The short version: they take pride in their product and it turns out well above the usual. Friendly family operation. -- Buffalo Wings: Not gargantuan, but good size. Good contrast between crisp skin and tender inner flesh. Decent juiciness on the drums and very good juiciness on the flats. Tasty sauce. -- Fries: When I learned they're not fresh hand-cut, the owner was kind enough to provide a small sample to try. A decent rendition for frozen.  -- Nashville Hot Wings: Tried on the second visit, as a combo with coleslaw and split with an eating buddy. A clinical presentation of technical wings perfection, with each piece crisp outside, tender and juicy inside, and generously coated but not overloaded with fresh, tasty wing sauce. A little grit to this one to deliver dry spices as well as liquid, and a noticeable amount of heat that complemented nicely. A joy to view and a joy to eat. -- Mango Habanero Hot Wings: Tried on the second visit, as a combo with onion rings and split with an eating buddy. More technical perfection and similar praise for the sauce, which balances sweet and heat nicely. Even nicer was a little garnish of mango on top. Like the Nashville Hot, these were superb. (And if you check my other reviews, you'll see that I don't go throwing around compliments and 5-star reviews to just anyone.) -- Onion Rings: A frozen product, but crisp, not greasy, and seasoned. Not seafood shack or roast beef joint quality, but good for what it was. -- Coleslaw: A larger-than-expected serving with an unexpected flavor. Crisp, creamy, but with a certain something or somethings that begged for more forkfuls. Seeds (I think caraway) and fruit (cranberries and apples) added oomph and a floral component. If I didn't have plans after, I'd have bought more to take home. Friendly, hands-on owner who puts his heart and soul into the food, from the presentation (including a stainless steel bone dish and plastic gloves) to the pinpoint technical excellence of the wings (nailed the crisp, the juiciness, the right amount of sauce) to the creativity (the mango garnish; apples and cranberries in the coleslaw). Even without table service, comfy booths, and beer, an easy 5.

Confused that I didn't see a cancel option I said I was in the parking lot and would be right in - he sounded caught off guard. He was very bizarre as soon as I walked in - I said you just told me to cancel online and he cut me off saying he didn't tell me he called me. Ok ... He gave me my receipt, proving I ordered, admitted he couldn't fulfill it and when I showed him his website saying there was no option to cancel he kept shrugging. Then he said it wasn't his website even though he'd handed me the receipt for my order. I've never seen anything like this. Facebook has reviews talking about some affair he had and how his dating isn't anyone's business This man should be confined - gave me super creeps and I felt uncomfortable alone with him as he kept shrugging that he didn't know how to cancel and wouldn't refund me. Bro beat me for $40. Hopefully the the town won't renew his license - save yourself the headache!

I just got done with a review of a new Roast Beef place in Woburn, "Mad Matt's." It wasn't…read morepositive. So today I had a hankering for a GOOD roast beef sandwich, Peter's Pizza and Roast Beef, where I generally have a good experience, roast beef wise that is. Walked in, first thing I noticed was that Newsmax wasn't on the TV, it was some cooking show. Second thing, "Who are these new people behind the counter?" Maybe the owner hired some new employees and he's off for the day or on vacation. Anyway, I ordered my usual and got a side of onion rings. Came to almost $20.00. Onion rings cost that much now? Whatever, I'm here, and it's my day off. Splurge. They brought a ceramic dish over with my food on it. Yep, must be new owners, they never had dinnerware here. It seems every time a good eatery changes hands they go downhill. My order looked good. "Looked" is all it was. I took a bite, in a word, gross. It tasted weird and smelled like, let's see....window putty. It also hinted of being rancid. I spit out the two bites I tried. Here's a tip for you guys, if there isn't any customers ordering, put the meat back in the fridge. Or, after the second day of serving from the same roast, toss it out, by then it starts to turn. It's not rocket science! The onion rings were way over done, hard as rocks. I don't like rings that fall apart either, but there's a perfect cooking time and this wasn't it. Ate a few edible ones and tossed out the rest. I learned not to complain when I get a bad meal because that never ends in a refund. Or I don't trust them when I send the food back for a substitute. Not worth the risk. The uneaten sandwich I wrapped in napkins and put it in my pocket. When I got to the grocery store down the road I tossed it out my window for the hungry seagulls. One came down and wolfed it in a few bites. Looks like he enjoyed it, bon appetit my feathered friend! My last roast beef go-to is Kaput. Finis. Finito. My only choice in the meantime is to cook a nice roast myself at home. At least it won't be a guessing game, a roll of the dice, a gamble that either I'm served good quality beef and have a pleasurable eating experience, or I'm fed the equivalent of road kill that results in me throwing food away as well as my money. My twenty dollar bill is safe and secure in your cash register. Meanwhile the slop you just served me ends up as garbage instead of sustenance. Who's the winner in that scenario? (Rhetorical question.) If I give one star reviews on here it's not because I'm mean or I'm too picky, I do it so maybe, just maybe, it will change the way they prepare and cook their food. What I write down is my honest experience at your establishment. If you want to make improvements by what people on Yelp criticize about, great! The customers will win in the long run. If not, then just keep what you're doing in the name of making bank by cutting corners and your customers and business will lose out because of it.

They may just grab the beef from the fridge, toss on a grill, pat a few times and call it "roast beef". The beef itself is raw,not medium, not medium-rare. It's simply raw and uncooked. It's just horrible. The chicken fingers were over fried. They were extremely dry and even hard to chew on. I still can't image I spent around $25 on these junks.

Typically when I order a veggie sub, they know exactly what I'm talking about. This time, while the worker was very pleasant, he didn't ask the right questions. No big deal. I also ordered a seafood dinner as well for my son. The delivery service was timely and the delivery driver was very pleasant. While the seafood dinner was very good, I can't say the same for the two veggie subs my husband and I ordered. In years past they were stuffed with veggies and the bread was soft and fresh. This time, they were sparsely filled and the Syrian bread was on the stale side with lots of firmness. Not sure if I'll go back or not but I hope they listen to their reviews and make the necessary changes so they will be successful.
