I had them come out to clean two cars. The detailer was very personable and since I have back issues, I did not go immediately and examine the cars. Big mistake! One car which was hardly dirty, was cleaned well. The other smaller car still had dirt on the back seats, and the floor mats were not cleaned. When I looked on the back seat, all the cans of cleaning products (about 10 cans) were left on my back seat. I called the company and they said they would return to make the cleaning "right." I have yet to hear from them again. These two detailings cost me $330.00. What a ripoff!!! I will never use them again. I'm sure I can find some company more reliable and cheaper. read more

Original Review: I signed up for Wings Mobile's monthly detail package for my brand new truck and was initially very happy with it for the most part. After a couple months I started to notice odd scratches all over the outside of my truck bed's paint that ran in random directions and changed directions mid-scratch which confused me about where they could be coming from. Eventually I came outside while the truck was being detailed and found the technician had draped my floormats (which like most floormats have some amount of dirt or gravel in them) over the side of my truck bed with the dirty side up against the paint. This was right over where all the scratches were coming from. I told the tech and then later told Andre about the scratches and he said that he would make things right. After a few months of giving them more business while waiting for some sort of resolution, I came out after my truck had been detailed by a new technician and there were an unbelievable number of scratches along the side of my truck. I took pictures of it and immediately suspended my subscription while trying to get in touch with Andre. After a couple months I got a voicemail from him after I missed his call when I was in a meeting and have been calling and calling to get back in touch with him ever since. Its been five months of radio silence from Wings Mobile Detailing. Update Jan 22: After I posted this, Andre reached out to me immediately and was very apologetic for the scratches and for missing my communications for the last few months (he said he hadn't received my messages due to their answering service not functioning as it should which I believe). He said they would come out asap and repair the scratches for me and he never once mentioned my bad review or asked me to consider updating it. Its hard to run and grow a small business so I think the real judge of a company is how they respond when they get something wrong - on that count, so far so good. I'll update again once the scratches have been repaired. Update Jan 29: Andre got out and repaired the scratches on my truck, I have not had a chance to see them in person since my truck is at the dealership for some big warranty work. I will update again in a couple weeks once I get back out to the dealership and can see the repair work myself. read more

I recently had Wings Mobile Detailing perform a "Deluxe + Polish and Sealant" service on my truck. I am very disappointed and would not recommend them. I watched the technician as he worked from inside my residence. He soaped and rinsed the entire vehicle in 15 minutes. Naturally since he did not rinse as he went the soap dried on the truck. He was supposed to Clay Bar the vehicle; this service was not performed. The technician polished and puffed the front fender, drivers door and one side of the truck bed. The remainder of the vehicle he applied what I assume was sealant. The work performed below the chrome strip on the doors was very poor, there were insects on the front bumper when he was finished and fingerprints remained on the touch screen on the inside. I usually detail the truck myself but was unable to this fall. I should have gone to Flag Stop or Car Pool. I would have been much happier. If you have $380.00 to throw away you can hire Wings or go out and have a nice dinner and bottle of wine. read more

I requested several months for the gentleman to return to do a better job that he admitted was a rush job, and he was by himself for an SUV job. Today, I'm posting this review because he never returned after he said several times he would. Save your money, folks, you can do a better and quality job yourself. read more

First off I'd like to say that I'm posting this review for my mom (Karen Lunceford) who got her car detailed at her place of work in Mechanicsville today. She made an appointment over the phone with Wings for June 24th at 2:30pm. They never showed up so she called them around 3:45pm to ask where they were. Whoever she spoke to tried to say that she had texted them to switch the date which was in fact not true. He then apologized after "having her mixed up with another lady named Karen". They then said they'd come out Friday (today) at 12:30 to fix the problem and make things right. I'll also add that my mom selected the deluxe package priced at $100. This package included a deluxe interior detail with hard surfaces protection, fabric softeners, detail brush, vinyl conditioner as well as the exterior detail, carnauba wax, and the basics which included wheel bright, door jambs, windows, and tire protector. This package as stated on their website was suppose to be a 2 hour and 30 minute service. The guy shows up today at 11:20 to get started and left at 12:55. The guy called my mom at 12:51 saying he was done with the car and wanted some water. So she let him into her store for some water and he left right after. Shortly after he left, between customers she walked out and looked from the back angle of the car and thought it look okay since it was shinier than before the service. I came to pick up her at 3:30pm and got out to look her car over and it looks TERRIBLE. I'm livid for her, especially considering they were already skating on thin ice from the no show before. We will NEVER deal with Wings again, nor recommend them to anyone. It looks as if the car was halfway washed, there were a few vacuum marks in random areas, the door jams were not clean, dog hair still on door handles and on surface of seat, soda residue on surface of dash, windows were halfway washed, white specs were left all over the car, side mirrors were dirty, bottom of the windshield where the wipers are had dirt and leaves everywhere, and the list goes on. I don't care if you're paying $100 or $1000 for a car wash, this is unacceptable and poor work. The owner (I'm assuming) tried to make up for the no show on Wednesday by giving a discount of $15 off of the $100 fee. However even at $85, this was a lousy job done. I've been through automatic car washes that have cleaned better than whoever cleaned it today. Attached are pictures. read more

This was my first time getting my car detailed and I was really excited. I chose the deluxe full shampoo service that focused on the interior while taking care of the outside some too. A bit pricey but my car really needed it. I feel like this was not the most prepared service. I had to run out into the street at 9am to help them find my house in a not-so-difficult to navigate neighborhood. This definitely was not a big deal but contributed to my 3 star review after everything was said and done. I wasn't told that the provider would need access to a hose so I had to stop what I was doing to be called outside a handful of times help him try to access one. Eventually we discovered neither hose could reach his van so he had to use his generator. I normally wouldn't mind having to be called out of my house to help if I wasn't paying $250. The finished job was definitely an improvement from the shape my car was in previously. All the upholstery stains were taken care of. Everything definitely wasn't spotless, as this car hadn't been deep cleaned since I purchased it years ago and had been through the ringer. However, there were still some hard surfaces that hadn't been tackled entirely. I had to take some wipes to get some grit of off the cup holders Again, not a huge deal if I wasn't paying $250. The worker did inform me that he was new. I get it. Being thrown to the wolves at a new job is important in order to learn quickly. It's just too bad that this had to be the case for such an expensive service. He was a really nice and polite worker and I still tipped him 20%. The detail they provided was worth maybe $200 but they charged $575. There was still a bug back the rear window, dirt in the side door cups, and the headlight restoration was just okay. So overall the detail would've been fine if cost $200, but was overpriced at $575. read more

First time potential customer, I booked with them 7 days ago, I received two confirmation emails. My time was set for 10am to 12 noon. It is 4:01PM on the same day I was to receive my service. No Call, No Text, nothing..... I called, after sitting home all day to be told that no tech was assigned to my car and he could give me a 10% discount. Brandon, who answered the phone, said he saw my name on today's work order, but no one should up.. NO THANK YOU, first impressions are lasting. A no call/ no show is unacceptable. Not a Detailing service, but car wash. I decide to choose the company for being well ranked, both on YELP and on GOOGLE. I regret it immensely for having paid $ 250 for a service that is not from Detailer. Firstly I contacted the owner of the service to schedule a visit, this one told me that it was not necessary and just by phone could pass the values. For me, okay, I thought it was professional so I agreed. There was a delay of 1 hour of the combined time. The boy who came to wash my car disappeared with my car and came back some 3 hours later. So far so good, until I realized that the car was still dirty even after a detailing service. This made me very upset that made me contact the owner of the company. I made my complaints and was attended promptly and he informed me that he would send another team to correct the details he had pointed out. The car got much better after that other team came. However the service of this company does not compare with the detailing service, 4 days after the services I still find miss spots. So my advice and do not waste your time or your money go find another company that offers a service according to what you are paying. ----------EDIT---------- After an hour I posted this review, Andre contacted me apologized, said that the service was not done correctly and gave me back part of what I have paid. Such a disappointment! I gave Wings detailing to my husband for his birthday and told the service technician it was a birthday gift. He didn't even vacuum the trunk at all. Then he forgot he had the keys in his pocket and took off with them. Never responded to repeated calls about them and finally returned them 12 hours later without any apology. When I requested a partial refund from the manager, no one even responded. I've used them for years and been pleased but never again. Terrible experience in multiple ways. read more

Rechecked it once I got home the second time and there is still fur and dirt all over the back seats and in the crevices. Not very happy at all. I reserved a $250 Deluxe Cleaning from this company 2 weeks ago and planned to bring my car to be appraised by Car Max directly afterward as my husband and I will be moving out of the country in a few weeks. They were scheduled to come to my office to clean the car today at 2:30 and it is currently 4 pm and they have not arrived. Someone from their company texted me around 2 asking if I'd like to reschedule because of the rain (it isn't raining and is not supposed to). I texted back immediately telling them how important it was for the car to be cleaned today and that I wanted to keep my scheduled appointment. I still have not heard back from them and now I'll be scrambling to get my car cleaned somewhere else this evening. Figured he wanted to sleep late - he shows up at 10am and didn't seem to care that he was late, saying he could detail my car in 1 hour. I passed. Andre and Wings mobile detailing are absolutely fantastic. I was gifted with a car detail by them last Christmas and again in the beginning of the summer and my 1998 car was honestly like brand new. Aside from the best detailing I have literally ever seen, the customer service is phenomenal. I'm a very indecisive person and I'm always changing my mind about what I want done to my car and they are SO understanding and patient. I was going to have the standard detail package but I decided I wanted to wait a little longer and do the leather shampooing- they were so understanding and just could not have been nicer. I schedule a $210.00 level detail job online. I selected the appropriate date and time. Although the time and job were confirmed on line, Wings did not show up at the appointed time. Thirty minutes after the scheduled appointment, I called and Wings rescheduled the appointment without notifying me. That would have been inconvenient but OK. Approximately 15 minutes after the revised appointment, Josh called and told me he was running late and would be there in another 20 minutes. By this time, it was too late to complete the level of detailing service I scheduled. I cancelled the appointment. Based on the reviews, I had expected that Wings would show up on time and complete the detailing requested. This review is a few weeks late, but the job they did on our cars is still sparkling. I wondered if it was going to make that big of a difference on our cars to do the premium package and wow, was I wrong! The cars are over 11 years old and look like new. Took the cars out and the newer cars were looking shabby and sad next to them. The clay bar that they used really makes a big difference in the shine. Can't wait to have them come back. They are really amazing people to deal with also, a real pleasure to deal with. The detailing they do is like nothing I've ever seen before. My husband is the car nut, and he was amazed. Had a very great experience today with Andre and his partner. He was super professional and courteous and on time! Being on time is a HUGE factor with me because it shows you care about my time. We brought a mini van and it smelled and had lots of dirt. They cleaned it and took the smell out instantly. The entire process took about 2 hours. If we get another car or ever need a car detailed they will be the first we call. Super convenient in that they are mobile and I got to relax in my apartment while the worked in the parking lot. My truck is 15 yrs old. After this morning it looks like it came off the showroom floor. Yes it still has some 'dings' but it looks brand new. No one else here in the RVA has been able to match this kind of outcome (and I've been to 4 of them). Skakeel and his partner did one heck of a job. This may very well turn out to be a Spring / Fall event. Got the deluxe shampoo, deep clean, and exterior wash, all for a fair price. Very, very satisfied, even the spouse 'loves' it.
