I have been very happy with how honest and informative they have been, and they also seem genuinely interested in seeing me succeed. Michelle has been the gal I work with most often and she takes time out of her schedule to contact me and inquire about updates. While they are a chain, they are still a small chain and stay local. This is helpful because then the bank is focused on the economy within the community. And it is a nice facility. They care greatly about appearance and take pride in professionalism. It's a really nice bank to have my accounts with them. They're safe, reliable, and easy to work with. They've never caused me any trouble. The online banking is really easy to use, and safe as well. They do take cautionary advances with that though, once I was on a trip in NY and it denied me access to my account. I called the Bank though, and told her we were on a trip, and they reset the account for me so that I could log on. But it's nice to not have to worry about that, and all it takes to access your account once it's been blocked is one phone call. the ONLY thing I don't like about the BOE, is that it can takes a couple days for transactions to process. Like if you get paid on Friday, unless your place of employment deposits your check into the account sometime in the morning, it may not show up in your account until Monday, even if it's there. Almost any purchase your make on Friday-Sunday will not be processed until Monday and sometimes even Tuesday. That has made for some mistakes on our part where we thought we had a certain amount and didn't. But after you bank with them for awhile (I've been with them since I was 17!), you get used to it. I tried to call to get a live person or even a computer to validate my purchases and unlock my account, I am getting a busy signal when i click on the prompt. They say they specialize in customer service, however this is customer service at it's worst. If you mind not getting a hold of a person or a computer that can actually help you on a Sunday, I definitely would not open an account with this bank. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ON A WEEKEND. Anyway, I personally have had nothing but fantastic experiences at this Wells Fargo. I've been working with multiple bankers on multiple occasions and they have always been prompt, professional, and very friendly! We were victims of fraud on our account. Someone stole over $300.00…read more When we sought help to get out money back we waited on hold for 54 minutes on the telephone. The next step of the process I waited over 20 minutes before I hung up. If you want to see someone in person at the branch you will have to wait over a week. I waited and went into the bank and the banker was not helpful at all. She kept making obstacles for me to close our accounts. If we wanted to find out what happened on our accounts we have to wait 30 days just to find out. But at the same time, if we did not pay the amount stolen before 30 days they would send us to collections. No desire to help customers prevent or assist with fraud. Lots of delays and rules set up to punish the customers when they are victims of fraud. Then when you try to get your money out of the bank they have all kinds of reasons why you cannot. Horrible.
