Price is right for their small wings. I prefer this size to the giant ones many places have started to sell - just the right mix of crispy and juicy. These are quintessential snack wings. Flavor? I tried the Louisiana and the original hot. The former is too salty for my liking, and lacks any real stand-out flavor. The others, with a more traditional cayenne-based hot sauce, are just slightly peppery, a little tangy from vinegar, and also saltier than I'd have liked. There's seating for 15-20 indoors, and the woman who took my order was almost insanely friendly. They make their wings to-order, so expect a 15-minute wait, or call ahead. Meh, I've experienced better is a perfect articulation of this place. I went to get wings on New Years Eve. I'll grant that that is one of the busiest times of the year for a Wing Place, particularly with the Peach Bowl in town featuring two highly ranked out of town teams. But the wings were undercooked -- not like kill you undercooked but like not crispy undercooked and that ruined the experience for a place that is primarily a wing place. I ordered a 10 piece buffalo wing, with the bone. It took forever to come out and it was not at all clear when I would get this little order. In fairness, there were folks who had ordered wings into the hundreds. However, when I went to eat the wings, they were soft on the outside. That's concerning, given that wings are fried food. The taste wasn't there and that's a problem, given that the Publix serves excellent fried chicken. Plus there are no shortage of BBQ Wing places in Atlanta. JR Crickets and Jamal's on Northside, just to name a couple. So there's no excuse for bad wings. The ambiance is about what you would expect. It's a place to carry out and I couldn't see sitting in to eat. If I try it again, it will only be because the rare panging for Buffalo Wings hit me and I am not willing to travel to Jamals or JR Crickets. I have always loved Wingstop wings and give the franchise 5 stars, however, the service and time it took to get our food caused this location to lose a star. They pride themselves on being able to say exactly how many minutes it will take for your food to be done. For us, we were told in 14 minutes we'd have food, but in reality we didn't get our food until 20+ minutes after we ordered. My friends food was placed in a to go container and just left on the pick-up rack until she went and inquired about it. The manager did allow us to get more than the 2 flavor maximum which was nice, but I'd rather have my food quicker than the additional flavors. I'll definitely go back because I love Wingstop! I wing stop, but this one needs to step their game up! This is my second visit so I feel like I can say that they are consistent in their mediocrity. My fries are hardly seasoned and soggy. So not in line with what I am used to getting at a wing stop. And they have a funny taste to them. I definitely won't be back. The girl who took my order and checked me out was very nice but the guys they have cooking was so busy socializing that they couldn't do their job and prepare the food the proper way. I asked for sauce on the side and was told that I had to pay extra to have a small dipping cup of sauce. I've ordered my wings this way numerous times, but they said I had to pay. Happy to see a wingstop location. Always been a big fan. Their wings are solid, you get some fries, and a drink in their combo meal. I'd highly recommend. Their combo deal fills you up, and the price is really great for what you get. Also recommend going for a solid TV screens and low-key sports viewing. Being from D.C., I was eager to visit Wing Stop as I've heard great things and my GF is also a wing lover so we were both anxious to see what Wing Stop had to offer - and sadly, it wasn't much! They had a good choice of flavors though - we got garlic parm, hot, mild, honey bbq, lemon pepper wings. I do like the fact that you can get your wing flavors dry or wet and the service was also great. The customer service was very pleasant, fast and efficient. He was very helpful and had a great personality - which I love to see! (hence the two stars) The flavors were good and so was the blue cheese, like they have a house blue cheese (and that, I can appreciate) but the chicken just lacked flavor and was dry. I ordered the small Combo meal, and it was MORE than enough to satisfy me, the fries all cooked fresh (just like the authentic ones that have at Five Guys Burgers). Don't even bother typing it in the notes because nobody reads the notes ... they just see what they want to see.........,,,,I do not like bone-in wings from wingstop!!! In my opinion they do not taste good to me ... they are humongous/super human steroid wings!! With hardly any sauce (which is oil based) !! No matter what wingstop u go to this is the forte for all of them!! The wings are not cooked crispy like I asked many times before!! My experience was extremely poor. I called the location at 11:15 yet got no answer after multiple calls. I then arrived at the location at 1120pm only to be told that they were no longer taking orders. By 11:30 the chairs were turned upside down on the tables and the door was locked. of course the sign on the door and all marketing items online identify the closing time as midnight. I sat outside and watched multiple customers approach the locked door attempting to get in and place orders. Surely this is not the first time, but common practice for these associates. Not only was this an extreme show of poor customer service but it was also a huge hit to the bottom line when considering the big picture. You take a minute and do the math!! That number is HUGE! The team closing the doors 45 minutes early, turning away 4 customers paying an average of $10 each every 2 minutes, until the close of business at midnight, seven days a week, 52 weeks/year. Poor customer service + poor management= customers and revenue lost! I will not return. read more
