What a DISAPPOINTMENT!!! Be aware! This was my first time in this studio but not the first time I got my lashes done. I paid $200 plus tip for a full set of lashes. To my surprise, 30% of my lashes had fallen out in the following two days, and by day nine I had lost 70%! I called the studio and explained my concern hoping that they would assume some responsibility and offer a complimentary half-price refill or something else. However, I was astonished when they told me that I would probably pay $85 since I lost lots of lashes. Really? First, I didn't have a good impression of the place when I arrived. I had to fill out a disclaimer without a clipboard (because they didn't have one). It didn't look clean as you expect of a beauty salon. I had to ask for relaxing music in the background and to turn on the air conditioning. That was a waste of money! I should have had a full refund! Getting my lashes was a gift from my husband for my birthday which vanished on day 11th. I canceled my refill appointment, and I will never go back to this place. I didn't want to write this, but every time I remember I could've used that money for something else or donated the money to a good cause, it makes me upset. I have been going to Wink for several years and it has been nothing but a great experience all around. The staff has always been the sweetest people and the studio just has an amazing atmosphere. I was lucky to have found Michaela. I went to her for about 6 months before moving away. She did my classic lashes and they were always perfect and exactly how I wanted them. Her isolation is amazing (not many artists take the time like she does) and my lashes would easily last 3 weeks while still looking like they were a fresh fill. Sadly, I have tried lots of lash artists since moving and have decided to stop getting lash extensions because no one is as good as Michaela. read more

She was always so kind, and always made an effort to make small talk, and get to know me, which I never had before - most lash artists just kept to themselves! She also did amazing work! When I was getting ready to do my engagements and Bridal photos she made sure to add extra lashes so they'd look perfect! Always went above and beyond for me, which I truly appreciated! Love love love this place! Rose is fabulous, she is truly a artist. I was in Monterey, Calif. for work and had my lashes done at a studio that had great reviews, they did a horrible job!!!!!!! The girl glued my lash to close to my eye and I was in terrible pain, she only put maybe eight lashes on each eye and they were different sizes. I looked so ridiculous. And they charged me $ 225. Went in for a fill. Maggie was my lash technician. She was very friendly and could carry on a conversation to pass the time. Establishment was very cozy and clean. As far as the actual work. I got 14 with a D curl. Overall she did an ok job. My left eye wasn't as full as my right eye and she said that in time it will get fuller and fuller. Umm ok. She did do a great job on my right eye than the first technician. The first technician(lash n brow lounge) had the inner corner of my eye kind of drooping, maybe cuz she used 15's on my WHOLE eye instead of 13,14,15 or 14,15. The lashes seem softer than the lashes from lash and brow lounge. read more

First appointment I had made initially, the lash technician cancelled the appointment 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time (keep in mind they have a 24 hr cancellation policy or they will charge you for half of the appointment). After rescheduling this cancelled appointment, the lashes looked great, however whatever type of glue/lashes this company uses does not stay fixed at all. The lashes continually fell out within a week (I have had lashes before and have never had an issue such as this). Also, during this appointment being 7 months pregnant and not able to lay directly on my back for long periods of time, I had asked if they had a simple pillow I could support myself with and the women in the studio looked at me as if I was crazy and that there were no accommodations they would be able to make for me. Definitely not a good experience and did not make me feel welcomed. Needless to say, I will not be going back. read more

I needed an emergency tan for my cousin's wedding that was happening about 6 hours later. Cami (sp?) was awesome! She assessed my needs and decided to go a shade darker than normal because I didn't have the usual 8 hours to set. I had to shower 5 hrs later. She was quick, made me feel extremely comfortable, and was very knowledgable. She instructed me during the process and for aftercare as well. There was even a spot afterwards that I noticed she missed and she insisted on fixing it before I left. She really cared about me as a client and for that, I really appreciated. read more

*I think my initial review was a little too harsh, so I've come back in and edited it a bit a day later.* I went in yesterday for my first ever set of eyelash extensions. The salon was nice on the inside, but I was hoping for better service. The girl at the front desk was on the phone when I arrived and didn't even acknowledge my presence. After a few minutes of standing up front a technician from the back came up and asked me if I had an appointment and then went and got the technician my appointment was with. After seeing a few pics on Wink Lash's insta account I scheduled my appointment with Amy. I'm happy with how my lashes turned out (although I don't have anything to compare them too), but I wasn't thrilled with the service. She asked me a few questions in the beginning, but I'd made it a point to tell her it was my first time ever getting eyelash extensions in the hopes that she would take the time to explain the different styles/options available even though my appointment that night was just for a classic fill. (At least then I'd know for next time.) I kind of felt like I was annoying her because I didn't know the process for when to lie down, close my eyes, etc. My left eye was hurting quite a bit early in the process and I pointed it out to her. She did something that made it feel better for a while, but then that same eye watered the remainder of the appointment and felt pretty irritated. I kept having to reach up and wipe the tears away. After we were done she showed me the before and after pics and I asked her if she could send them to me (while her phone was still in her hand). Instead, she basically rushed me up front to pay, while trying to get me to schedule my next appointment. Perhaps she had another client waiting or somewhere to be, but it would have taken her two seconds to send those pics while I was paying. Or at least she could have explained why she was going to do it later. FYI, I still haven't received the pics. *Update: I did receive the pictures the following evening from someone else who works at the salon.* I'm not a big reviewer, especially negative reviews, but it does frustrate me when people in a service type industry are not friendly or communicative with their clients. In summary, I would go back to Wink-Lash, but I might choose a different technician next time. Not because Amy's work wasn't good - it was - but because I think I would prefer a more friendly/communicative technician who also does good work. Sidenote: I think it would be really helpful if Wink-Lash would put up bios of their technicians on their website and/or tag their technicians work related insta-pages (assuming they have them) when posting on the Wink-Lash account. That way new clients have a bit more info to go on before picking a technician to schedule an appointment with. read more

I was in town for the weekend and needed a last minute fill. I called on a Saturday morning, and they let me know they were booked for the day, but they would call me if there was a cancelation, I didn't really think they would, but about 10-15 minutes later I got a call saying they had a cancelation! I got in with Rose and she did magic! She didn't care I was a one time client, she took amazing care of me and we spent the hour chatting and having a great time!
