I recently moved to Berlin and bought a new bike to get around the city. I was warned about the high theft rate so I invested in a lock with an alarm. What I didn't realize was that thieves will even steal your seat, so I needed to even buy a lock for my seat!
Luckily, the Wingwheels Service Center was on the same street as my apartment. Even though I did not buy my bike there, they were happy to help. I ordered a seat lock (less than 5€) and they installed it when it came in.
I didn't know how to operate my alarm lock, so they showed me how to do it. And they reminded me to bring my bike back to the store where I purchased it within the first 3 months for its checkup because it would be covered by the warrantee.
