This was not a last minute booking so they had time to prepare for us and staff accordingly. We were given a more private space in the back which was great. After we moved a couple of tables (they did not help us), the setting was good. At this time, they presented us with a very small menu that looked like a kids menu. When we asked why, they said it was because they were busy. They did not tell me when I booked (or when I called to confirm that day) that we would not have the full menu. One of the reasons I chose this place was because of the menu. After asking about the menu, we were told that were 3 additional specials we could choose from that were not on the menu. When young server then came to take our order, we asked about the other 3 options as we didn't know the price or what was included. He had to go back to the kitchen 3 times to answer our questions (we were polite and asked simple questions like what kind of steak is it?, what are the sides, etc). After his 3rd trip to the kitchen, he did not return and apparently left the restaurant. After a long wait, another server came to take our orders. We thought that things were finally under control. We were wrong! Our meals were not served at the same time (our volleyball players were sitting at their own table and did get their meals served at the same time). At the parents/coaches table, some people had finished eating their main course before others had even received their starter salad. One person didn't even get her meal until everyone was finished and this was 2.5 hours after we got there. She ended up taking it go as everyone was finished eating. Needless to say, we were disappointed in the service and the food but we still had a good time as it is a great group of people. We all thought this would be a good story for later. However, the story continued. After we left, my husband received a text that our credit card had been charged $10020.00 by the restaurant. We promptly drove back to the restaurant and asked about the charge. At first they laughed it off and basically said "oops". They they tried to charge us twice for our meal (by accident). It took us close to 30 minutes to get the charges correct. In the end, they removed all of charges. The alfredo sauce had no flavor and it tasted as if they just dumped a can of generic sauce on top of overcooked noodles. Perfect for someone with no teeth. It was pretty gross and noone at the table liked it. In fact, two appetizers and all four entrees that were ordered went unfinished because they were just that bad. 7. Somewhere on the menu it said that if we weren't offered dessert we got it for free. You guessed it, we got it for free. And they were out of one flavor when we ordered it. Nice. As we were leaving, we overheard a party of 6 say that their burgers were over-done and their fries were cold. Good grief.
