Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The traditional wings were AWESOME! They were fried crispy and the house-made buffalo medium tasted terrific. I will definitely return and would strongly recommend!

The Good: Staff friendliness - The guy at the counter was super friendly and it felt genuine. Just the type of person you want representing your restaurant. Sauce - I got the basic Buffalo sauce for my first try and it was very good. I was told it's made in-house. Fries - They were outstanding! Fresh cut, lightly breaded and thick. Atmosphere - Very nice, but could use some more space. They did a great job with the space they have, but don't expect to get a seat. The Bad(ish): Wait - Took about 25 minutes, but it was fresh and tasty Sauce Options - You can't get two different sauces if you get 10 wings, which can be done at many other wing restaurants, so I was limited to trying only 1 flavor. Wings - They were a little soggy and could have been more crisp. I'll ask for well done next time. Online Ordering - The website says you can order online but when I tried it would not work so I had to order takeout onsite. Neutral: Price - I wouldn't say it's a super good deal, but it won't break the bank. Overall, I really enjoyed the food and the positives definitely outweighed any negatives. It's ALMOST to the amazing level, with the sogginess of the wings keeping it from 5 stars, but I would go 4.5 stars if Yelp allowed it. It is better than any other wing restaurant in BG and I'm looking forward to trying other sauces in the future.

The spinach and artichoke dip was pretty good too. I had the Thai Pasta Salad with added grilled shrimp as my entrée. I can't say I've seen pasta salad on many menus, especially as an entrée. It was interesting but I felt like it was super salty, and the same with the added shrimp. I didn't have anything to drink, but the happy hour drink prices are pretty good and they have specialty cocktails. My coworkers and I agreed that we felt like the food was too salty and heavy, and that was our biggest gripe. I'd still come back to drink or watch a game on the many TVs here.

What I noticed first was how they charge you for every little thing like blue cheese celery which should come with chicken wings anyways. I could not believe how greasy and disgusting tasting the chicken wings were. I ordered all flats. I ordered five mind you. I got two drumsticks in there. Super super greasy turned my stomach I kept squeezing him with the napkin to get most of the grease out. My daughter loved her boneless wings and my husband said the hamburger was huge and he thought it was delicious.. We also had ordered mozzarella sticks that were delicious, deep-fried mushrooms, which were really good and my husband got onion feathers, but in my opinion, the dip had broken and it didn't look good at all, and I didn't think it tasted good either. I gave it two stars because the waitress was so good and the food came out really fast and hot. .

If you turn onto St.Charles St., just keep driving. Ignore the industrial buildings until…read moreyou arrive at this small, innocuous-looking building that is this Cuban restaurant & bar. If I were to remove a star, it would be because of the exterior. But I'm not going to remove a star. Once again, I come to an ethnic restaurant that looks questionable on the outside. But as we all know, those are the restaurants that have the BEST food. So I entered the restaurant, bravely and was greeted immediately by a very friendly server, who offered me to sit in either the dining or the bar area. I chose the dining area because it had more light. The bar area was way too dark for my preference, but she explained that the state law required them to keep it dark (because it's a bar area). The bar area has seating along the bar itself, and at a few tables in the area. Plus, (and it's a big plus for me) there is a pool table and and music plays all the time. :-) So I tried the drink soursop (guanabana) which is a tropical fruit that tastes like a combination of strawberries and apples. I really enjoyed it! Try it on ice because it tastes better when it is cold, per the recommendation of my wonderful server. As an appetizer, she brought to me fried onion rings with an amazing creamy garlic sauce for dipping. I am ashamed to say that I inhaled those onion rings! I dipped each one dipped in the flavorful garlic sauce. For dinner I ordered the eight. The pork team sliced with caramelized onions on top it I could not believe how tender and flavorful the pork was. Just amazing scrumptious! It melted my mouth. Eating it along with the congri was just a delightful experience. The dish came with a side salad (chopped red cabbage over sliced tomatoes) that was nothing special , but it looked very pretty. Foolishly, I ordered a side on yucca. It comes with warm queso on the side. I tried the yucca dipped in the queso AND dipped in the creamy garlic sauce (that came with the appetizer onion rings). While I liked both flavors, I preferred the garlic sauce with the yucca (I'm just a sucker for garlic). As I said earlier, the flavors of the pork, caramelized onions and congri were the stars of this dish. The tasty food, efficient service and the friendly owner (who visited my table and talked to me while I waited for my food), almost makes me wish I lived here so that I could partake at my convenience. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. If you are ever close to here, you should try it also.

When I walked in, I was greeted by what looked like a young teenager at the register. He was polite, but when I asked whether the wings were breaded or naked (since I'm trying to stick to a restrictive diet), he wasn't sure and couldn't give me a clear answer. That was a little surprising since it seems like something the staff should be familiar with. I ordered the 8-piece buffalo wings and specifically asked for no fries or bread. I was given a table place card and a drink cup, and everything moved along pretty smoothly after that. However, when my food was brought to the table, it still came with fries and bread--both of which I couldn't eat. Not a dealbreaker, but definitely disappointing since I had asked ahead of time. Service overall was just okay--not terrible, not great. The wings themselves were actually really good, which redeemed the experience a bit. I might give them another try, but next time I'll probably double-check my order when it arrives.

Also, for a thin crust pizza, I found this pizza was a little thicker than what I am used to for a thin crust pizza. I would describe it as more of a hand tossed style pizza than a thin crust pizza. It was pretty good though and larger than I had anticipated for two people. The delivery was prompt and the delivery person left it in front of our hotel restaurant as requested. I give this establishment a solid 3 1/2 stars. If I ordered again, I would opt for a medium sized considering this was probably too much for two people. Recommended!
