Reviewing Wingstop based on my last two visits, at two different locations. For the location at 1285 Broadway, service offered by Aida was excellent! Courteous and friendly. This location had a clean dining room at the time of my visit with plenty of seating available. Now to the food. Both times I've visited Wingstop (other location off E. H St in Chula Vista), there has been zero wow factor from the food. Flavors are meh and the texture of the wings are just average. I've ordered both traditional wings and tenders. The only item I really enjoy are the fries as they seem to be consistent. I can confidentially say that I can find above average wings elsewhere. Thank you for the great service Aida! read more

Wingstop,, this one as far as customer service goes is my favorite. Wingstop is one of the newer popular wing spots the kids love & I see why. I really like their meaty wings & they have the best ranch of any wing place ever! Yes I said ever & don't sleep on their little seasoned corns, they're delicious especially dipped in ranch. Fries tho I'm not a big fan, prices are ok look for the deals. As far as the food goes most of all the Wingstops is good & consistent on flavor. My problem with this company is the customer service on almost all of them. This one has good friendly service the speed & time can be hit or miss at times considering how busy it is but better than the other ones I've been too. Other Wingstops have bad customer service, they hire ghetto or ratchet workers who don't care & show it in their service. Im pretty sure this is the best wingstop in the Chula Vista area. I went there one with my friend. I waited in line for a little bit but im not going to lie, it was a little busy so I understand. But when it was our turn in line, the staff was friendly and gave me clear instructions on how to order it, how many sauce flavors come with the meal, and what sides/sauces come with it. He gave me an approximate time and it seemed accurate. When I opened the bag, it smelled hot and ready, no little Cesar's. The wings were bussin and the deal was good! You could walk in and say you are any of the names on the wall and they will give you the food. I call to complain and nothing is dealt with. First off, I Wasn't greeted by cashier. Her greeting was "did I already help you?" My order was supposed to be ready at 6:40, and at 7:00 we were still waiting. They never called my name when the food was ready so who knows how long our food was sitting on the shelf, another customer had to ask about our order (in Spanish) because she knew we were waiting there longer than her and her name was called before mine. We discovered our order of large fries was missing AFTER we drove 15 minutes back home. I called to let the store know about our missing fries and the girl that answered the phone was rude (I assume it was the same girl at the register) We drove back another 15 minutes to the store to pick up our missing fries and had to wait in line and wait for the fries. For being "newly made" why were they just warm and soggy? I asked for a manager and the cashier said there was "no manager". When I turned around to leave, the ghetto employees were all laughing so I came back into the store and asked who was in charge and she said "nobody" I asked for the manager's name so I could call tomorrow, and she said she couldn't give me that information, but she wanted to write down my name. Why did she need to know my name and I can't have the manager's name?? She said to just come back tomorrow morning to speak with a manager. Everything about this experience tonight was frustrating and disappointing. Needless to say I will NEVER come back to this location EVER! This is my first bad yelp review and hopefully last. I was curious and had to look up the most recent reviews. I'm not crazy and it'll probably help. Ordered @ 11pm this location closes at 2:30 AM sat night I was taken aback at what my friend and I discovered when we opened up our VOODOO FRIES at home. It's a Saturday I just assumed the location was running low on supplies - I worked in fast casual fast pace restaurant environments and food industry-so I know how it is. When my friend ate some of the top layer of voodoo fries (pictured u can see through to the second layer) 3-4 bites, he realized the Large was not Larging. compared to Larges at other locations we've been to, this location was on the skinnier side. A light layer of sauce on top- opposite to what we're used to , a sparse layer of overcooked fries, a weird thick layer of CAJUN SPICE SEASONING, and another dry layer of overcooked fries on bottom This locations was just DRY, and the layering of the fries with Cajun spice was oddly placed Kind of like it was as meant to be HIDDEN. the way it was placed -out of sight- on top of dry fries, then another dry layer of fries on top of the seasoning- but the seasoning didn't reach the sides it was only in the center - kind of being ENCASED by the fries- predetermined, then 'COVERED' with light layer of sauce. mind, you, there was no Cajun seasoning on top so we just thought it was normal. Until we started DIGGING through the fries. Like i said I'm in food service, when u know, u just know. Just bc you're running low on fries- does NOT mean they need to be overcooked. Everything looked and tasted intentionally wrong with these fries. The manager needs to either have them toss their fries more, have more sauce for top sauce prepped, or have them retrained to NOT do to go orders crappy, just because we won't check it as often since it's a Togo order and not a dine in where we're more likely to open it up in-house and have it remade if it IS a mess up. Or man to man- just try to not take ur bad day out on someone's who's "just ordering" - by making something overly spicy that, that customer did not specify to make hotter than what it originally supposed to be- and hide it within the food. This is mostly winded because this looked very intentional. And looked like it was meant to HURT someone by adding waaay more spice than needed and HIDING it- plus the overall INTENDED quality. not only does it make your location look bad, it's dangerous ;and could hurt someone. MOD, talk to your closing shift on SAT 12/22/24 My friend ended up not finishing it, cus that ish was toooo spicy and dry. We order these all the time at other locations. We honestly don't know what we did since the order was via the app. So no personal contact was ever made besides pickup. And the overall layout of the fries was very ODD. Last picture shows the crazy ahh layer of season left- it's not like that at other locations we never have that much seasoning left over and on fries either The pictures are kinda ahh bc my friends tried to mix it to make it better to eat but I stopped him so I could take a picture BUT IF I COULD GO BACK IN TIME AND SEND THE PIC OF THE WEIRD AHH LAYER OG CAJUN SPICEI WOULD LOL. Ordered Original barbecue over the phone for the hundredth time, only to get it Korean BBQ for the first time ever. I call over the phone with the food still untouched after intial bite and discovery of wrong flavor, "Can't do anything about it, took too long to callback, sorry." Okay... I go in person ASAP cause isn't the customer supposed to be right? I ask for a supervisor as soon as I walk in but was then told by the same young girl who inputted my order wrong over the phone 30 minutes ago that they just left on their lunch break. Okay... So I ask her and her coworkers around her who's next in charge. Right away fellow coworkers start pointing fingers to the young cashier girl at the very front with a dark braid and visor as the on duty supervisor, while the "other supervisor who just went on lunch" is off duty. The same girl i'm speaking too, the same girl who just told me the supervisor just left to lunch, and yes the same young girl who didn't input my order with the right flavor, even after I tried correcting her right after she repeated back my order over the phone initially. "No, not Korean bbq, original bbq please." Is exactly what I told her. Her explanation ultimately WORD FOR WORD was, "It's cause to us (Wingstop) Korean bbq is our Original bbq, just like how our buffalo isn't called buffalo, it's called Original Hot."... yeah I immediately just gave up, told her that this is literally the only time Original bbq has ever turned out Korean bbq for me. I told her I was sorry, that it's my fault and that i'll order the food right next time, and thank you. I left my food on the counter for them to keep and throw away. Walk out... bruh... Never even spoke to or saw this supposed "on lunch supervisor"... I want to start off by saying the girl working the register was super sweet. This is the 2nd time I've gotten food to go and have been given parcooked French fries. To make matters worse looks like I got a whole 1/3 of a potato for a fry. I get that they get very busy but maybe Management needs to have more staff on around the dinner rush. Probably the best wingstop. Our order is always correct. Fries are fresh unlike other wingstops. We pick up our order and check before we leave the establishment to assure our order is entirely there and correct. That way you avoid any issues. If an item is missing we simply tell them and they fix it with no issues. The food always tastes good. No issues for me here! read more

We went to ask about our food and a refund because at this point it was ridiculous. So when we asked for a refund, the attitudes began from the staff! They were mad and rolling their eyes and didnt want to give us a refund.
