I gave them the benefit of the doubt in spite of their negative reviews. the first few times I ordered everything was fine, their website is not order friendly. I made recommendations to the window server when I was there. this time though I'm just flat out annoyed. Its as if the workers were not trained to read an order. I ordered and paid for 4 ranch cups, received one. I ordered extra crispy and extra seasoned fries, my fries were soft and not seasoned. I ordered light ice in my drink, 3/4 of the cup was ice with a splash of beverage. when I arrived I was the only one in line and I ordered online. slow down, learn to read and get it right, these are basic skills... im giving 2 stars because the food was good but the experience was not. I was the only person in the drive thru. I ordered naked wings, 5 chic tenders and fried okra. The wait was unacceptable but the young cashier, Jamar was kind and apologetic. I finally, after 19 minutes received my order. I checked my order as I always do. I was more than disappointed! The tenders were so wet with oil they could neither hold form or the breading. They were soggy, the coating came off on my fingers when I touched them. They along with the okra smelled of burnt grease. The okra was visibly burnt. The so called shift leader listened to my complaints from afar watching and listening. Never offering to relieve the cashier of dealing with my dissatisfaction. As the shift leader I would expect that to be his job. Not this guy he let someone else take the heat for his unacceptable performance!! I will never, ever patronize your business. However, I will say.... Nice job on hiring Jamar he was the only thing good about my experience. What a nice young man. We've been several times now. All the food is finger lickin good (literally)!! The wing sauces (hot, hot honey, garlic parmesan, and hot honey mustard) as well as the Wing Maxx dipping sauce are all on point. In addition to the wings being great, the chicken tenders, fries, yeast rolls are quite delicious too! But my favorite...the apple turnover! It just melts in your mouth, I've never had one that good. The employees clearly are working hard yet remain friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to Wing Maxx being our go-to for football nights. Let me tell you: Camden County is full of uninformed wannabe "foodies". Look at these reviews. Someone complained that the teriyaki was too salty -- it's supposed to be. Let me tell you about my experience with them -- on opening day, of all days. We ordered 100 wings with 4 different flavors, 25 tenders, 4 orders of fries, 4 turnovers, and an order of yeast rolls. It took a while to come out but what do you expect? It's 50 chickens worth of wings. Everyone was super courteous and that made the wait much easier. They were also slammed. We got the food home and it was still hot. Everything was made correctly. We got everything we ordered. There are joints in Camden that've been open for 20 years and can't get my order right. Parm Garlic = Tasty! Hot Honey Mustard = Great, everyone's favorite, better than Zaxby's HHM Lemon Pepper = Made 100% correct for being in Georgia Mild = Tasted great! Ranch was good, not the weird runny ranch you get sometimes. Blue cheese was great. We will totally be back. Terrible Terrible service. I've tried them three different times and it's always Terrible. Went through the drive through with one person in front of me finishing his order. Then I sat at the speaker for 8 minutes. The employee did not take my order until the one in front of me got his and pulled away. Ordered 5 chicken fingers. Nothing else. Paid right away then waited 12 minutes for my food. She refused to speak up at the speaker, moved slow as possible, practically threw my food at me and slammed the window. Only positive is my chicken was hot, however once cooled all breading literally fell off. To make everything even better, there is no way to email or send a complaint other than the 3 numbers to different locations where NO ONE answers. I will not be going back!!! read more
