Wingopolis is an Inglewood gem. Off the bat, Trevor is great people. Extremely humble, caring and most of all, grateful. Trevor is running a one man show so if patience isn't your best suit, I'd say you better find some because the wings are finger licking good. He's the one answering the phones, running the register and cooking the chicken. It's literally a one man show. Now onto the food: the wings are cooked perfectly. They've got this golden crisp brown crunch and flakes to them that was amazing every bite. I got half buffalo and half lemon pepper. I would say to get the sauce on the side since it's currently only take out so the wings do not get soggy. Also, if they do do a lighter version of the lemon pepper sauce, that would be great too as it was a little peppery. Above all, the wings were fire nonetheless. I'd gladly wait for these wings over Wingstop or BWW. The crinkle cut fries were also cooked to perfection with just the right amount of crunch and crisp to them. Ooohweeeee. This joint popped up on the internet so me and my roommate figured we'd give it a try. The owner was super dope and hilarious plus he was working his hardest to make our experience great. We pigged out on Orange, Hot, Garlic and BBQ wings along with some fries and potato salad. The price is a bit higher than wingstop or BWW but is WAYYY more satisfying. 9.7 of 10 -- As a well-traveled person from the South, I have tried many lemon pepper wings nationwide. Recently, I visited Wingopolis and was impressed by its unique and flavorsome wings. The Lemon pepper wings were skillfully coated with seasoning and surprisingly not salty. Although I didn't take any pictures, I left a graveyard of bones, being that the wings were flavorful and cooked to my preference. Apart from the food, I received excellent service and had an introductory conversation with the restaurant owner. I learned that Wingopolis is a relatively small business compared to other established wing spots. I recently moved to the area and will be visiting more frequently. I look forward to seeing how this spot grows and trying out the fries when they are available again. read more

I'm not sure who is giving this place 5 stars but it has to b family. The lemon pepper wings were tasteless. The bbq wings were the best there. The mild lacked season as well. I respect the brotha who runs this place , he's a cool dude pretty down to earth and chill. He's going to open up the inside pretty soon hope it goes great. Now the wings I had which were lemon pepper and Buffalo. The Buffalo was great ! Super flavorful and zesty and crispy 8/10. The lemon pepper on the other hand needs work ! 2/10 the wing itself was cooked right but the flavor & how dry it was wasn't so great would not get that particular flavor again maybe make a lemon pepper wet style sauce for them. I love the idea of the potato salad as a side but it just doesn't taste like anything but Mayo and potatoes lol. read more

This is truly a high quality establishment, the service was absolutely fantastic, but the food was entirely out of this world. I ordered the lemony lemon wings & shrimp tempura and they were jam packed with flavor. These were some of the most succulent wings I have ever had the pleasure of eating. The tempura was light, refreshing and quite visually appealing. For my sides I indulged in the potato salad and fries. That Potato salad is a sensation to one's tastebuds. I was mad at myself for not getting more because it is truly in a league of its own. The fries were perfectly salted and crispy. As always I love supporting local business in the community and especially during these times they need love the most. I was hearing about these amazing wings through the grapevine and knew I had to try them immediately. I decided to bring my friend along so he could experience quality food and real wings other than Wingstop. Let me start off by saying the customer service is impeccable, Trevor the owner makes you feel right at home. I originally called and no one answered and to my surprise he called me back right away, he is very charismatic and genuinely cares about the customers and the food he serves. I excitedly placed my order a 20 wing combo I could get 3 flavors so I got (honey bbq, garlic pepper and lemony lemon pepper) for first timers the difference between lemony lemon pepper and naked lemony lemon pepper is how strong the flavor is, if you want more mild go with naked. My friend ordered a 10 piece cross over combo which is 5 wings and 5 shrimp tempura w fries his flavors were tangy citrus orange and honey bbq for the tempura. All together it came to around $63, he accepts cash or card. The order can take up to about 45 mins or longer depending, patience is a virtue. Once we got the order we couldn't wait to eat, the wings were delicious! Some of the juiciest wings I've ever encountered, I'll be back for more I would love to get a chance to try all the flavors. read more

Great food the grandmother buffalo wings are simply delicious, and the barbecue wings are finger licking I'm serious it's worth the price and wait, I've been there a few times and I'm never disappointed! Order from Wingopolis, trust me. Placed an order for some buffalo wings and some garlicky garlic pepper wings. I usually only judge places by their buffalo wings, and let me tell you, these are amazing. Great size (probably some of the biggest you'll see), good amount of sauce (but not too much; some places pour on the sauce and it leads to the wings getting soggy), the meat falls off the bone, and they're a really fair deal. The buffalo isn't hot, it's just a perfect medium with a true buffalo flavor. The garlicky garlic pepper is more like a garlic parmesan but it's made with real chunks of garlic which gives it a more authentic/unique flavor which is amazing. If I had to change anything, it'd be to have more sides (like mac n cheese or cajun fries; I've never been a fan of potato salad), hire more employees so I can order during the day for lunch or earlier in the week, and to make the wings just a bit crispier (but honestly that might just be because I left them sitting in the bag for an hour while I was talking to the owner and then on the drive home). Every single picture on yelp is exactly what the wings will look like every single time; the consistency is there. Would definitely go back! read more

I had heard of this place word of mouth and via the internet so I decided to give it a try. I placed an order over the phone, getting buffalo wings, lemon pepper and Cajun. When I arrived the guy was very welcoming and well mannered. Black owned business built from the ground up by working man! He runs the place himself, make orders, cooks the food and serves it (a real one man show). My order took 45 minutes but I let it slide since he is doing this all on his own. The buffalo wings had a great flavor, lemon pepper was decent, but the Cajun was very salty. Also the cook of the wings were not as crispy (which is something the owner did tell me he did not do) but I personally prefer it to be. I think it is worth a try! read more

What I like about Wingopolis is how simple the menu is and just how good the wings are here. I love wings, but nothing is worse than wings that taste frozen and then fried. These types of wings tasted fresher burned. Now, that is NOT the case here. The owner developed a simple menu of wings and fries. Perfect in every way. It's nice to see care put into the making of some of the best chicken wings in Los Angeles. Congrats to the owner. They are closed Mondays, so get your wing fix every other day of the week. I literally wake up and go to bed drooling over these wings so much to the point where i have to sometimes get them two days in a row just to satisfy my craving. This helps the community by proving one can start a new business and be successful. I had the buffalo and the citrus wings, split 5/5. Can't decide which was better. They're both great. I also ordered a Load Your Own potato with jalapenos, green onions, pulled pork, shredded cheese, and garlic butter. The wings were delicious. The potato was a bit much for me. It would take me days to eat the potato. Wings & Pot is a bit of a distance for me, but I'm sure I will drive right past many wing spots to get there.

Meanwhile, other people were also choosing to sit at the bar, which made it confusing why we were the ones being asked to move. That interaction felt frustrating and unwelcoming. When guests are told they can sit anywhere, they should not be asked to relocate for internal staffing reasons. That is something management should handle behind the scenes, not something placed on customers. It completely changed the experience for us. We each had one drink and decided to leave. Very disappointing first impression. Staff should be better trained on how to handle situations like this without making customers feel unwelcome.
