Just got off the road and this place was 5 min from our Air BnB. You can tell this place is always busy on Friday nights. As soon as we ordered a gang full of other people followed right behind us! I ordered the traditional wing meal with jerk sauce. My girl ordered the cauliflower wings with awesome sauce. They forgot to put the awesome sauce on her wings so she was upset immediately! They fixed it right away though. My wings were ok, I like my wings on the crispy side so I would've had them leave my mines in the oven a lil bit more if I had the option. Fries were just fries but you can elect to get some sauce on your fries, I'm just not that type of person to eat soggy fries.

The sauce on my Hot AF was good, not unbearably hot or anything but it had a good kick, the plain ones had a nice crunch to them.

You can also order online. The wait time if you order in person is around 15-20 minutes. I ordered the catfish entree with broccoli and 5 cheese macaroni. The plate was huge and everything was well-seasoned. The macaroni is extra cheesy, and the catfish is crispy with a mild parsley and butter flavor and topped with lemon slices. I'm surprised that there aren't more reviews. It is five minutes away from Grosse Pointe Park and less than ten minutes from Indian Village / West Village. I will be stopping by again soon.

They only accept cash and they are a take out only establishment. I just happened to be in the area and decided to try out a new and upcoming place nearby. They have a very large menu so there's plenty of options for every one Parking is no problem and the parking lot is secure and well lit I took a few minutes to peruse their menu. I ordered a few classical favorites like chicken wings with fries and also a catfish dinner with macaroni and cheese and steamed broccoli. I was excited to see a variety of kool-aid on the menu so I had them mix up two cups of their most popular flavors. It took a little while for my order to be ready but I didn't mind since they cook everything fresh. After about 25 minutes, it was about to go down! I took my order to my car and opened everything to see what I was working with. My chicken and fries were blazing hot and smoke was wafting from container. Same with my catfish dinner. Upon inspection of the chicken and fries, I noticed that I only received 3 wings instead of four. The owner came to window and apologized and promised to take care of the issue right away. He came out with my new order and even threw in an extra wing for my troubles Everything was so tasty and seasoned to perfection. The macaroni and cheese was cheessin' and the broccoli was crisp and buttery. The fish and chicken tasted like something you would get from Big Mamas kitchen. To say I was pleased is an understatement. Do yourself a favor and stop in and try them out. I promise you won't be disappointed

The fried catfish, yams, greens, fried chicken, dark maple hot wings and anything that hit the table was exceptionally tasty. First, the restaurant is up two flights of steps and there is no elevator. I injured my knee and walked up the stairs. Second, when I was seated and shown the menu, I was shocked at the very limited options. They only offer white- meat chicken, no rice or plain sides. I was going to try the greens but the server said they put vinegar on them which I don't care for. The Brussels sprouts with corn is a hard pass. I had no other choice but ordered something that I would never put together as a meal: fried catfish, sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts with corn. The fish was fried hard and needed seasoning and the sprouts were forgettable. They brought out hot sauce on the side assuming all people want hot/ spicy food. I wanted tartar sauce and they didn't have a traditional sauce- they had a " Cajun- style sauce." My friend had a crab cake for $25. When I called about parking, the hostess mentioned the cash lot behind the restaurant and.a parking structure across the street. She didn't mention that it was extremely expensive, I paid $24.49 for 1 hour and 6 minutes in the structure. Oh, I almost forgot that they added a 20% gratuity automatically for a party of 2! So, overall, my catfish dinner, 1 crab cake appetizer, and $2 up charge for the Brussels brought my bill to $74. Plus, the $24.49 for parking was a $100 night with no liquor only to have to leave and go eat elsewhere as what I wasted money on left me hungry and unsatisfied for sure.

I personally prefer the boneless wings here, but the bone-in wings are good, as well. I have tried more than half of the sauces and rubs currently on the menu. The cajun dry rub and garlic parmesan are easily my two favorite. The new creamy dill pickle sauce is a solid option, too. According to a member of the staff, the sauce's contents are a secret. There are also a couple lemonades on the menu that are quite refreshing. The flavors are blue raspberry and strawberry. Of these, I prefer the blue raspberry, but I like both. The fries here are above average. I recommend adding a dry rub of your choice to the fries. Dill pickle rub is a new option, and it comes with a side of the creamy sauce for dipping. The chicken on the sandwich can be sauced or tossed with any of the options available for the wings. When the sandwiches were first introduced, there were only two options, so this is a notable change. Speaking of changes, I'm hoping my influence has some pull here. The teriyaki sauce, Carolina gold BBQ sauce, poutine, and honey butter hot chicken sandwich were all legitimately excellent, but are no longer on the menu. The poutine was taken off the menu due to a new set up all the kitchens have, but I'm at least hoping the sauces can be brought back. Regardless, DWC is my go-to spot for wings, especially for a big game. Make sure to check out the game day deals to get the best bang for your buck!
