Man, what can I say to possibly summarize just how bangin these wings are?! I guess I'll compare them to Wingstop, the "premier" place for chicken wings. First, the size comparison: Wingstop's wings are slightly larger than Wing boys. The flavor options: Wing Boyz has flavors I didn't even know existed in this realm! They win that one hands down! The price, both places have comparable prices for their products. Neither of which is overpriced. The staff: Wing Boyz crew feels more authentic with their friendliness. Wingstop is cool, but they're a franchise and have a corporate feel to their customer service vs Wing Boyz who aren't franchised, they're just trying to make you happy. Overall, Wong Boyz is definitely worth trying when you want a break from the norm and, if you let them, they may just win you over altogether.

There was a "Seat Yourself" sign, so we picked a table near the entrance, where a server greeted us promptly. When I asked if happy hour was still on, she confirmed it was, but then she left to attend to other tables. About 10 minutes later, she came back to take our drink order, which felt a bit long but understandable given that she was the only server working that evening. After placing our food order, the wait for our appetizer was about 15 minutes. We got the 17 traditional chicken wings, with a mix of sauces: half with the "Carb Bomb" sauce and half with roasted garlic Parmesan. The wings were decent, but nothing to rave about. The "Carb Bomb" flavor could have been a bit more exciting. The real letdown, though, was the Whiskey Chicken entrée. It was supposed to come with two chicken breasts, but what we received was essentially one chicken breast sliced thinly to look like two. This was honestly pretty disappointing considering the price. The dish just didn't live up to expectations. Despite these hiccups, I do want to give credit to the server, who was working solo and doing her best to handle all the tables. It's clear that she was stretched thin, and I honestly felt bad for her--she was hustling to keep up with everything. Overall, the experience was a bit underwhelming, and I'd probably consider other options next time, especially with the inconsistencies in the food quality.

Only issue I would say was that I ordered my burger well done but when it was delivered, it had some pink left in it. You can see it from the picture. The water I did not drink because it had something in it. I'm big on if something is wrong with my food, I don't send it back. But other than those to issues, I would say I will recommend this place. They have outside seating as well. Good spot just to go and chill with friends.

There was only one other table waiting on food. Even with that, we had to wait to place our order because a conversation in the kitchen needed to wrap up first. Most of the tables still had grease and crumbs from previous diners. If it had been busy I would completely understand, but given how quiet it was, that stood out. We ordered the Original Sandwich meal and the Ultimate. I asked for ranch instead of BC sauce. After about a 25 minute wait, our food came out hot, which was a plus. However, my ranch was missing and I had to ask for it after the food was already served. The food itself was fresh, but it lacked flavor. My husband's sandwich especially was disappointing because there was very minimal mac and cheese on it, which is kind of the highlight of that burger. Overall, not terrible, but not great either. There's definitely potential here, but the service details and flavor just didn't quite hit for us.

The restaurant is not super big, but just enough space for people to get seats. Service is fast and friendly, perfect for a quick lunch. The portion sizes are the best part. Large amount of fries, coleslaw, and two pieces of Texas Toast. I just wish the coleslaw was a little bit sweeter and less watery. But other than that, great place to go :)
