Safety and well being are at the top of the priority list at Stepping Stones. The communication is great as we receive daily reports on what our child learned, how she ate, and what her disposition was for the day. We also receive monthly newsletters announcing any upcoming activities, learning goals, or celebrations. Each day when I pick her up, our child is happy and excited. That probably says it all. He used to go to a larger Montessori preschool but I felt he wasn't getting a lot of personal encouragement. For example, we're a bilingual family so we'll speak Korean at home and English outside and he just wasn't really picking up at English at all before. He became so fluent here, and it's so fun to discover what he's learned! It really feels like a family atmosphere and she really lets each kid thrive in their own way. Logistically it's amazing as well - breakfast, lunch, snacks all provided. The hours are very flexible, as is the different care options (half day, full day, certain days a week, etc). Our kid has tried so many different foods here (I learned he really likes green beans). I'd highly recommend it here, and if you live nearby it's actually amazing for busy parents.

Seems like their students are all well behaved and respectful. My daughter's teacher even sends me emails here and there with updates regarding her day and behavior which is another stress reliever. When we started the process the very beginning of her junior year, we just wanted our daughter to know she had options. We knew all the challenges she faced might mean a gap year or junior college would be best in the long run, but we wanted to ensure she had options--and Future Stars helped her see she does in fact have excellent options! She was accepted at all 6 colleges and universities she applied to and was even offered merit scholarships at two of them. She will be attending her number one choice university in the fall.
