Atmosphere: so we got there on a Monday night. It was pretty busy and we requested a low table (we are 4'11 and 5'2 so can't do high tops with stools). We were told it would be about 20 minutes. We went outside to wait as there wasn't room to wait inside. About 15 minutes later we were told our table was ready. We went inside and they wanted to put us on a high top. We reminded them we requested a low table. They said ok and it would just be a few more minutes. WE STOOD THERE DOR AN ADDITIONAL 25 minutes. In which in this time, just stood there while 2 of the girls at the counter were just talking badly and complaining about another employee or manager (not sure who). We were about to leave when we were finally seated. Unfortunately the table was right by the door that was being kept open by some kids holding it open for 10 minutes waiting for a table. Food: the food is always good. I never complained about the wings or coleslaw cause it's always good but unfortunately it did go cold before we were able to finish because of the door. This was my first time at this location, and the food here is better than other locations. The place is kind of small, so you will want to hit this place up during slower hours in order to sit quickly. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I ordered a burger, and it was one of the tastiest burgers in the Akron/Canton area. It actually had a great char with seasoning. The prices here are pretty competitive as well. I hope the next time that I come back, that the food will be just as tasty. They also carry Coke products, which is a huge plus for me! read more

Came here after event at Walsh University and was glad a winking lizard was nearby. I honestly can't say I've ever been to Canton before, so I was surprised to see this restaurant out here. My last visit was to the downtown Cleveland one earlier in October, which was an okay experience, but they didn't have the goodness that the suburban restaurants have. This one was just that -- it had a great cheeseburger and fries, along with the amazing sauces of the homemade BBQ and the homemade ranch. Service was good too. No problems whatsoever. read more

The wings were crispy, the sauce had a pleasant flavor and the heat was very low (which is good because I dislike spicy food). Not a bad place. Wide selection of food from crab cakes to ribs. Food is always pretty good too. One really great thing about this chain, is that they always have some sort of special going. There is wing night, special drinks, desserts and more. Another thing I really like, is the the fresh popcorn. They have a popcorn machine right inside the door. Free for the taking. I like to grab a bag on the way out. The only reason it's getting 4 stars and not 5 is because of the atmosphere. I feel incredibly cramped at this location. (Side note - this is the only location I've been to) This last time we went, we were sat at a table that was so tiny, I couldn't fit my plate comfortably. First off let me say, the food is delicious. I always like to start with a positive, now on the negative side, I don't know who setup the inside of this place but I HATE this location for the simple fact that if there is any sort of a wait, you are crammed in as soon as you walk inside,the host booth is placed so funky and cuts off the whole front of the restaurant, there is no "waiting area" except for inside the double doors and that gets hectic when people want popcorn and there's a room full of people. I wish the location was bigger, so if we go to this one instead of the one in jackson, we typically just order to go. Tons of different wing sauce choices, and they charge you extra if you ask for a side of sauce, it's one of the only places around that does that, which im not a fan of, but I get it. This location is not very kid friendly. Not a lot of room and directly across from the college, so it's definitely for more of a younger crowd then family. read more

Came in for a quick late night date night (about 9:45pm) without the toddlers and were pleasantly surprised! Customer service was fantastic--no mention of the kitchen closing or making us feel rushed throughout our meal. If I could give less than a star I would. After being seated and waiting 25 min with NO server, manager or anything approaching us we got up and left. The 6 top next to us had a server that had 13 tables and was more than happy to tell them that is why they sat there for an extended period without service either. When leaving I informed the two hosts standing at the entrance that we had left out menus on the table and waited for 25 min, which basically got me a blank look. If you have two host and servers in the weeds then you better get out there and help. Thankfully the Giant Eagle next door has an awesome salad bar. read more

Just happened to be in the area and asked some locals where to go for wings. They had a HUGE amount of IPAs and beers. Crazy selection. Bartender was patient with my old self until I was ready to order. Wings were good although I shoulda asked for extra wet. Fries were thick and crunchy. I came here again around 12pm after a spring soccer game at Walsh. Last time I was here it wasn't a positive experience, this time it was an amazing experience. Our waitress was on top of things and got refills and answered all of our questions. We had our refills topped off before we were finished with our waters and soda. I got a lemon salmon sandwich and steak fries that had avocado and tomato on it. It was a good size and tasted fresh and was hot. My friend got a chicken salad that looked amazing and he enjoyed it as well. Fresh warm food, and a friendly server I still don't like how cramped the restaurant is and sitting at tables instead of booths is a bit of a pain. But the food was amazing this trip and I look forward to visiting again when I am at Walsh. read more

I would rate this place higher but, it's too small!!! The zoning didn't permit a larger place due to the developer and the anchor store in that plaza, at least that is what I heard. They have a fantastic selection of draft beers, something like 36. 100 or so battle beers. They have a rotating menu selection about every month. Food is good, never had to return a plate. But I'm not a picky or fussy eater either. If you are in the area try this place out, just beware where your elbow is. read more

That being said, they have yet to get a take-out order for me or my co-workers correct. Not a bad place. Was a little difficult to find as we happened to come in from behind the restaurant and unfortunately they only have a sign on the front. So, we ended up in a parking lot that didn't connect and have to drive around more than necessary. Overall very friendly and attentive staff. They quickly greeted us and had a table (with high chair) within minutes (we were there 330/4ish on a Saturday.) They promptly took our drink order and allowed us to review the menu, which was smaller than some of the other Lizard locations, but still had a lot of options. Everything actually was smaller, the dining area, bar and beer selection. But even though the bottle list was small, there was a large draft list. Drinks eventually came out, but they took a little longer than you'd think they should (two drafts.) Our meals came out and were actually pretty good. The smaller location outshines some of the larger spots in regards to food. I had a simple grilled cheese, but it wasn't burnt (or raw.) My wife got the veggie wrap and they made sure it didn't have mushrooms (as she requested.) For those parents with diaper changing kids, the women's restroom did have a changing table!! This place used to be great...but has gone downhill. Service is spotty...went there and sat 25 min on the patio when they weren't busy at all and got zero service. Finally had to flag a manager down and ask what was the problem. No explanations were given. Bar staff is ok but used to be better and more engaging. The drink pours are almost embarrassing. Mixed drinks are so weak that one can barely tell if there is alcohol in it or not. For the prices they charge for drinks I expect better alcohol to mixer ratios. Would not recommend at all. Go to 91 across the parking lot and get better value and service! read more

Went to pick my to go order and the hostess, who by the way took my phone order, could not find it. It never made it to the kitchen. Had to wait while she entered it and the kitchen prepared it. So, maybe refresh her on order entry and have the kitchen label the pre-filled condiments so I get salad dressing for my salad and not sour cream. At 5:15 on a Friday, my boyfriend and I went here for dinner. Happy to get greeted and seated at a table right away as it was freezing outside. We took off our coats, got our menus, got settled and placed our drink order (non-alcoholic) with our waitress. The waitress came back after a few minutes and instead of giving us our cokes she asked to see our IDs. (???) I am 21 and my boyfriend is 20; both students at the university across the street... (the university that they "so proudly support"). I asked if we had to both be 21 at that hour in the early evening -- she said yes and that the hostess was "supposed" to card us at the door - which she obviously didn't nor even mentioned anything of the policy. THE WAITRESS THEN ASKED US TO GET UP AND LEAVE; no "let me get my manager to see if we can work this out..." and no apology; just a small smile. I completely understand the policy of not wanting 'underage' people in a bar setting... BUT, if they're not going to enforce this AT THE DOOR for our convenience and theirs, then what's the point??? Not only was this completely rude on their part, but it was also embarrassing and ruined our night. Needless to say, I called the manager and complained. read more

The good is pretty good, especially if you're looking for bar/pub food. Service is fine. Outdoor seating is great but it's a little cramped inside. Definitely a good place for beer. One time I ordered the Glass of the Month and I got a great beer, a nice beer glass, and a sweet winter hat, all for $12. It's probably the best winter hat I own and I still wear it. Always crowded. Always good food, although their wings are never very crispy. Not my favorite wings although their sauces are excellent. Try the grilled cheese that has multiple types of cheese.
