a piece of bread with cheese on it

TERRIBLE threatening manager and driver and really bad food. A really CRUDE company. I asked for a refund after getting a very bad order, they insist on PICKING UP the food; proceeded to PAW though it all and ask "where was the garlic bread"? Told him I threw it out and he's yelling at me and wanted to go through my garbage!! He starts photographing the food then throws the boxes on the floor and yells "no refund". If there were Zero stars I'd give them that. Will be contacting their head office, my credit card co. and the police if this person escalates it further. A really frightening experience. Over food!!

I get cravings for wing machine's wings and their spicy fries. They wings are small but I enjoy the taste and I love their spicy fries, which you can't really find a lot of places that have them. There's not many locations and the ones that are around the city don't have good reviews but I will go eat them because I've been eating wing machine since a kid.

Baked wings and "broasted" wedges are both yummy and consistently delivered fast and freshly-made to my Yonge-Sheppard condo

NOTE: This is a DoubleDouble Pizza + Wing Machine combo store** I've notified Yelp, but they are slow-moving and will get it right later Like every other place you go to, you need to know WHAT to order, because no place does everything well. So what you want to do is get an informed opinion from someone who knows what they're talking about, and ignore the general noise. i.e.- Pizza Pizza is the number one pizza chain in Ontario, so if you need to know anything about the general Public's taste buds: 'nuff said! The secret to getting food from this DoubleDouble / Wing Machine combo store is to stick to: 1. The baked wings "buffalo style", not the crispy deep fried and breaded ones, and get your sauce on the side - if you absolutely positively need piles of sauce on your baked/roast chicken. 2. The DoubleDouble wedges, not the the pre-fab frozen wing machine wedges. Both of these products are well seasoned - the wings marinaded in a non-spicy mild jerk-like marinade and then baked - and the wedges are fresh cut potato wedges, coated in store then pressure fried or "broasted" as it used to be called. Both products are cooked to order fresh for each order and exceptional quality, tasty products. Like many places in fearful Ontario, they tend to overcook chicken, so ask them for not too well done, if that is your preference. To those who complain about the size of the Wings, I understand the complaint if comparing to jumbo pub wings at twice the price, however you should note that Wing Machine does not sell wings by the count they sell them by the pound, and that pound is weighed AFTER cooking, not before cooking, so you're getting the maximum amount of actual chicken, after the excess fat and water has been baked away. Complaining about the size of each individual wing when you are buying them by the pound is kind of like that old joke: Pizzamaker asks customer: "Do you want your pizza cut in 6 slices or 8?", Customer answers: "You better cut it into 6 slices, I don't think I could eat 8", LOL In summary, are these the greatest Wings I've ever had? Nope. Are they better wings than are offered for delivery by pizza-pizza or any of the other large pizza chains in Toronto? Absolutely 100%! And personally, I LOVE their quick hot delivery to my Yonge-Sheppard condo, especially the amazing wedges, dipped in one or more of the wing sauces, I like their honey garlic sauce, as a guilty pleasure. Don't judge! {See below}.

Soooo I came here during that really bad ice storm last winter. That was fun. Sacrifices for pizza, you know? I was arguing with my friend that this place wasn't a Double Double, but a Wing Machine. She was adamant that she was right. Eventually, I picked up the phone and called "Wing Machine" to ask if they were Double Double, and to my surprise, they were. They should have better signage indicating they also operate as a Double Double! My friend did the ordering and the payment so mannnn I did not do my due diligence as a Yelper! I remember she got a Hawaiian pizza with 10 wings and a box of wedges. With a single bottle of pepsi, this somehow came up to over $30. The food was really good. It does the job and it will fatten you up. Wings were crispy and slathered in hot sauce that I normally wouldn't like, but I ended up eating all 5 of mine really fast. The pizza crust was "poofy" and better than expected. The wedges weren't anything special. I felt the price was pretty steep in comparison to Pizza Pizza, but worth the experience if you want to broaden your fast food pizza horizons.

There were some seating outside but it was only the one table for two people. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The only downfall was that they ran out of meat sauce so the lasagna was out of the question but they made up for it in the pizza flavours. The menu is pretty straightforward; they offer multiple types of pizza ranging from classic meat lovers to unique ones like smoked salmon or tandoori chicken. I ended up ordering the four cheese because I was in a cheesy mood. The pizza was amazing. The crust had a nice puff up but was not so crunch that it would cut the roof of your mouth. The sauce-to-dough ratio was perfect, and neither ingredient overpowered the other. The cheeses they used (Ricotta, Feta, Bocconcini and cream cheese) didn't clash with each other, and it just seemed to be a slice of cheesy goodness with every bite. The pizza was not greasy, so no mountain of napkins was needed. A must-try if your into pizza and like my nannu says in Sicilian "Veni e pigghiati 'u divertimentu" (Come and enjoy it already).

We probably made a mistake when ordering 2 large half and half pizzas as this turned out to be a very pricey pizza dinner (over $80!!) but that's not the restaurant's fault. We'll just be more mindful next time. The pizzas were good and I loved the freshness of the toppings. Unfortunately, I did not love their crust as it was too chewy for my liking. The chicken wings we got was pretty heavily breaded which is also not my favorite way to eat them. We may come back to try their more adventurous offerings.

Nice crust with a good chew. Good amount of toppings. Really solid New York style pizza. Dave Portnoys pizza review went to their downtown location and gave it a 8.4 if you follow him. There was no parking on Avenue but I found some parking on the residential street just North of the restaurant. The inside is really nice with comfy seating. The Caesar salad was SO crunchy and fresh--like every bite had that perfect crisp, and the dressing was light but still super flavorful. You can tell the ingredients are really high quality. Light, slightly crispy, and just done right. Honestly such a solid spot--I'll definitely be back

The crust, tomato sauce, cheese and big generous aromatic basil leaves - simple beauty. #Pearfect Bite This is added to another favorite of mine at 468F Wood Fired Pizza! Sweet and savory combination - Sweet pear slices meet saltiness from pancetta and 2 cheese Fior di latte, flurry ricotta. Walnut pieces added extra texture, and acidity & sweetness from glazed balsamic completes the taste of the whole. Highly recommended! #Di Parma This is good, tad salty side, but I appreciated the bitterness of arugula, nuttiness from parmigiano, and again the reduced glazed balsamic' rounding up of the whole flavors. I cannot wait coming back here again to try new pizza items (but I cannot miss Margharita - that is my must item)!
