My only regret is that I do not live close enough to get services from Calderon anymore…read more I came here in 2019 to have my wheel bearing evaluated and a quick fluids checked. I love this place. They are honest, very down to earth and speak to you in very simplistic terms to help you understand your car. Also loving the fact that the shop is female owned! Each time I called or visited it was obvious that they were very busy handling multiple vehicles and customers. Despite that, Jerry was professional and took his time to listen and then explain all details. Came in to get a check engine light looked at and after a few hours I got an estimate of over 6k…read moresaying I had transmission failure that needs repair. I honestly couldn't tell you how true that is but when I asked for more explanation he was very rude and condescending and would not explain anything or give me any real details. I was asking questions about the codes that I saw and what kind of issue it might be, asking if it could possibly be electronic but all that I was told was that I am wrong and it is internal transmission failure. Being a younger woman I never know who to trust with my car but it was extremely off putting for me to get a nasty response when I am literally paying for this information. I should add that my check engine light went back off before I even brought it in and my car drives perfectly fine so I'm really at a loss here. And to top it all off after paying over $200 for this "diagnosis" I get in my car and there was trash and Doritos left on the floor. Super disappointing and disrespectful to say the least.

I came here wanting to get a quote on how much getting my car A/C and passenger rear view window…read morefixed would cost. The owner told me a simple dye test should do the trick to check the A/C. Hours after dropping my car off to do this test, they call me with an appalling list of things needed to be fixed in my car to the tune of over $3,500. One of which was leaking coolant, which I had fixed less than a year ago elsewhere. I went to my last mechanic to use the warranty from this repair. However, he was able to physically show me that there was no leak. I went to check everything else on this list of repairs Everything Automotive claimed I needed, and only 2 of the 5 repairs were actually true. I agreed to get my mirror changed at Everything Automotive and nothing else. But the owner wouldn't take my no for an answer on getting everything they listed repaired, and tried pressuring me to scare me saying my car was a ticking time-bomb. It wasn't. When I came to get my car an hour after the full diagnostics I didn't ask for was finished, the owner said he needed more time to "do what he needed to do still." Slightly concerning since there was nothing we agreed to repair yet, and of course when leaving, my car ran worse than it did when I got there. As a girl alone in Florida as I finish up my education, it's so disappointing to see the lengths people will go to swindle others. The owner states to have helped lots of fellow students from my school which worries me how many other people were suckered into spending money on things they didn't need from here. Do yourself a favor, and find an honest mechanic like Vimar up the block across the street from Full Sail University to help you with all your needs!
