I read reviews prior to coming to this location, since it's about 8 minutes from my house. I read that it was a dirty location, and I must agree. Counting our table that we left our trays at, there were 11 tables that needed to be cleaned. Were they busy? Not at all, someone could've tended to the tables. Especially the guy (worker) that had JUST arrived to "work", he was there for about 10 mins, and after that he kept coming in and out from where the workers are at (like the kitchen area) Had some wings with him, a drink, and it was as if he was trying to come out and eat at one of the tables, because he kept coming out with his plate and drink. Not only that, the workers that were there had this attitude to them, walked like they could do whatever they wanted, spoke like it too. One of the workers (he was black) asked a young (black) couple if everything was alright, and that was the only table he chose to spoke to, which I thought was very one-sided. And yes, I had to mention that, because as a worker, you cater to everyone, not only whom you choose to. Wingstop has surely disappointed me the more and more I come. I ordered two batches of wings: Hot Buffalo and Lemon Pepper. I remember a couple years ago when I ordered Lemon Pepper, they were succulent and satiated your hunger so much. The batch of lemon pepper I had was dry... no succulence. It wasn't even delightful. I was happy to hear that they were building a Wingstop in Fontana... that was until I tried the food. I dinned in recently and I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone. Food: What immediately was a downer is that they do not serve any kind of alcohol at this location. Why? I've been to other locations that serves alcohol. As disappointing as that was, I can live without alcohol. The food itself was just kind of meh. Seriously nothing special for the price. My group ordered three different types of wings (Teriyaki, BBQ and original) and none really convinced me to come back. The wings themselves weren't small, so that's a plus. The sauces weren't anything special at all. Quite possibly the oddest thing were the french fries. They had a great flavor, but the texture was too soft, and felt like it needed to be cooked for a little bit longer. Atmosphere: It seems that they were trying to have a more sports bar feel, but it falls short. Signage is dull, the TVs are on, but the inside is dead silent (One reason is because there were no patrons; usually an indicator of a failed establishment). It just had a boring demeanor. I will say that the tables and floors were kept clean. What was weird though is that I seen no trash cans at all! I felt weird just leaving my trash on the table. What I also didn't like is that there were no napkins except a giant paper towel roll kept on the counter. The bathrooms were kept clean despite the tagging, I blame that more on the locals than anything. Gotta love Fontana. I didn't like the idea of no locks on a single toilet/urinal bathroom. I believe the bathroom locks behind you, but still uncomfortable nonetheless. Staff: I actually had a positive experience with the staff, which is likely why I decided to leave the two stars. They were helpful and patient when we asked questions. I can also appreciate staff that is willing to joke with me rather than forcing a smile. As I mentioned earlier, everything was kept clean. Price: If you are going to ask your customers to pay a higher price, they least you can do is deliver. Wingstop has failed to keep my attention, failed to deliver a high quality product and failed to provide staff with a business to be proud of. I work hard for my money, and quite frankly I am insulted with the price I paid for the product that was given. Overall: I don't blame the staff, I don't blame the managers/supervisors; I blame the chain and the owners for failing to deliver on a potentially great product. I am a firm believer in the phrase, "you get what you pay for," definitely not in this case. Let me first start off by saying how extremely disappointed I am in management at this location. I left the Rialto location because of the lack of effort in team members to get work done. It appears that this location has also been infected with bad work ethic. I placed an online order at 7:59pm on 11/27/17 and got to the store at 8:14pm. Bonita Gomez was the lead at the register and she gave me attitude the moment I walked in and said I had a pick up. When trying to give her change, she gave me an attitude and said it was too late because she already entered it the dollar amount. I'm aware that online orders won't get dropped down until they are paid for. She never once told her other team members I had paid for my food. Nor she did mark it on the ticket for them to see. The staff gave out 4 walk in orders and 2 pick up orders in the 30 mins I waited. When I finally approached the counter at 8:43pm, they went to look at the tickets and when they didn't see my ticket, they proceeded to make my food (30 mins after I paid). The two staff members in the back told Bonita she didn't mark it and she proceeded to laugh about it. This is poor leadership and customer service. When she handed me my food, she briefly opened up the box with wings, then closed it. She did this to other customers and when asked to see the wings, she replied that she already had with an attitude. Meanwhile she put dirty trays and trash on the same counter food was being served on and given to other customers. This is poor hygiene for such a fast-paced restaurant.
