Maribelle provided great customer service by knowing the menu really well. I originally ordered 3 meals but she recommended the family pack which allowed 3 different sauce options and it saved me $5. Always appreciate it when the team members know their stuff. read more

I've been to the National City Epic Wings quite a few times this year because I love their wings and breadsticks. The bone in lemon pepper wings are so bomb because it retains that crunchy skin and I can dip it with the medium buffalo sauce. The mango habanero sauce is sweet, sticky and not too spicy. It's my favorite sauce that they have right now. The wings are always fried fresh and crispy. I love how I can grab a meal with hot breadsticks and a soda for under $15! That's a sweet deal! Something unique about Epic Wings is that: 1. they have white rice, which my Asian heart loves. 2. the breadsticks are so buttery, soft and fresh The staff here is always amazing! Shoutout to Monica S., Diego and Diego #2. The girls in the front are also always super sweet, friendly and have positive energy. Overall, 10/10 I would highly recommend! read more

I come here all the time to get my wings n things fix. They have the best breadsticks and ranch in all the land and their wings are sauuuuucy. I always order to-go and the top sauces are mild, honey bbq, and garlic Parmesan. The service is about standard for any fast food dining spot and it's always loud in here with families and teenagers dining in. It's not that bad if you wanna dine in, but I just take it to my home like 5 mins away. read more

Epic Wings is always a hit! I ordered the mango habanero chicken fries meal. I loved it. It's not too spicy. Great portion and quality. Also, their ranch is so good. It's not watery like at some other places. Restaurant was clean and service was friendly. Try if you haven't already! read more

We had a a great experience at Epic Wings!! The food was delicious and the service felt like family. The staff was patient as we decided what to order and even provided their favorite sauces as recommendations. If you're getting the classic chicken wings or the strips, the flavor and quality is great! They are crispy with a juicy inside, and the right amount of sauce. It's not too soaked in sauce like other places. I highly recommend getting their breadsticks! They are warm and fresh, and best dipped into their ranch. Epic Wings in National City is a great local spot! We'll definitely be coming back! read more

Is there an option for no stars? Ordered our food online(no problem) made it to the location and saw there was a long line so I went to the side to ask for my online order and was told that we needed to stand in line to pick up our food. (Wow, just give me my food before it gets cold) defeats the purpose of ordering online which is frustrating because there was about 5 workers(3 cashiers, who knows what the other 2 were doing) so there was no efficiency how to handle customers who ordered online. On top of the already bad experience - they got my order wrong, my food was not warm. So if you like terrible experience, not receiving your correct order and cold food. Then this is the place for you. DO BETTER. read more

Pretty straightforward spot. I mainly go for the chicken fries--they're tender and the best thing on the menu. Everything else is just okay, but it works when you want something quick. read more

My gripe: If only they had just stayed Wings and Things. Way back when, I'd get 5 strip combos, and the bread sticks were always buttered and salted. And to find out the "Epic" to their Epic Wings was just about branding and decor... sheesh. Okay now that that's out of the way, this chicken joint has some pretty delicious strips. The chicken is almost always tender and juicy, and the bread sticks are usually pretty fresh tasting. Today's takeout visit was pretty solid, 3.5 stars. What was good: The strips were flavorful and juicy The blue cheese was cold and delicious The garlic mild wings had some nice, crispy edges Customer service What went okay or worse: One of the celery pieces was brown on one end Most of the bread sticks, 4/6, were dry, and appeared unbuttered and unsalted, resulting in flavorless sticks of dough. The employee who answered the phone was on their game, and provided excellent customer service- THANK YOU! If only I had gotten your name to give you a shout out. EW is not the go-to that W&T was, but in a pinch, they'll probably do you a solid. Thanks to the team at EW for providing a filling meal. read more

Epic Wings - Split the garlic Mild, and BBQ Hot strips. They were hot and tasty. Had to mix the BBQ Hot strips because they weren't tossed in both. - Chicken Wings Near Me - National City, California

I've come to this location several times and they never disappoint with their food and their service. Every time I walk in, I am greeted by the cashiers and the place is always clean and very welcoming. I wanted to try something new on my last visit so I asked for a sample of the sauce and they gladly provided it for me. Even when it gets busy, I can tell the food is made with a lot of effort and attention. The quality and freshness of the food are well worth the wait. I LOVE THE CHICKEN FRIES! I only wish they had Dr. Pepper as an option on their soda fountain. read more

I like the breadsticks. Tasty breadsticks. I like the ranch too. Yummy ranch. The prices are good too

They had a great 420 Special today, buy one Single Meal and get one free. Single meal is either 6 wings or 4 tenderloin strips with the sauce of your choice, veggies & dressing, and 2 hot breadsticks for $11.95. This was an awesome deal! I have been supporting this chain since they started at SDSU (Montezuma Rd. & El Cajon Blvd). The Sacco Family daughter worked there and she was very cool. The reason we gave 2 stars is that we placed our order in the app at this location at 6:21p. Order ready time given: 7:01p. Got there at 6:45p, parking was horrible, got into store 6:53p, and there was a crowd of 35-40 people. Many in Padres Jerseys because the game started at 6:40p. A lady next to me in line says, "Did you get a text? That's how you know your order is ready..my order was supposed to be ready 40mins ago, so they are about 40mins behind..." I then ran into another lady who told me the same. Then I went back to may car to wait for my text. After 10mins, I went back in to ask about my order. The man verified that they would text me when it was ready and that they were 90mins behind. Finally about 57mins into my wait, I went back in to check again, and the man verified it was almost ready. The staff was SUPER patient and kind. There were some REALLY RUDE CUSTOMERS yelling but the staff kept their cool and worked the line down. Finally, at 8pm, I got a text saying my order was ready! Went to the front, told her it was my name she waa calling and she replied, "last name" and that Pissed me off...just ask for my card I ordered with, don't ASK ME TO YELL MY LAST NAME BACK TO YOU WITH 30 people I don't know in the restaurant...SUPER not okay. Got our food and brought it home. Both orders are SPICY hot versions of what we ordered...unpalatable for us... So, 1/2 star for the deal, 1/2 star for polite staff, 0 stars for wait time, 0 stars for food quality, 0 stars for the unorganized process, 0 stars for cold and non buttery breadsticks and 0 cold strips. Great deal, but I will not come back to this location. They had 4 cooks, 6 staff at counter, and they DID NOT EVEN OFFER FREE FOUNTAIN DRINKS FOR THOSE OF US WHO WAITED OVER AN HOUR...This is TOTALLY NOT the Sacco Family business I knew. read more

Love their wings! Service is great every time. It's a very clean environment with TV's for those who want to dine in! Bring the family!!

Placed an order online and when I arrived, there was a long line. So I figured that line was to place orders. Asked an associate about having placed an order online and they said I still had to wait in the entire line, even though I paid in advance and was just there to pick up. Their overall process flow for ordering and picking up could use improvement. Once I finally got through the line and then got my order and got home, the food was barely lukewarm. Not impressed at all with this place from the service to the food. Nothing about this experience has me wanting to come back again. read more

I went here around 3pm, on super bowl Sunday 2026. Even in the hectic, chaotic, busiest time of the day, all of the staff were very nice, patient, helpful and efficient. The only bad thing was, that they weren't offering to purchase fries today, maybe cuz they needed all of the fryers to make the wings. But besides that, they were very nice and had a efficient, organized system to handle the craziness of orders, for super bowl Sunday. Good job. read more

Very good service and food was great! I've been to the wings in Escondido before, but this location has been my favorite so far. Food is hot bread is soft and buttery, couldn't ask for more.!The employees here are top notch, I can tell they enjoy working here and they do a really good job of staying on top of service even when it's busy! My go to place for wings. Not only do I get the best food but the best experience. I won't go to any other location than the one in National City. The wings are always freshly made, don't even get me started with their breadsticks. I won't eat breadsticks from any other place if it's not from here. After a long day of work I was craving some wings. I always order the same thing #3 flats only, mild sauce, no ranch/blue cheese. The food here is delicious but I would like to highlight the amazing customer service I received. The cashier was very friendly and took my special order with all my request. I'm not too keen on spicy food so I usually get the mild strips but the flavor is always on point.
