Ordered sesame, chicken and sweet-and-sour chicken was hard. Shrimp was undercooked overall experience with terrible.

Only rating 2 stars because the egg roll tasted good. Food was extremely salty & the rice tasted old and not fresh. The food was over cooked and and had a stale old taste, also made me and my boyfriend sick the next morning 02/10 would not recommend. I got general tso dinners with shrimp fried rice. read more

The staff was very friendly. The food was delicious. The dining room was beautiful. We had egg rolls, egg drop soup, vegetable chow mein, and chicken chow mein. Everything was so good. The portions were large enough for 2 servings so the value was great! read more

I decided to give this place another try because every restaurant has an off night. I will say the amount of food that you get for the money is very generous, however when our almond boneless chicken, and the sweet and sour chicken arrived, along with the crab Rangoon and egg rolls, my first bite just confirmed my first review. Although the amount of food is generous, everything was so salty (and I'm a person who uses soy sauce!) that it was inedible. The only thing that we ended up eating were the egg rolls, everything else was beyond salty. So now I have my answer, I'm sorry to say I will stay away from this restaurant. read more

Right off of the highway, this restaurant has a very convienient location. The staff is very nice and the food is always fresh. I've been getting food from Wing Fong for as long as I can possibly remember...My usual take-out order is a quart of fried rice, sweet&sour chicken, almond chicken, and a must side-order of their delicious crab cheese. I've also had my son's graduation catering from them, and recently had a party of 15 people come in. We ordered off the menu,m and everything came delicious and hot. 10 out of 10, I would recommend this place for everyone!!! read more

This is great Chinese. It never disappoints. I have ordered many times. It is the best in Flint.

Let me preface this by saying that I have eaten here a few times now. The first two times were average, not great nor horrible. It's difficult to find really good, authentic Chinese food in Flint. However, their menu options are average at best and I think the restaurant is a little dirty and service is very spotty. The biggest problem is what happened on the occasion of dining with my husband and two friends. Our table of four ordered our meals and I specifically requested a spring rolls since I r suffer from a serious shellfish allergy and anyone that knows anything about food allergies, especially nuts or shellfish, KNOWS how serious it is. First of all, as always, I pointed out how I have a serious allergy to shellfish and that I wanted (needed) a vegetarian spring roll containing NO SHRIMP, unlike the others at my table. When food arrived, all four of us received regular egg rolls containing shrimp! They look the same as spring rolls, I bit in, immediately spat it out and still became ill. The error was pointed out to the staff by our party and we received NO APOLOGIES, nothing! They treated it like no big deal and our waitress began muttering about "picky people with allergies" in broken English! I will definitely never dine here again! read more

Recommendations from friends to Wing Fong was what my family trusted. The delicious preparations were healthy and tasty. Our children liked the egg rolls as well as the sweet and sour chicken. They all enjoyed the crispy crunchy pan fried noodles with chicken too. Carry out during pandemic was a convenience . Just had the food delivered. The Crab Rangoon's were so overcooked that you could cut the filling with a knife. It was like a block of white cheese, and the wonton wrap burned. The Egg Roll was cabbage only and mushy inside and burned on the outside. I kid you not. The Vegetable Egg Foo Yung was as overcooked and the top burned. I called the restaurant; the told me to call Door Dash. Like is their fault that the food was a disgrace and they bore no responsibility as the rest owner(s). Ugh never again. Cantonese South is excellent. I thought I'd drive the economy a little more and have it delivered. I called the Door Dash deliverer, told her I'd be calling the Chamber of Commerce to let them know, and write a review which I just did. A detour off the freeway lead me to this nice spot for a great lunch. The neighborhood was a little iffy but I was happy I took the chance. I was the only customer but they seemed to have a steady carry out service. The won ton soup, fried rice, spicy chicken and vegetables were great! Decent Chinese, at a very reasonable cost. Definitely one of the better Chinese restaurants in Flint. Eating in really isn't a very good idea, but if you order their meals, you can feed 2 or 3 people for under $9. read more

Good food, but terrible service. If you go to this restaurant, do NOT ask to order off the menu. Only plan on getting the buffet. The buffet is huge and full of everything you could ask for. I took my handicapped mother here for lunch and because it's difficult for her to move around I asked if we could instead order from the menu. In hindsight I should have just gotten mom's food for her from the buffet, but I didn't think it would be a huge problem. The waitress said we could do that but that she had to wait on the buffet customers first. We said fine, there were only like a few people in the dining room and she was getting their drinks. I assumed she'd wait on us once she'd done that. But no. She waited on them, then bussed several tables, refilled water, seated new people that came in and totally ignored us. Ten minutes passed. Then fifteen. I asked again, could we order please, and she said "In a minute ladies, I have customers to wait on," (what, WE weren't customers as well????) So finally, after 20 minutes with no one taking our order, we got up to leave. At that point an astonished waitress CHASED after us (not kidding here, she ran after us!) and said, "what's wrong? why are you leaving?" Seriously???? I told her, we can't wait any longer to place our order and you are ignoring us. The owner I presume came over at that point and said she'd take our order, but by then we had run out of patience and time and we left, and have not been back since. It was too bad really, like I said, the food is great, but if you can't get prompt service, what's the point??? Other areas, the place has a smell to it, like old bleach or something that is not pleasant. Several seat cushions are torn, the lighting garish rather than relaxing. Also the bathroom is disgusting, with no privacy and also has a nasty smell. And the kitchen is right next to the bathroom which is not encouraging. Maybe just get takeout from this place, that way you can avoid the crappy wait staff! read more

This was the best Chinese restaurant that I have been to. There are many choices to choose from, and they also have a delicious fruit bar. The staff is very friendly, and the restaurant has the most amazing atmosphere. I have had their takeout also, and it is just as mouth watering. read more
