A premier store for Mooer guitar effects pedals, Levys guitar straps, and guitar picks. I was…read moreamazed that Guitar Man carries the full lineup of Mooer effects pedals (about 93 distinct models) including all their newest, high end offerings. This is the only guitar store in the DC/VA/MD area that carries more than just a sampling of Mooer pedals which are just beginning to gain high respect amongst musicians. Try out the Preamp Live pedal to see what I mean. Their selection of high quality guitar straps is also about the best I've seen anywhere other than in Nashville guitar stores. They seem to carry the full line up of Levy's straps as well as other brands of similar quality. I was also really impressed with their selection of high end guitar picks. If you're looking for a used guitars they have a wide range to choose from whether you are a beginner or a working musician. If you're shopping for a beginners guitar ask one of their employees for advice on what they would buy given a fixed budget. Because they have guitar techs and real musicians working here, they can give good advice. You can find a nice entry level used guitar here pretty easily. I came across several.

I've visited Poke_Dealz_LLC multiple times. My earlier visits were positive experiences, and the…read moreshop still has one of the best selections of singles, slabs, and sealed product on the Eastern Shore. The owner has always been friendly and welcoming, and I've enjoyed browsing and trading here in the past. On a recent visit, however, I ran into issues with how card condition was represented. I looked at a vintage single that had noticeable whitening, surface wear, and marks on the artwork, yet it was described and priced as if it were in significantly better condition. When I raised concerns about the card's state, I was given an explanation of grading standards, but the asking price remained far above what comparable damaged copies sell for. That left me feeling that condition labels and pricing were not being applied consistently. This is not about trying to negotiate a lower price. I'm comfortable paying fair market value for the right condition. My concern is that condition descriptions did not match the actual state of the cards. I also previously purchased a card labeled as moderately played that had a visible stain on it. I was able to clean it myself, but had I not known how to do that, I would have ended up with a damaged card at a higher-than-appropriate price. I still think the shop has a strong selection and is worth visiting, especially for sealed product and general browsing. I would just recommend that buyers carefully inspect singles before purchasing. I hope future visits return to the positive experiences I had before
