This Wing Machine isn't great, but the prices are alright and will do in a pinch. They usually are always offering 1+1 1/2lb wings through Uber Eats. Their jerk chicken flavour is nicely spicy, but the wings are often quite overdone to the point of being dry. The wings are quite small, but they do uphold the 6-7 wings per 1/2 lb. And they give a good balanced mix of drums and flats. I haven't tried the other stuff, but they do offer pizza and burgers. Decor has been the same for as long as I can remember (and it's been a looooong time), and service is minimum, but it's mostly a takeout spot. read more

So what you want to do is get an informed opinion from someone who knows what they're talking about, and ignore the general noise. i.e.- Pizza Pizza is the number one pizza chain in Ontario, so if you need to know anything about the general Public's taste buds: 'nuff said! The secret to getting food from this DoubleDouble / Wing Machine combo store is to stick to: 1. The baked wings "buffalo style", not the crispy deep fried and breaded ones, and get your sauce on the side - if you absolutely positively need piles of sauce on your baked/roast chicken. 2. The DoubleDouble wedges, not the the pre-fab frozen wing machine wedges. Both of these products are well seasoned - the wings marinaded in a non-spicy mild jerk-like marinade and then baked - and the wedges are fresh cut potato wedges, coated in store then pressure fried or "broasted" as it used to be called. Both products are cooked to order fresh for each order and exceptional quality, tasty products. Like many places in fearful Ontario, they tend to overcook chicken, so ask them for not too well done, if that is your preference. To those who complain about the size of the Wings, I understand the complaint if comparing to jumbo pub wings at twice the price, however you should note that Wing Machine does not sell wings by the count they sell them by the pound, and that pound is weighed AFTER cooking, not before cooking, so you're getting the maximum amount of actual chicken, after the excess fat and water has been baked away. Complaining about the size of each individual wing when you are buying them by the pound is kind of like that old joke: Pizzamaker asks customer: "Do you want your pizza cut in 6 slices or 8?", Customer answers: "You better cut it into 6 slices, I don't think I could eat 8", LOL In summary, are these the greatest Wings I've ever had? Nope. Are they better wings than are offered for delivery by pizza-pizza or any of the other large pizza chains in Toronto? Absolutely 100%! And personally, I LOVE their quick hot delivery to my Yonge-Sheppard condo, especially the amazing wedges, dipped in one or more of the wing sauces, I like their honey garlic sauce, as a guilty pleasure. Soooo I came here during that really bad ice storm last winter. That was fun. Sacrifices for pizza, you know? I was arguing with my friend that this place wasn't a Double Double, but a Wing Machine. She was adamant that she was right. Eventually, I picked up the phone and called "Wing Machine" to ask if they were Double Double, and to my surprise, they were. They should have better signage indicating they also operate as a Double Double! My friend did the ordering and the payment so mannnn I did not do my due diligence as a Yelper! I remember she got a Hawaiian pizza with 10 wings and a box of wedges. With a single bottle of pepsi, this somehow came up to over $30. The food was really good. It does the job and it will fatten you up. Wings were crispy and slathered in hot sauce that I normally wouldn't like, but I ended up eating all 5 of mine really fast. The pizza crust was "poofy" and better than expected. The wedges weren't anything special. I felt the price was pretty steep in comparison to Pizza Pizza, but worth the experience if you want to broaden your fast food pizza horizons. read more

Oh man... This place has been open for a long time, so I decided to try out their wings. As others have experienced, the wings are tiny. You get a tiny box, which was what my ribs came in too. The wings barely had any meat on them and everything was covered in sauce. Ok, the real bummer is that I found a piece of short hair glued onto the rib... I was so disgusted, I threw out the whole thing. Otherwise, the one piece I had prior to finding the hair was nice and tender. Have been ordering from the Gino's pizza within this location on a regular basis during the pandemic. We have been making an effort to support local business and have enjoyed the pizza. We ordered last night for contactless delivery as we have in the past. I had been waiting to hear the doorbell ring or the knock on the door indicating the arrival of the pizza but had heard nothing so decided to look outside. The pizza was there and had been torn up by racoons, the driver never alerted us to the arrival of the pizza and it was left unattended. I called customer service and was told that the driver said he knocked so it is my word against his and therefore the pizza would not be replaced and no refund would be provided. I am shocked at the treatment of a loyal customer, instead of turning around a negative situation and providing a goodwill refund or replacement pizza I was basically called a liar and told it was not their problem. We decided to order online, but after failed attempts at their websites functionality decided to call in our order instead. Order placed, waiting in food; we get a call from our driver REFUSING to use our buzzer to come upstairs. We had to contact customer service to find out they got a $60 ticket for delivering food to our building on another occasion. So my partner goes down stairs to meet the delivery person only to find him driving away. Another call to customer service; no apologies or substitutes for our not having food. My only guess is they've changed ownership in the past few years. The online ordering system doesn't work and they are unable to explain why. I started ordering from the North York location around 2014 and we had big, plump juicy roasted wings with excellent sauces. The 40 Creek sauce doesn't taste anything like it once did. The wings are now smaller and almost soggy. I got the coleslaw with our tonight's order. It tastes pickled and limp and then tossed with mayo. I think I am done with this company. I don't remember what it was that my high school peers loved so much about wing machine. I was under the impression that they has some kind of magical wings, sprinkled with psychedelics and MSG. I go here for take out, it's extremely HOT and stuffy inside...horribly. To the point where I start to get dizzy just standing at the counter. The wings looks like frog legs...the only tiny, shriveled up thing I can compare them to and keep this PG-13. So dry and flavorless, even when fresh outta the oven. I givez 1 star for the service, the guys here are sorta nice and sweet in their own way. 1 star for the large onion rings - 5 bucks for a big box and the actually taste nice and fresh. With the array of wing places all around Little Korea, this wouldn't (or shouldn't...) be anyone's first choice. I would suggest going a couple steps north to Wild Wing/Puck or a block south to St Louis. PS if you do decide to try the wings, as for a lot of sauce. It's one of those places where you get what you pay for. Cheap food and big portions, but unhealthy and greasy. It's a tiny place on the inside so don't expect to eat your meal there, and they're definitely more take-out oriented. The combo's are good value if you like wings. Overall the food's been good, but I stopped going because the wings were inconsistent. Some days you'd get average sized wings, others you'd get scrawny tiny things masquerading as wings. He was constantly yelling both over the phone and in person, and hanging off the phone without listening to what customer needs to say, yelling and running to the back of his kitchen completely shutting off a customer. Absolutely zero sense of customer respect. Tells you to literally gtfo of his restaurant for a coupon already paid for use at this location. Forget the food: the moment you walk in, i swear with no over-exaggeration, you are in for verbal abuse, rude mistreatment, harassment, hostility, embarrassment, bullying, intimidation... So I suggest that if you really want the food and have the greatest possible appetite drive to tolerate all of the above, just pay for your pizza without a word, walk out of this wretched place asap. Realllllly good wings. My favourites are Honey Garlic (basic, yes) and Jerk (get ready to sweat). My SO often gets 40 Creek and medium and enjoys his. They are small wings, but good quality. I find they have a proportional amount of meat on them. I get a pound and it comes in a little cardboard pizza box and it's filled right up. They deliver them very quickly and are always still hot when they arrive. It's pretty impressive delivery service really. We've also ordered the spicy fries which are very flavourful. They staff is accommodating to special requests like splitting a pound of wings between two flavours. You just have to call them directly and ask. We ordered online and our entire order was incorrect. They did not resend the correct order. We paid 50 bucks and got a hamburger, onion rings and wings that we did not order. we never got what we paid for and when we called the person working hung up on our twice and said that he would get our order from the place it was incorrectly delivered, meaning we would be getting food served to someone else. When I said that was unacceptable and gross he hung up on me. We are going to report them to Toronto Community Health and will not order from here in the future. read more

I was ashamed to find a distasteful splurge on my food. Tired from work, I gracefully skipped into the wing machine establishment with open arms to experience good tasting food. When I ordered my meal of wins with honey garlic sauce. I sat at my seat, layed down my blue ray player which played Christian music by Ellie Goldberg. I saw a white splunk on my meal.
