream cheese, and other dairy items in one bag they were mixed in with dry goods, and they put toilet bowl cleaner in with items that it should not have. To me this is just laziness and lack of pride in your job. Take some ownership, accountability, and take the initiative. These kids / young adults have no idea what work ethic is. read more

The customer service of this place has drastically declined. I hate having to stop in here honestly but sometimes its the most convenient. The cashiers don't ever listen or speak to you. I've asked several to double bag something or put something all in one bag and they completely ignore you. They don't even make eye contact. The prices are so similar to Publix, when grocery shopping I just go to Publix. They are much more pleasant. read more

The man in the meat and seafood department I believe his name is Bobby he is very very helpful and nice. I have came to this location to do my daily household shopping since it's so close to the apartments that I have been living in this past year and if nobody else in that building has good customer service no matter what day it is .. it is Him! Sometimes when I'm shopping I don't even go get anything from that department I literally just go back there to speak to him because he is such a gentlemen with great hospitality Thank You Winn Dixie for hiring him you all made a great decision choosing this candidate. read more

I like the store but hate those reward cards in general, its just a hassle to have an extra step I now have to do (which you HAVE to do at winn dixie unless you want higher prices), so I went back to Publix. I'd just rather have hassle free and not deal with silly cards everytime I check out. Plus Winn Dixie started asking for your ID to get the card, which they can link your address and name to your shopping to spam you, and I haven't been back since once I heard that. read more
