Let's be realistic, these are fast food wings and to be fair a curved grade seems appropriate. No... they were not the most succulent, flavorful food fiesta to touch my lips but they weren't bad. I had the honey rub (or whatever they call it) and found the taste quite agreeable. The chicken sandwich was also tasty and honestly, is on par with at least a dozen fast fowl erstwhile burger joints now enlisted in the chicken wars. Wings are the new disposable foodstuff in much the same way Taco Bell is disposable "Mexican" fare by way of Cleveland. What's the old Stephen Stills line... "If you can't be with the one you love, love the one you're with." Not every meal needs to be Michelin quality and I can say with gusto that Wingstop is certainly not. I haven't tried out this location for the longest time, despite how close it is to home, due to some bad reviews. But we had no idea what to eat one night and had coupons so decided to give it a try. Making an order was pretty straightforward--you decide how many wings and what kind and what sauce. And then the sides. We opted for 5 boneless with the hot sauce, and 5 bone in with the lemon pepper, along with two orders of fries. The hot sauce was not very hot, and the lemon pepper tasted a bit artificial. But the wings were both cooked very well--no soggy pieces here. The fries were well fried but the seasoning had sugar in it, which I didn't really like. However while in the restaurant we overheard a very loud conversation from kitchen staff using extremely salty language. I came to check out the new chicken sandwich. It is super overhyped online so I think I had my expectations too high. I got the garlic parm sandwich combo and the price is super reasonable for all the food you get! I didn't like the fries the seasoning was sweet and the fries were on the soggy side. They do give you a ton of fries with the combo. The chicken sandwich was pretty salty and it was so greasy the bottom bun was soaked in the container. We also got wings. 13$ for 10 bone in. Late last night we ordered food from Wingstop in Freehold. We called the number and an AI program took our order, repeated it back to us, and then sent the order to the store to make. I went and picked the food up. When I got home and opened it, it was completely wrong. After calling the store and getting the "manager" on the phone, things went downhill fast from there. After telling her that our order was wrong, we didn't get the customary, "I apologize for that" or " We can issue a refund or remake your food for you the way you wanted it ", which is Customer Service 101. We got, " Well that is what the ticket said and that's what we made. You have to realize you are speaking to a robot so it may be wrong sometimes. " I couldn't believe that was the answer we received from a food establishment where the customer should ALWAYS be right. I am the Director of Dining at a senior living facility and that is the FIRST thing we teach our servers when they start. At this point my friend who was on the phone with her was getting irate because of the pure ignorance this manager was projecting. He started yelling and said he was coming up there to get a refund and hung up. I told him I would go and handle it because he was too upset. So,I took the food that was wrong with me and went there. When I walked in, the manager saw me and recognized who I was. I said I came in place of my friend and i would like either a refund or the right order made. The cook said, " I wish he would have come here". She still went on about how the ticket didn't say what we were telling her we ordered and kept showing me the receipt. I told her I am not leaving here without the money or the right food. She told me she had to call her general manager. I told her to please do. She got off the phone with him and said to me," I am going to remake the food for you. The only thing is that you weren't charged for the 2 blue cheese, so you will have to pay for that." We moved to the area from Texas where Wing Stops are plentiful and drove 35minutes to try this one! We had previously tried the one in Toms River which was just okay. This one was the best we have had in a long time including when we were in Texas. Fries cooked and seasoned perfectly, perfect cook and sauce on the wings and friendly staff. Will definitely return. Also wanted to mention that the woman I'm assuming is the manager or shift manager (black woman with braids) was phenomenal, extremely friendly and attentive and I saw her wash her hands SO MANY TIMES. I love that. She definitely deserves high praise! My husband used to work at WingStop as a teen and is pretty critical of them now but he only had praises for this location! read more

I went there with a buddy of mine. He gave it 9 out of 10 then changed it to a 10 out of 10 he was being generous but the place was very good for what it is. Coming here was the worst food experience I've had in my entire life. I waited a half hour for 8 wings. The girl with the red wig was an absolute animal, the worst personality I've ever seen in a person. She was putting her hands in her mouth and touching people food. I was so disgusted I asked her to wash her hands after putting them in her mouth and she gave me the worst attitude and told me she didn't when I watched her do it multiple times. The older black man doing the wings was very friendly when the customers walked in, but then started flipping out cursing in the back to the girl with the red wig and then came back out to the front like nobody just heard him yelling and cursing. I used a napkin to wipe my hands and there is no garbage in the store at all, they told me to stuff the napkin in a little stainless steel cup they had sitting on the counter where they had soda cup lids and straws. On top of all of this, I ordered 5 bone in wings and 4 tenders. What I got was 5 boneless wings and 3 tenders.
