I had a business luncheon at Wings North. The burger was OK but the bartender (who was also the cook) did not know how to cook the burger to the right temp. The place reminded me of an up scale hunting shack. However, if I wanted, I could have gone out and shot a pheasant or quail, because this place is also a hunting club. The staff was friendly. My husband and I bought a groupon to shoot crossbow. Not what we expected! We got three arrows to share and one bow, then lost two and broke one arrow. Maybe it was bad luck but we got charged 10 bucks per arrow. Totaled over 50 bucks for about twenty minutes. A couple at the bar was pretty excited about clay pigeons, so maybe try those instead. read more

AMAZING ESTABLISHMENT!! The atmosphere was so much fun! We went for a benefit for a family member there and had a great time. Not only is it a Hunt Club, but a great restaurant and bar. The owners were amazing! The food was great and very reasonable. The staff was friendly and made a drink for me that they had never heard of, but together we had a great time doing it. The people at the bar were all involved in making the drink and afterwards we all tried it and it was amazing! We will be attending their next European shoot this month, and looking forward to it! Kudos to Chad and Alison (owners), you guys are doing a great job! I felt like we were friends when I left there!!! See you guys in a couple of weeks! read more

Today was my first time visiting Wings North Pheasant Club in Pine City, MN. I called prior to arrival to get some general info on the fees, directions and if they would allow my 5 year old son to attend and spectate the hunt. When we arrived at the Clubhouse, we were greeted by Chad. Right away he made us feel right at home and very comfortable. He was very polite and kind. I was a little weary about taking my son to a hunt, let alone inside a local clubhouse full of grumpy club members with very little tolerance for children. That is not the case here at Wings North. My son must of felt like a young celebrity with all the attention he received. As far as the hunt went, It was a lot of fun. The pheasants flew very well and the club offers an onsite bird processing table and sink. When hunt is over, I highly recommend dropping in and getting some lunch inside the clubhouse. He staff is very friendly and it's such an awesome place to hang out and talk hunts. We really enjoyed ourselves at Wings North. Thank you Chad for making our first time experience so pheasant, I meant pleasant. LOL, Can't wait to get back again!!!! read more

We visited this vendor using a Living Social coupon for 200 sporting clays and lunch from the restaurant 1st issue and most importantly- the restaurant was not open so our only option for lunch was a frozen bar pizza. The coupon was good for a burger, wrap or sandwich in the restaurant. 2nd issue - there are 10 stations in the course. 3 of those stations did not work at all or weren't loaded on our 1st round. then on the 2nd time around the course our trigger stopped working so we were only able to use 4 of the stations. If the employee there was able to go out and fix the issues all would have been fine but all he could do was say I'm sorry. to give him credit he did let us shoot a round of trap and even that did not work well as the thrower would periodically have several seconds delay. I could never recommend this business to anyone and will not go back again for sporting clays. I've not shot alot of sporting clays but the course is pretty unimaginitive (what we could actually shoot) with mostly either left or right crossers with a single thrower on each station. read more

We purchased a groupon for a group of 10. Worst experience for this group, was excited before but when we arrived our excitement quickly turned to dissapointment. We had 12 in our party, they gave us one crossbow and one arrow and had to rotate through. After about an hour each person had the chance fire the crossbow 4 times. The pizza was frozen inexpensive and tasted like cardboard. I will reccomend to anyone that they do not go, huge waste of money. read more

I was extremely disappointed working with Chad and Wings North. I booked my wedding back in the beginning of the year and just a few months before my big day they canceled on me, causing me to start my entire wedding planning over. Both the ceremony and reception were suppose to be there and they were providing all my alcohol and food. The reason for the cancelation was because others wanted that weekend. Chad decide to go with them even though I had went through all the steps to reserve that weekend that he requested. When I booked through Wings North I originally wanted a different day but it was full so I changed it to what worked with them, and this still happened. Chad was very dishonest and a very unprofessional business owner. Since this situation I have had many people tell me about the terrible service they have received at Wings North, I am just a concerned bride that does not want anyone to have to go through what I did. read more
