I bought into the hype of all these reviews and also the smell but these wings were pretty average. They aren't any bigger or crispier than your local Wingstop but still good. The lemon pepper was kind of salty but the Hennessy BBQ did live up to the good reviews, you can taste the Hennessy. The fried broccoli was mushy, though, I ate a few and had to throw the rest away. One thing that soured me on this was that I asked if they could do half and half for the flavors. They said only for the 12 piece but I only wanted 6. But then they said they would do it for me, so I was excited. That is, until I found out they charged me for the 12 piece without telling me that's what it would be! I don't mind paying extra to support small businesses but transparency goes a long way. Guess that was an expensive lesson for me to learn. read more

So good. The hype is real, the product is even realer. It's going to be hard to stray from ordering Parmesan wings again even tho I want to try every flavor, and the fries rolled out with a subtle signature spice. Food was prepared in record time. Online ordering all setup through Toast, which has much lower fees to the restaurant than Grubhub, they'll be ready in 15 minutes and it's a 15 minute drive there. Done deal. When we arrived, the owner was there and was kind to us and thanks us for coming by. The order was correct, ready when we arrived, and hot enough to stay hot by the time we got home. The wings were perfectly cooked, meat falling off the bone. The sauced and the dry wings were both photogenic and tasted as good as they looked. Zesty buffalo was incredibly delicious. Mildly spicy, crispy skin on the wings, just enough sauce to leave your fingers wet. Lemon pepper was a surprise contender for the better of the two. I don't know what else to say besides for BELIEVE ALL THE HYPE about Two Wings. Had this chicken for the 1st time about a month+ ago and have been thinking about it literally every single day since, no exaggerations! I'm like a serious foodie but hella picky and might I say I have never ever in my life had better chicken than what I experienced that glorious night! I have been wanting it everyday since, but it either kept saying "closed" or no one answered when I kept calling, so I actually took a drive to Maple one night, only to be saddened by my discoveries. I didn't give up or lose hope because I finally found out where to get those good ole tenders I've been having dreams about, waking up in cold sweats feening for that delicious bliss, lolololol, but seriously though!!! I'm hooked! I'd recommend this spot to any and every lover of seriously good, tasty, delectable food that definitely WILL NOT EVER DISAPPOINT!!! I read the article in LA Eater that came out yesterday, and decided to order dinner from Two Wings Chicken, because I love wings. These are the best wings I've had in LA. Possibly anywhere. I ordered the classic buffalo sauce (because I like to see how a new spot to me does the basics) and the Hennessy BBQ (because I like to see how they do the less common stuff too). The chicken was perfectly cooked -- falls right off the bone, with a nice crispy skin. I live in Long Beach, and this location is not the most convenient to me for pickup. I don't care. Hole in the wall but we are so glad we found it! The wings are absolutely to die for. We got the classic buffalo, zesty buffalo, and lemon pepper. The classic buffalo was the most delicious buffalo I've ever had! Perfect amount of tanginess without being too overpowering. The zesty buffalo definitely has a tangier kick and is a little more lemony in my opinion. The lemon pepper had the perfect amount of seasoning. We got our wings well done so they were crispy even after we took them home. The ranch isn't regular cheap ranch it was good. I would also recommend trying the sweet tea, I believe they add a little bit of lemonade so it's delicious. If you're having trouble looking for it, you're probably close, it's located in a neighborhood with a small sign on the sidewalk. Just use maps to find it! Everything people have said about these wings is true. Founds myself jonesing crazy hard for some wings today and had recently been trying all of LA's "best" wing spots. Wings 2 Go, Wingopolis, etc., Couldn't find anyone speaking a bad word about Two Wings and decided I had to have it. Waited for the delivery services to become active and found out that it's pickup only at the moment. 45 minutes later I was at Smorgasboard LA ordering a 24 piece (I went all that way, might as well get extra) and man....it slaps. The classic buffalo are as good as any wings I've ever had in that style. The BBQ flavored ones ARE the best I've ever had in that style, bar none. Don't know what else to say - if you want amazing wings, this is the spot. There's a 0% chance you'll be anything less than amazed. It's Easter Sunday and I've attended services at The Church of Chicken. Chef John Clark is one of the best young chefs working in LA right now. In addition to Two Wings, I have attended his Soul Food Sunday and Fish Fry Friday. I can safely say that the fried cauliflower is a revelation. It's the hands down best version of this dish. Chef's lemon pepper seasoning on the strips and wings makes me want to cry because it's perfect. The only problem with Soul Food Sunday is that it isn't every Sunday. Shrimp and Rice, collards greens, sweet potatoes. It's all incredible. Cookies, sweet tea, banana pudding! It's like going to a Southern Family reunion where a bunch of grannies and aunts made all the food. He's THAT good! Also Chef's social media (@yeschef_jclark) shows how hard this man hustles and what a positive light he is in these dark times. Oh my gosh, these chicken wings are off the chain. I was pleasantly surprised by this otherwise under-the-radar eatery. Quite possibly the best cooked wings in LA. None of the sauces are necessarily that different from what you normally find, but the wings themselves are perfectly fried. Juicy, plump, with just the right amount of crispiness. Zesty buffalo and lemon pepper complemented each other quite well. Even the french fries were cooked perfectly. I can't get over how perfect these wings are. I read all of these 5 star reviews last night one by one and was very excited to see so many great ones praising this place. I wanted to support the business so I ordered through doordash. I ordered 36 mamba option and split it between zesty buffalo and lemon pepper solely because of the reviews. My order came with all zest buffalo and non of the blue cheese which I ordered. I had to reorder to get the blue cheese sent to me and I called them to make sure they knew I hadn't received the blue cheese. The lady was super nice and very helpful . She made up for the Mia order and sent me the lemon pepper. I appreciate her greatly. As far as the food, I was disappointed. It seemed like whomever is prepping the sauces spilled salt in the rub, mix or something. It was so salty I still have just about every wing in the refrigerator of the zesty buffalo. I just could not eat it and I am didn't want to just throw my money away so I am thinking of how I can remove the salt and reheat them. Hmmm. The lemon pepper was jive salty as well.
