No fancy drinks or decor, just good wings, not huge and stuffed with whatever growth hormones like what the other guys serve you. Fries are fresh potatoes, curly cut, and delicious. Adding garlic spice to parmesan was good. They try to accommodate if you ask for all flats or drums. Combo only comes with 3 celery, and note that the curly fries are not seasoned. The fries are not super crispy but not soggy either. Fried mushrooms 5/5: Lightly breaded and fried small mushrooms, juicy inside. Great with the ranch sauce. Would order again. Fried pickles 4/5: These are pickle slices - not the best I've had but pretty solid. Fried mozzarella sticks 2/5: Tastes like every other fried mozzarella stick. 20 years customer for this place. Usually consistent. And I understand mistakes do happen but the most important thing is how you recover and fix it. In my case Claudia the manager REFUSED to fix a batch of bad / stale wings. She won't refund the money, she won't deliver another order, she wants me to drive 20 minutes each way to bring back the crappy/stale wings and then she will fix it. I love these wings been coming here since u was a child to the Westpark location and 290. So when I moved to Sugarland yesrs ago i was happy i didnt have to drive all the way to 290 to get my favorite wings. And westpark location shut down around 2017 unfortunately. The only reason why i put a three star review is because the amount of ranch they provide for a 10 piece is the same for a 6 piece. And of course you need more ranch when you order more wings. You shouldn't have to pay extra to get more ranch if you paid extra for wings in my opinion. My 3 star could easily go to five star for the reason mainly. We have been ordering from this location for years, and decided to give them business while the restaurant was still closed, unfortunately they had a very bad night. 2 orders, my wife and daughters, were bad and my wife only ate one while my daughter ate all of here, which led to food poisoning due to bad chicken, most likely reheated after sitting around for too long. My daughter definitely got sick from the boneless wings based on timing and when she got sick. The fries were unusually not warm as well. I don't know if they'll get our business again, which is disappointing, we usually really like their wings. I called the next day and I got some push back regarding if my daughter got sick from the wings, then she realized it was from that and promised the GM would call me, no call as of yet 2 days later. Pros: -We we're quickly seated for a party of 13 on a Monday night when the big Cotton Bowl was to be shown. -Their medium wing sauce is really zesty and the drown their wings in it (which I love)! Plus the wings stay crispy, but maybe a tad too crispy in my opinion. -I'm very picky about my ranch, and they do a good job on theirs! -Our server was really helpful in going out of his way to find us a lighter (to light our birthday cake) and making sure we had enough plates/utinsels. There were some times where we had to flag him down to get something, but I believe it had a lot to do with how busy it was (again, the football game was on and everyone was there). Cons: -We ordered mozzarella sticks and fried pickles for appetizers. In my opinion, there was just too much breading on the pickles. -It got pretty busy (as in the whole entire restaurant was packed) and I'm wondering if they should have staffed it more because they only had 3 servers. We had to wait a while on refills and the check. And again, I'm attributing that to the busy football night. Overall, an ok place. When we me and my wife first walked in we were surprised to find out no booths were part of the seating only open tables so it was a little uncomfortable as you know eating wings is a messy food. I always order the wings with hot and extra wet. I get a side of curly cue fries with a side of blue cheese. Their blue cheese is AWESOME.
