    Me with my balenciagas

I'm so grateful to Wink & the woman who fixed my precious balenciaga sunglasses. I literally am so blessed by her existence I could not live without these and they honestly feel even better than they did before I broke them. 10/10!!

I found them by pure luck and I was very pleased with the whole experience. Diane was very helpful and professional. They have a great selection and they know their product. I had broken my Siluettes and they repaired them for me right away. I could not believe that it could be fixed so fast. They deffinitely know what they are doing. My visit was during Covid, so I was very happy to see that they took all safety measures and they were masked up and going above and beyond the standards. This place gets a five star from me. Thank you Wink.

Outstanding glasses along with Stanford(Palo Alto) university sky in backdrop.

I had a fantastic experience with Dr. Moarefi and the team at LA Sight. From the initial…read moreconsultation to the follow-up care, the level of patient care was exceptional. Dr. Moarefi takes the time to thoroughly explain every step of the procedure, ensuring you feel completely comfortable, informed, and reassured throughout the entire process. The staff is warm, professional, and attentive, making the clinic environment efficient yet relaxed. It is clear that Dr. Moarefi genuinely cares about his patients' well-being and visual outcomes rather than just rushing people through the door. My vision and overall experience exceeded expectations--I highly recommend LA Sight and Dr. Moarefi to anyone looking for top-tier eye care!

Poor patient care experience and disregard for my time. I requested a medical form to be completed,…read moreand after noticing two sections were incomplete, I called and was told by the doctor that those sections could be filled out. I drove to the office to drop off the form, only to later be told by Dr. Moarefri that a $150 fee would apply. I would have understand and respected the fee for the later, more comprehensive requests, but I was specifically told these two sections could be completed. Instead, I made an unnecessary trip based on information that was not honored. Additionally, filling out the form would've been more straightforward & less time-consuming if my medical notes were thorough to begin with. The two receptionists were not necessarily rude, but I found their responses dismissive. My medical record only stated "mild condition X," and my files contained retina photos without written interpretations. Yesterday, when I explained that I needed more information for the form, the receptionist starting with the letter M said, "Well, that's just how doctors write notes," while another said on the phone today, "It's not incomplete; the pictures are there for other doctors to interpret." These responses felt dismissive of my concern. As a patient, I should be able to understand what my medical records and images show rather than be left without an explanation of my own condition. The interpretation of my own medical images are not just exclusive to other doctors. I previously left a positive review because I had a good experience with the eye evaluation. Was it thorough? Yes. Was the patient support equally good? Unfortunately, I can't say so. I also discussed LASIK candidacy with Dr. Moarefri, and I felt my concerns were somewhat dismissed. My myopia had increased by more than 2 diopters over six years as an adult, and when I expressed concern, I was told, "That's not a big increase." I was also encouraged to proceed with LASIK without what I felt was a balanced discussion of both the benefits and risks. As a doctor, he should be aware that lasik should only be recommended once the vision has stabilized. I believe patients deserve a realistic discussion of both the potential benefits and complications. A 99% success rate doesn't mean there is zero long-term risk. You can be fine for many years but develop sight-threatening complications (such as ectasia) down the line. You just never know. For me, that uncertainty was a risk I wasn't willing to take. This is why it's important to thoroughly research and listen to different perspectives before proceeding rather than solely relying on the judgement of one doctor -- especially when they make it sound like it's all sunshine and rainbows. Other lasik doctor I consulted with was honest enough to recommend surgery once my myopia stopped progressing. This experience made me realize how important it is to find a doctor who genuinely prioritizes informed decision-making and the patient's long-term well-being rather than simply promoting a procedure. LASIK may be a good option for some people, but patients should be given the full picture and enough information to make that decision for themselves.

I also didn't know that people of my nationality have different optical nerves. I hope that is not a bad thing.

The surgery works but barely any proper prep, nor communication about how painful this surgery…read morewould be. Barely any advice before and the aftercare was the absolute worst and handled extremely poorly. They wouldn't even let me pick up the medication before I picked up my partner from surgery so they had to wait for their meds while in severe pain. Really disorganized! Other doctors that perform prk understand that pain is different for patients and some offer stronger pain medication to relieve the pain but all laser eye center provided were coated Tylenols. They also didn't prescribe according to height and weight so the amount of medication barely lasted 2 days. It also barely made a difference with pain. It's actually ridiculous and infuriating thinking about how unprofessional and unorganized this place was. I begged and pleaded for any kind of help and they would coldly say, "well some patients experience a lot pain, and some don't at all and there's nothing we can do". No empathy, no apology, no compromise. shouldn't you help patients paying out of pocket to access medication to help?? Is this a joke? We were reassured he'd get pain meds after and that he'd be fine but nope, just a small amount of coated Tylenol with no refill despite explaining our circumstance. No numbing eyedrops. Nothing they could do while my partner is crying and screaming in agony for four days straight with barely any sleep. Have you ever seen a grown man screaming and crying and kicking me begging to gauge his eyes out for four days straight? All day long? Horrible service, horrible help, horrible nurses, and front desk management. Their on call person has no idea what they're talking about and would just say to wait to talk to the doctor tomorrow. Like ????? What's the point of an on call nurse who has minimal experience. The one star is because the Asian female doctor herself was the only redeeming factor of this business that saves it and it seems out of her hands. But at least her attitude and personality was understanding and kind. We understood it could take longer to heal with pain meds but my partner was crying that he'd gauge his eyes out before they even heal and BEGGED. We felt scammed about how they downplayed it and it felt like they underexaggerated the process. He said it felt like medieval torture and like sand constantly scratching his eyes still the office handled it so poorly I get livid just thinking about this. It was excruciating for me to take care of someone suffering so much and even worse for him. I would never recommend this business to anyone for the way they handled the prk surgery. If you get prk surgery, go somewhere else. They don't care about their patients, you're just another number and dollar sign. Never again. Also parking is $12. Absolutely ridiculous and disgusting.
