LaDonna has became a very favorite person to my family and I. She always greets us with a nice warm southern greeting, remembers all 8 members of my family name and makes sure we are always taking care of. That's the normal with us but today while dining in. Horrible service. We ordered food online and I called in to verify they received my order because we did not receive a confirmation email, but were charged. They said they did not receive our online order and we would get an automatic refund since the order never actually went through. The employee said this happens all the time and as long as they didn't have a receipt for the order our card would not be charged. Well we never received the refund, never got food and were charged and the manager said there is nothing she can do since there is no online receipt. However, our bank shows proof. My first time at a Wingstop anywhere, and I must say that I left the place impressed, and with a full belly. Conveniently located across from the Courtyard Marriott on S. Broadway, this Wingstop left me with an impression of being highly customer service oriented as well as in being a step up in obtaining a customized food order. First off, these wings are not like your typical Hooters or Bubba's wings. You'll get to choose from so many different sauce blends and textures. In addition, the employee will give you a souffle cup filled with your choice of sauce to sample with a toothpick prior to ordering. For this visit, I chose a mild sauce that was comparable to a General Tso's chicken sauce for my boneless wings. Add in a combo meal choice of fries & a drink, and you are good to go. The order will take 8-10 minutes to prepare, yet this is a good thing. In fact, if I was the cook here, I would take longer in order to minimize the risk of salmonella poisoning. Who wants that in your order? I noticed some folks with to-go orders getting antsy after waiting 10-15 minutes. My advice: call Wingstop prior to getting there to minimize the wait. The fries were of good quality, yet tasted sweet for some reason. Couldn't put my finger on it, whether it was a different type of sea salt used, or something entirely different. The wings were outstanding, albeit with a kick, which was surprising since I ordered mild. My beverage choice was unsweetened iced tea, yet there is a decent amount of beer choices within the cooler, from bottled Corona to three or four on tap brews. The confines of the Wingstop were comfortable, and designed more like a well lit pub. And of course, customer service was very, very good. I am always up for wing stop. My husband and I love their wings. We came here last night around 730 and were abke to get a table for four even though it was a little crowded. We all ordered original hot wings. Mine was the only order that was boneless. Within fifteen minutes our order was piping hot and at our table. I love that the wings are always made to order. I was just at the Wing Stop on Broadway. I have never in my years experienced how I was treated as a customer. I wanted to talk to the manager and the cashier I believe her Name was Maria was so rude to me. She ignored me three times I was trying to pick up my food order like I have done in the past. When I asked for the Manager (Alfonso) he sent a cashier up to me stating he was to busy. I said I want to talk to him not you. She started getting vocal and would not keep her mouth shut and proceeded to demand I talk to her. The Cashier I had the issue with was standing next to her involved in the whole discussion. And she was telling me to be quite and kept addressing the issue. I did not want to speak to her and she continued and the so called sub-manager would not excuse her from the conversation. Defended her the whole time. Refused to give me a credit on my acct and pretty much told me I had to take it. I told the sub-manager that she needed to learn how to speak to customers. And the girl I had an issue with called me a Fuckin Bitch. Not once mind you twice. And told me to get out. And they both ganged up on me verbally. I know the manager could hear this conversation and still did not come out to help the situation. As we know in this day and age, so many fast food workers have assulted customers and I am pretty sure if I did not walk away they would had ganged up on me. My whole life I have never experienced such rudeness. And its real, people the workers have gone crazy on customers. Wish we could bring back time.
