I was set on ordering a classic double cheeseburger when a Monte Cristo sandwich drifted past my table on the way to another. I was mesmerized and needed to know the name of that sandwich immediately, so I made my way over to the couple who ordered it and asked if it was good! The woman simply told me restaurants that make Monte Cristo's (in general) are hard to find, and THIS is one of her favorite places on the planet to get one. ENOUGH SAID!!! I must admit I still spent the next few minutes wrestling back-and-forth over ordering it or the burger that I originally came for, but in the end, I was extremely pleased that I chose the Monte Cristo! It is now one of my new favorite things to order. Every year on yelp I declare my favorite new food find, and I'm pretty certain this is going to be my winner for 2026. Everyone in our group also enjoyed their meals which included shotgun wings (5 stars), strawberry quinoa salad, Philly, cheesesteak, chicken salad, a veggie pizza and chicken tacos. It was three of our four guests first visit, but they promised it wouldn't be their last.
