Needless to say I could not see properly and was living off my contacts. Anyways I found a groupon online for Vision express and could not pass it up. I called in before to confirm how the groupon worked and the guy who answered the phone was super nice and explained exactly how it would work. I went in and I was the only customer in there but I expected that based on location and time. The guy working who's name I did not get got up and helped me immediately. Let me walk around and try on all the different pairs of glasses and find my own frame. He didn't try to push me or upsell me on the frames outside of my groupon. I told him I had a groupon and he was totally cool about it. He was super accommodating and patient with me. It did kind of get awkward since I was the only one in there but he wasn't staring me down or anything. I'm just awkward. There was a huge selection of different frames and brands. Prices for frames ranged from $200 up to $500. Then the lenses were another cost not covered by the groupon so I had to pay for that. The lenses ranged from 200-400 depending on your prescription. All in all I found a pair of glasses I liked. Price was good especially with the groupon. Glasses should arrive in less than a week. Nothing to complain about ...yet.

More than 2 years later, I got the same first-class treatment with even more choices than I remembered. Shortly thereafter, I received my new lenses & very handsome Giorgio Armani tortoise shell sunglasses! Desperate to save my glasses, I popped into A-Look to see if they could help after hearing from the excellent experience my sisters had at the shop. Alfred saw right away what was wrong and said he would do his best to fix the problem though he couldn't promise anything because the damage was pretty bad. Thankfully he was able to fix things and my glasses have felt amazing ever since. From the moment you enter the store to the aftercare service, A-Look pays attention to the details. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and they take the time to listen and help you find what you're looking for. The selection is also great - lots of fashionable frames to choose from. Couple years ago, when I moved to Richmond Hill, I found this amazing store and I ordered my glasses, having Zeiss lens. I've been using the same service in all this time and now I have my third pair of glasses made at Johnson Optical. So, if you want quality and in special European quality, then I really recommend Zeiss lenses and Silhouette frames.
