I want to give them 3 stars, just because of location. Looks a little rough on the way in, but I was very well received by the staff with quick explanations of the menu. The worst. Literally wasn't greeted properly, the workers took forever to ask for my order. I had to initiate the conversation to get the person to order. Literally the worst service we have had in as long as I can remember. We are avid Wingstop lovers but will never come to this location again. I called in the order ahead to time, and in the part where they usually give you an obscurely specific amount of time until the order is ready, the guy just hung up on me. Then upon arriving (20 minutes later) we waited another 30 minutes for our pick up order. Honestly nobody there looked like they could care less. Then once we got our food, it was wrong. And they said they would have to cook it again and we'd have to wait another 10 minutes. So over an hour later we left with our takeout order as not as much as a head nod from an employee. So rough. If I could give this place ZERO Stars, I would. I ordered food online to avoid the risk of being in store to order. I arrived without a mask as I forgot it at work, but I figured since I already ordered the food online, It would be fine for me to run in, grab my food, and run out. Or if that wouldn't work, I thought maybe since the employees are in the business of customer service, they might have suggested that I wait outside while they bring me my food. My experience was completely the opposite. I walked in and was immediately told by the Manager, Neasha James, that they would not serve me without a mask. I told them I forgot one and that we already ordered online and already paid for the food. She said she didn't care and that she wouldn't serve me without a mask. I asked to speak to the manager and she replied in a snarky tone, "you're looking at her!" I then went out to my car, found an old pillow case to put around my face (as if that was actually good for my health) and walked back in. THe employees immediately were willing to serve me, but maintained a very sarcastic and snarky tone as they gave me my food. I said to them as I was leaving, "I really appreciate the service." They told me to "Have a good weekend." I said, "Yeah, whatever." And as I went to walk out the door, they erupted in a fit of cackling and condescending laughter. I then turned to them and said "Hey listen..." and was immediately interrupted by one of the girls who said, "Sir, if you do not leave I will call the cops!" I told her to call the cops if she wanted, but I really wanted to say that I was sorry for the way the interaction had gone down. From my perspective, there was no reason for our interaction as customer and employee to play out like that. I told them sorry, when I was the one who was owed the apology. Neasha James - You are in the business of customer service. Its your JOB to give customers the food that they order. Not to police civilian behavior. I get it, its company policy. But, I forgot my mask, and you should have tried to help me as your customer figure out a way to get me the food that I had ordered from your store. You should have been helpful and decent. This location is just terrible. I usually go to the one on Hamilton Church but sometimes I find myself closer to this area so I have stopped here more than a couple of times. I've stopped here on multiple occasions and always at different times. This place looks filthy, tables and counters are sticky. One of the times I went there, me and my boyfriend parked and as we were coming out of the car, we saw an employee coming out of the car parked next to us and going into the store, We didn't think anything of it. We waited for over 50 minutes to get our food, it was a busy night since there were many people waiting for their food. I understand that it can get busy and I don't have a problem with waiting but when I realized why it was taking so long, it made me feel a little upset and uneasy. There were about 3-4 employees that day and at least one or two kept going out to the parking lot and into the car that was parked next to ours. As they were walking back in, the smell of marijuana would fill the whole place. I really don't care what you do or if you smoke or not, but we were all obviously tired of waiting for they to get high and come back in whenever they felt like it. Two days ago I stopped there again and there were only two people there, the guy that greeted us looked bored, holding his head as he was getting our order. We waited, yet again, more than 45 min. This time there wasn't anybody else in the store but us, not counting the online orders of course. I think this place needs to be supervised closely. The wings are good when freshly made but not fried hard which happened often. I don't recommend going there right after work because they are changing employees out and don't care how your food turn out. Several times they left out my side items. There was so little flavor and so much grease on these wings. I got the garlic parmesan and teriyaki. Tasted no garlic, only had a parmesan texture. Teriyaki tasted just blah. I go here a lot and 3 times I've witnessed employees cuss/argue with a customer and the manager do nothing about it. I do not recommend coming here. They will disrespect you and are very rude. I stopped in for lunch mid-afternoon, definitely not peak time. There was one couple ahead of me ordering when I came in and one other person waiting for his order. Fifty minutes later, I finally got my order - had to have them make it to go since I was out of time for lunch. There were four people in the kitchen, not including the disinterested and bored looking counter person. I have no clue how it took almost an hour to accomplish what should have taken 10 minutes max. I got the traditional wings with Louisiana Dry Rub. The wings were on par with Zaxby's, but the dry rub was better. The pricing was competitive. Absolutely one the worst experiences I've had with service. I ordered online and the wait was 15-21 minutes (I live 5 minutes from this particular store) and had gotten there knowingly about 10 minutes early so I asked the woman at the register if she would let me know when my order was ready and she wasn't much of a talker more or less rude and just kind of shrugged or moved her head to answer any questions. So I went and sat down after finding out the ice machine didn't have ice in it and I couldn't get anyone to come and see if I could get ice because they were busy talking amongst themselves for what seemed like a long time when I was standing there. So after another 20-25 minutes of waiting and 3-4 other people receiving their food I get up to see what's going on and low and behold my food is sitting on a cart while they talk amongst themselves. I went in there and left feeling like I wasn't welcome or treated with any respect. I received a survey asking how the service was and was told I'd be contacted and never were. I contacted them on Facebook they read it and did not reply. So this wingstop does not care about decent service or getting your food in a timely manner. This was my first time trying Wingstop and my last. Customer service was just ok. When I went in a bunch of young employees were grouped around talking. A young gentleman came out to help me but I feel like I was being an annoyance to them. The food was awful. I waited 30 minutes to get my order and the place was not even busy.This was around 7 in the evening. I see why now. The wings were way too greasy as well as the fries. Very bland flavor. I used to own a restaurant and the problem is the grease that they were using tonight is old. While I was there a police officer came in and spoke with one of the employees about something. I am sure that other locations are better than this one. Avoid this one for sure. read more
