I am giving Wing Nutz a 5 star rating because of the great service from Courtney who was working today. She was very friendly and helpful, even after I found out I went to the wrong Wing Nutz to pick up my phone order. (That is Yelp's fault, they have two locations in Sandy with two different numbers but there is only one Sandy location.) I ordered the Chipotle Lime and the Jamaican Jerk bone in wings. Both where very tasty and loved that they are oven baked and not deep fried. I didn't stay long but the place looked like a fun place to catch a game. Chicken tender wrap. This is one of my lunch usual. I'm disappointed the website doesn't have a customer service email for issues like this. A review is my only option at this point, or calling and discussing it with the store manage. This was my first to-go experience. I recommend dining in. 1. Spicy fries - not crispy, actually unappetizingly mushy, totaling about ten. (About half the usual serving) 2. Wrong sauce on my chicken wrap - since when does chipotle mean cooked tomatoes? That's all it tasted like. I can only assume it was dressed incorrectly. 3. Lacking meat - I appreciate a hefty serving of lettuce on my chicken wrap, but the amount of chicken made it lack luster. Went for dinner on a Friday night. Wings and sauces here are always good, but the food took FOREVER to come out or the kitchen. Our server seemed to be working hard to keep things moving but the food just took way too long. We decided to order some Buffalo Chips when our food arrived. We were completely done with our meal and waiting before they came out of the kitchen. And then they were burned and over done. Stopping for wings shouldn't take well over 90 minutes. We do not come here for the food, but for the great football atmosphere. Limited menu, but the baked wings are better than deep fried. Amazing assortment of sauces. The Hog Wings are to die for! We have been here several times to dine in and ordered a to go order tonight of 18 Bone In WINGS..NOT LEGS! We requested that they be cooked crispy as well. When we got the order home there was not 1 SINGLE WING in the order..every single piece was a leg and they were SOGGY! We are actually baking them again to try to get them crisp as we requested. I called the restaurant to let them know that we were unhappy with our order and the lady told me that they were from the bottom of the batch of "wings" they had and unless specified they cant guarantee if we get "Wings" or "drums". Then hung up on me when I asked for a manager. I ORDERED WINGS...Not ALL LEGS...Not that hard. We definitely will not be back. I can understand a good mixture of wings & drums in an order..but all LEGS is unacceptable and the customer service when we called to tell them about our order was plain Rude & Disappointing. Seriously disappointed. Maybe I'm spoiled by having Buffalo Wild Wings where I moved from 3 years ago, but these are just not that good. Baked may be "healthier" but dried (It was like chicken jerky) pieces of chicken with really watery sauces just don't do anything for me. And the prices. Yikes. The "buffalo chips" (potatoes) were mediocre, and were expensive too. So, for crappy wings in watery sauce that you pay too much for, Wing Nutz is the place. I love this place! My favorite 2 wing sauces are the southern lemon hotties and the Chipotle lime. Baked wings that are always crispy. I've always had good service and they are never so busy that we can't get a table or have to wait for a table. I'm glad they are so close to my house! read more

I love their wings! I prefer this location over the others, they make good cocktails, I have personally never had a negative experience at this location. Maybe a time or 2 with long wait times but nothing that doesn't happen other places. I'm glad to hear that the last guy got good service here because my experiences have sucked! To be fair, I haven't been back since the summer even though I'm a big wing fan and this place is close to my humble abode. Yes, the service was that bad. After 45 minutes of waiting and no apologies or refills I could tell that they were screwing up multiple orders and I joked that they probably hadn't started our yet. Upon inquiry, bingo!...it wasn't a joke. We paid for our drinks and bailed. I'm not turning a quick dinner into two and a half hours unless there's a good game on or something. Ya I'm not sure why I'm giving this one 2 instead of 1 other than the bartender/server was super sweet. We came in not realizing it closed at 11 and sat down at about quarter to. After getting drinks she came back to tell us we couldn't order anything that had to be cooked because they turn off the ovens 10 min before. My wife and I are wing lovers, and we both think the wings here are exceptional, maybe the best we've ever had. They're baked and have a nice crispy texture and are lean, and meaty. They have 15 sauces, and they don't overdue it on the sauce like some places do. And at $12/dozen they are reasonably priced. Beer and wings are one of the great combos known to man, and they have a good beer menu at reasonable prices ($3 for a domestic draft). It's a pretty small place, so it has a nice, cozy atmosphere. Every time we've been here the service has been fine to very good. We haven't gotten many items here other than wings, and it wouldn't surprise me if the rest of the menu is nothing special. This place has severely disappointed me. I've been several times and each time I've left angry. My first experience there I went with some friends, a youth baseball team was there so getting our food took about an hour. They apologized and gave us a bit off our bill. I still felt it was overpriced for what I got. My next trip I went with a friend. We were the only two people in the store and it took them 2 hours to get our food. We complained, and they apologized, yet it seemed that us voicing our opinions didn't matter to them. As we got up to leave suddenly the manager appeared with our food. It "miraculously" was ready right when we were fed up. What made it worse was someone who got there after us got there food before us and left before us. We would have left earlier but my friend was just really craving chicken. Oh yeah, and the food was cold. Makes me think that it was cooked and just sitting there. Their me this place, aside from the FREAKISHLY long waits, is overpriced. If you get the boneless wings you are basically getting a couple chicken tenderloins, sauce dumped on them, and cut into bits while paying roughly $10 for it. Give me $10 bucks, I'll buy you a package of the tenderloins, cook them, cut them, cover them in a sauce, and guarantee that you can feed a couple people and leave being well fed. This is the 5th time I have been here and I won't be back. I keep giving it another try because i have heard people say their wings are good, but i have only gotten salads (okay) and the boneless wings (rubbery and hard to eat). To me the food is just mediocre and poor service doesn't entice me to eat there which sucks because I am within walking distance. I don't know about other locations but this one has bad service. Other times it has been slow but this time: Took 10 mins for anyone to bring us a menu. I only really like the salads here but was starving so I tried a quesadilla. I asked my server for a sauce suggestion with it and she said 'you can't go wrong with any of them'. Nice suggestion. Thanks! It sat it the window for a while before anyone brought it to the table. The cheese wasn't melted and that was disappointing. Oh and the salsa - tasted bottled and it looked like they tried to add to it? There was one piece of corn and a piece of grated cheese (maybe they weren't supposed to be there?) both the female servers were dressed poorly. One had way too short of shorts she really probably shouldn't have been wearing (sorry if thats rude) and the other had a shirt that was worn through on the belly. The primary waitress, her name starts with S, is horribly lazy, non-responsive and as inattentive as any I've ever seen.
