I liked this place so much that I had to get a review in the books quick! Looking for ideas for a little weekday dinner date, my dining companion suggested this place since I was going to be in the area. She came in clutch with that decision because I think I have found my favorite spot for some good Korean Fried Chicken! I don't know where this place originated, but they have quite a few locations in the states and this is one of two in the Houston area. This location is located in Sugarland in a large shopping complex with lots of parking. Inside is spacious with lots of seating and a bunch of TVs playing KPop things. It was empty when we arrived and only one other party sat down while we were there. There was a few pick up orders. Usually my mind would start wondering why it's so empty, but it was probably just a slow day because what they serve is amazing. The young lady helping us was a little shy and it was hard to get real suggestions when asked, but I was happy with my order in the end. They have items other than KFC like fish, tofu, and appetizers like fried gizzards, calamari and beef bulgogi dumplings. They were advertising a popcorn chicken special as well. As far as chicken goes, it comes in tenders, wings or drums. I'm a wing fanatic so I went that route. For sauces, they got quite a few options to choose from. There was some unfamiliar names of sauces so I had to waste the employees time trying to get a descriptions. I think adding descriptions to the menu would go a long way. For my spicy option, I went with the garlic spicy which was their second to last spicy level. For my new to me flavor, I went with the curry sauce. Remember, this is Korean fried chicken, it takes a little bit of time to be made because it twice fried. Pack your patience because the end result is well worth the wait. Between the two of us we got 4 flavors and a side of curly fries and regular fries. I will say, the prices here are pretty high. Six bucks for a regular serving of fries is a bit excessive. Ten wings with fries and a drink, tax and tip almost hit the 30 dollar mark. I knew as soon as they put our food down that I was in for a treat. We went down the line and tried each wing at the same time. Every new flavor I kept telling myself it kept getting better and better. After having them all, if I had to choose, I would say the garlic spicy was amazing with the curry a close second. The soy garlic and yangnyeom were very solid contenders too. The crunch on these wings was perfection. The wings were saucy but someone kept a crunch the whole time. They were also very meaty wings. The expensive sides were both very good too. They only have canned drinks which was a bummer. Places that serve spicy food should have fountains for refills. They didn't even offer ice. All in all, though it was a pricy wing meal, 92 Chicken has moved up as my favorite Korean Fried Chicken joint. I will most definitely be back!

I think this might be my FAVORITE Korean Fried Chicken spot!!! I've been wanting to try 92 Chicken for years. I remember when they first opened in Houston, but the location was really bad (close to W Little York & Eldridge), and they had to close down before I got the chance. I'm glad that they came back, and stronger than ever with multiple of other locations. We ordered the 5 piece drumsticks in Garlic Spicy, and the 10 pieces wings in Cheongyang and Honey Garlic. Those drumsticks are HUGE!!! And so freaking juicy omg. You can can also eat the wings clean off the bone... that's how tender and JUICY they are omg. If you like mayo (like me), you will love the Cheongyang sauce. How's the crunch? CRUNCHY. CRISPY. PERFECT. I'm not gonna name names, but at some other korean fried chicken spots, the sauce makes the skin not as crispy anymore. Not here though! like just look at the photos!!!!! The lady running the front was very patient and walked us through the menu. During our meal, she also checked up on us. The restaurant is also clean! Clean bathrooms :)

This place is our new favorite Korean fried chicken spot! The space is super clean and they had a wide selection on the menu. The staff was also kind and nice! We decided to try their 10 pieces wings, which can be split into two different flavors. The wait from when we placed our order to-go in person to receiving our order was about 20-25 minutes, but well worth the wait! We got the original and spicy garlic. Which, don't worry, it wasn't spicy! I was able to eat it even with low spice tolerance hehe. We also tried their French fries. Their flavors were so delicious and well seasoned. It was super crispy yet not dripping in grease! The French fries were thick and the seasoning is so gooood filled with herbs and not very salty. The spicy garlic definitely reminds us of bbq sauce flavor, less on the garlic side but still yummy. My favorite was original. Same herb seasoning as the fries I loved sm haha! The only thing is if you want radish, it's charged as a $1.99 side. But other than that, a solid place for us! We definitely will be back to try other flavors like the soy garlic!!

Korean Fried Chicken in Sugar Land. I ordered naked wings since all the sauces have soy. My husband ordered fried gizzards with soy garlic sauce on the side. It's hot, fresh, crispy, and so flavorful (yes even the plain is flavorful). He really enjoyed the soy garlic. The gizzards are a little more on the smaller side, but they're generous with their portion. I also heard wonderful things about the curry. I'll ask him to rate that next time. Service - the associate at the front was very courteous and accommodating. She was nice and helpful especially when I was inquiring about soy proteins. There are plenty of seating and a self-serve water station on the side. There are multiple TV's playing K-pop while you eat. The price is a slight more than typical korean fried chicken, but I expect it in Sugar Land, rent is more expensive overall. We will definitely be back for more!

Really good Korean fried chicken. Tried them for take out and dine-in For the cheese dusted fried, if you're ordering those, really recommend you eating it there. It's a world of difference in quality. They'll mention it when ordering but please be aware it'll take a little time than you probably expect for the chicken to be ready, so plan accordigmy

This is the best locally owned place for korean fried chicken! Plenty of seating and TVs with KPOP playing. The workers are always nice! I've been here multiple times, and the food always comes out hot and fresh! They have a ton of flavors to choose from, and I personally like the honey garlic the most. My vegan friend got the tofu tenders, and those were really good!! They can be coated in a sauce and fries are included. I saw that they have naked wings on the menu, which I want to try next time!

Best korean fried chicken in Houston! Vivian was very attentive and helpful with explaining the menu items. Family-friendly spot with a good amount of seating, wasn't noisy at all when I visited. Will definitely be back!

Come for the chicken--skip the rest. The fried chicken was the star of the meal: juicy on the inside, perfectly crispy on the outside, and packed with flavor. Rating was purely for the chicken. The curly fries were tasty, but the portion was disappointingly small for the price. As for the daikon, it wasn't complimentary, so we paid for some - unfortunately, it was bland and watered down, definitely not worth getting. There wasn't a lot of customers so it felt pretty empty. Service was quick.

I came here recently as this place newly opened. They are known for their Korean fried chicken. I ordered their soy garlic and some other spicy flavor. I also got their mozzarella sticks and curly fries. The service was decent for Korean fried chicken cause I know it does take a while to cook. I just wish the mozzarella stick had more of a cheese pull. The fries and the chicken was yummy. I forgot what flavors I got but I got soy garlic and a spicy flavor. The spicy one had a kick so be prepared. The radish was not complimentary and cost 1 dollars. The restaurant was very comfortable. They had booth seating and table and chair setting.

The wings here were good! We were told the most popular flavors were Soy Garlic and Spicy Garlic. Also good are Honey Garlic and Curry. For kids, Honey. If you order the 10 piece option, you can pick up to 2 flavors. We ended up trying 2 flavors for the 10 wings: Spicy Garlic and Curry. The curly fries were good! Nice and crispy and flavorful. The original chicken tenders were mediocre, not that crunchy. We'll definitely be back for more and to try more flavors!

Stopped in for lunch, Easy access off of Hwy 6. Very clean and spacious restaurant. Customer service was excellent, cashier was very friendly and very informative. We purchased a selection of wings and fried fish with sweet potato fries. Food was cooked to order and came out fresh and hot . Not one complaint. Will definitely be back. Atmosphere was so relaxing and the free cucumber/ lemon water was so refreshing. My favorite was the lemon pepper not too tart just right. Tang tang was almost a sweet heat flavor,to me the honey garlic and honey lemon pepper were just honey flavored light on anything else. Fish was just as crispy as the wings with a slight kick.

The hot buffet bar was really scarce, I mean, just fried dumplings and fries but they were refilled really slow and some never had refills. The boba bar was empty and never filled. The DIY ramen station was closed off. I tipped only because I felt like I had to, but the service was abysmal. I would come back but maybe for lunch instead of dinner. Hopefully service improves.

That said, the consistency of both service and food quality between visits can be noticeable. Service can be very slow at times, even when the restaurant isn't particularly busy. We've had issues with banchan not being brought out, grills not being turned on, and fish orders taking nearly an hour to arrive. Food quality can also be hit or miss. For example, the Cheese Crab Puffs have occasionally arrived completely cold with barely any crispiness or color, and we've had similar issues with other appetizers. My favorites are the Garlic Salmon Sashimi, Black Angus Marinated Short Rib, Wagyu Beef Belly, Black Angus Rib Finger, and Thick Cut Pork Belly. I also enjoy the Takoyaki, Crispy Tuna Rice, and Tteokbokki. There are a few dishes I would skip, including the Spicy Scallop Sashimi and Nigiri unless you enjoy very small scallops, the Baked Green Mussels, which are overly sweet, and the Prime Beef Brisket, which I've found to be tough and dry. Overall, there are plenty of dishes I genuinely enjoy here, but the inconsistency keeps this from being a place I can wholeheartedly recommend. When everything is executed well, it's a great meal, but you never quite know what kind of experience you're going to get. That being said, I tend to get good ones the majority of the time.

This place is in a new looking plaza with plenty of shops ready to rent out.

When you pickup your food, the sit down area is dark, and there isn't much of a waiting area. It looks to be run by two folks, the cook and the cashier. It is probably best to order over the app, as the one cashier is busy packing the food in the fancy packaging and dealing with the money transactions. Since it is only two people, it can be slow to get your food when it is busy. I waited an additional 20 mins from the projected time it was suppose to be done. As for the food, the miso ramen was packed in this fancy box. The box contained the soup separated from the noodles with a few side dishes. I believe this is the only vegi ramen they offer. It is nothing special. The broth is basically miso soup with soy sauce. (2 out of 5) The cold sesame noodles was better. It had more flavor. (4 out of 5) The Salt & Pepper Chicken was good (4.5 out of 5). I couldn't help eating it while in the car, as it smelled so good. The Braised Pork over rice was decent. It was cut up thick pork belly, braised in an Asian brown sauce. The flavoring was a little one sided. (3 out of 5). I'm giving this place an overall 3 stars because the food isn't something to rave about. Packaging and presentation were great, but tastes was more important to me.

I have passed by their restaurant many times, but it never occurred to me to go in until one day I was surprised to see them ranked in the top 100 ramen places nationally on Yelp! With less than 300 reviews, I was skeptical at first but was intrigued to give it a try, and I'm so glad that I did! I visited on a Friday afternoon right before New Year's and was greeted warmly by the staff inside. As I was indecisive on what to order in the ramen section, I asked the staff for suggestions. She was kind to walk me through the menu without rushing to get an order, and she mentioned that their most popular item is actually the beef noodles. That was all I needed to make a decision to try the beef noodles. While waiting for the food, I chatted with the staff and learned that the restaurant opened right before the pandemic then shifted their model to take-out only as the pandemic begin. Since then, they've tried to make use of their restaurant space to return to dine-in but it has been difficult to find reliable workers. In the interest of keeping the quality consistent and customers happy, they've decided to make sacrifices to keep the business model as is for take-out only instead of scaling up with additional staff, which is such a shame given the rent in the area is not cheap and they have such a beautiful space! When you hear "take-out only", I know what you're thinking, BUT I promise you this is the best takeout food you will ever have! The packaging is very well-designed to keep the flavors and ingredients at its finest! As I mentioned, I ordered the beef noodles, and typically noodle dishes are not ideal for takeout, but Asia Blue separates the soup from the noodles so that the noodles are not soggy, and even after half hour, the soup stayed warm and flavorful. The noodles also came paired with many mini side dishes as palate cleansers, which were a nice surprise. From my conversation with the staff, I've also learned that this is one of the rare places that truly make their broth fresh from premium ingredients! You can be sure that it's MSG free and packed with healthy nutrients, and that's a quality that you can taste. I highly recommend this place for your next ramen adventure, and I certainly will be returning again very soon to try the other menu items. :)
