Had been dying to try this place forever so when I saw the food truck posted up from afar I HAD to go out of my way to go grab something (even though I had just ate lunch). Got the side of mac n cheese to keep it light but it was such an amazing portion and I was so glad about it because it was BOMBBB. I need to come back and try everything on the menu. I'm going to the actual restaurant location as soon as I'm back from the holidays to try out their new lunch menu. As a huge wings person, I am so hype to try the entire menu in general. Service is also top notch - Aikeem slays and is clearly very community oriented which speaks volumes! read more

I'll keep it real with y'all, I was not expecting much from the cauliflower here. When I see that a wing food truck offers cauliflower anything, I'm usually disappointed. But Saucin' consistently crushes cauliflower! I also love that I can choose whatever sauce I'm feeling that day and am not pigeon holed into one option. They've been around for a long time - for good reason. They stay one of the most consistent food trucks/pop ups in Tampa. I highly recommend grabbing a bit when you see them around! read more

As always, great service and the food was incredible. Their buffalo chicken is great, but this time I decided to try the guava sauce and I can assure this is my new favorite one. I'm a fan. We got 20 wings & seasoned fries. 10 flavor Peach Buzz, 5 Guava BBQ (Sweet), 5 Golden Smoke (Smoke Honey Mustard). The wings were very delicious and flavorful. The seasoned fries were cooked to perfection. The service was great, we walked in ordered and got our food in about 15 minutes for a takeout order. Parking is behind the building and there are spaces shared among other businesses in the plaza. Bone in & boneless wings cost $10 - 6 piece, $15 - 10 piece, $30 - 20 piece. Sides available are Seasoned Fries, Cauliflower, Asparagus a la carte for $6. Premium sides available are Collard Greens, Truffle Parm Fries, Mac N Cheese for $8. I really enjoyed the ambiance and vibe Saucin Wings provided just from my short experience in the establishment. This is now in my top spots for wings in tampa! The wings were just like I like them - crispy, perfect sauce/rub to wing ratio, and made fast! I tried the mango habanero which was really hot, but in the way that you can't stop eating them. It seems like the sauce is made in house because it has little pieces of actual mango in it which I loved. I also tried the hot rub and it was the most perfect balance of flavor with a nice kick. Can't wait to go again and try some other flavors read more

We have had Saucin wings now two when they have been at two Shepard taproom. We have loved everything but I think we will be getting the veggie combo and a side of bone in wings from now on. It was the perfect combination for the two of us. So good!! read more

The Saucin wings food truck was in our society for Thursday evening snacks. I decided to try out the Saucin Wings and after exploring the menu I ordered 10 Chicken Wings with Mango Peach Habanero and Trio Sauce along with the side of fries. The guy performing all the operations in the food truck was amazing and answered all my questions well. The service was nice and he was making fresh food in front of us which was amazing. We got our food in quick time and the food was hot. The chicken wings were delicious especially the one with Mango Peach Habanero as it was the spicy sauce and we loved it. The trio sauce was little sweet which we didn't love much. This is just our taste as we love spicy sauce more. The fries were amazing and delicious too. This is the 2nd time I've had Saucin and it's still as good as I remember it being. The loaded fries are my favorite menu item, you've GOT to try the guava BBQ sauce, it's life changing. I got the loaded fries with ranch also and it added a nice touch of acidity. The chicken was so tender it didn't even taste like chicken, nothing like you would think chicken tastes like. I'm going to continue following where the Saucin truck is. I will never get over how good the food is. I'm a huge fan! Highly considering getting Saucin catered for my wedding someday. First off, I want to start off with questioning all these negative reviews. Everyone acting like they're a Michelin Star restaurant. It's a food truck with two people working their butts off trying to make the best product they can for their community. It's a small business, relax people. I got 40 wings, Mac n cheese and fries. The wings were great, the fries were great and the Mac was great. The sauces were incredible. The gentleman taking the orders, I assume was the owner was incredibly nice and personable. 10 out 10 I hope this place continues to grow. read more

Saucin Wings was the food truck at my apartment complex Tuesday night for dinner. Saucin Wings were decent wings with pros and cons that I will go into below. My brothers and I all ordered wings. Two of us got boneless and the other got regular bone-in wings. I'm including their feedback as well. The wings came out pretty quick along with an order of fries and their cauliflower. I ordered their 10 wings for $12 deal. Half were ordered with lemon-pepper dry rub and the other were ordered with "Golden Smoke", their Carolina Gold sauce. The biggest surprise was that the chicken was not breaded but was chunks of mostly dark meat chicken thighs that were crispy, and then seasoned. I've never seen boneless wings like this. You could argue that these are more true to boneless wings as opposed to the chicken nugget style boneless wings you get most places. The meat was ok. It wasn't dry but something we all agreed on was that they were not prepared fresh. With the quick service time, these were likely pre-cooked and reheated to order. Just our guess. When it came to the sauces and seasonings, we found them to be pretty salty. The lemon-pepper lacked a little lemon. I really liked their Carolina gold sauce, just wish more had been put on the chicken. The sauce was just drizzled over so some pieces had more than others. One thing I noticed after I ate about 6 chunks of my chicken was that I still had at least 11 chunks left. My order was only supposed to have 10 to begin with. Not sure if that is something they do often or just because of their business flow for the night. The two guys running the truck were super friendly and we chatted with them a little bit while we waited. I think if I was craving wings and they happened to be there, I might try them again. I'd say if you see Saucin Wings around town, give them a try and see for yourself. They offer unique sauce choices and side dishes and honestly they are on to something with their choice to make boneless wings from actual chopped chicken in my opinion. read more

Our group was in need of some wings to go with pizza that we ordered so we gave Saucin Wings a try. It was a large order so it took a little longer than estimated but I never mind waiting for fresh food! We chose the guava bbq and lemon pepper wings. Both were good, meaty and just crispy enough. I was visiting ZooTampa while on my trip and all the walking I did worked up an appetite. I definitely didn't wanna pay for overpriced cafeteria food at the zoo so I checked Yelp and saw that Saucin Wings was just a 10 minute walk from walking out the exit gate of the Zoo. PERFECT. I called in because the menu says to preorder the family meals. I ordered the Meal For 2 deal which includes 12 wings, a sauce, and a side item. The wings were so good! I made the perfect choice of picking the trio sauce for the wings. Guava BBQ, Golden Smoke, and Buffalo all mixed together. FLAVORS! It was more on the sweet side which I usually don't go for, but the wings were cooked perfectly. Crispy, juicy, and huge! I loved every bite. I devoured the whole 12 piece by myself! So worth it! The truffle parm fries are some of the best I've ever had! The fries were crispy and they didn't go overboard on the parmesan. Definitely order these instead of plain fries if you're a parm fan. It was perfect with the wings. The two guys working in the truck were quick and very nice. They were already working on two big Super Bowl orders before I called so there was a wait. No longer than 10 minutes which I didn't mind because there's a bar and seating area right beside the truck so I ordered a cold beer to go along with my meal. read more

I got to experience these amazing wings last year at their Champagne and Chicken Wings event. So I'll say a few things, first of all, they know how to party! (Seriously best event ever, I can't wait till the next one) Secondly, the wings, and other appetizer options they offer are the best I've had in a LONG time. They have a variety of wing sauce flavors and have lately released some new ones that I haven't had the opportunity to try yet. Some of the best wings I've had! They offer unique sauces on perfectly cooked wings. We tried the Guava BBQ, the Ratler, and the Peach Whiskey--so good. Their sides were also delicious. Finally tried Saucin Wings and definitely enjoyed it. Will order again, for sure. The only thing preventing this from being a 5 star review is the Mac wasn't my favorite - my portion leaked with too much butter. But, the wings were crispy and decently priced. I've been wanting to try this truck for a while now. They are located near the zoo at a brewery called C.1949. Small yet mighty truck!. This man stays busy! Everything is made to order so it took about 25min for 2 orders of loaded Mac and 10 pc wings. The Mac and cheese is so deliciously gooey. The description says "fried chicken chunks" but mine definitely wasn't fried and looked like chopped wing meat. The loaded Mac portions are INSANE. You can definitely share it between 2 hungry adults. I could barely eat half! Mine could have definitely used more Buffalo sauce but overall still delicious! Very unique wing flavors. We got half guava bbq (tangy sweet) and the trio which is a mix of buffalo, Carolina and guava bbq. We will definitely be back! read more

Saucin Food Truck was at my apartment and I really, really wanted to love this food. Their sauces are amazing. The mac and cheese is to die for. The fries are legit. The chicken, however, is just really not great. The wings were soggy and, other than the sauce, bland. Unless you doused every bite in sauce, it just tasted like unseasoned chicken. The chicken that they use on the loaded fries and on the loaded Mac is really poor quality. It honestly reminded me of cheap Chinese food. This food stand is usually at C1949 but sometimes is at Southern Brewery (just check their Instagram for location). The wings are AMAZING! They have a variety of sauces and let me tell you, they are soooo good! My personal favorite is the trio sauce and the rattler sauce. The rattler sauce has this burst of orange with some heat (a little spicy). Def check them out! read more

The amount of flies swarming was alarming. The service was a zero. The girl working watched us order at the kiosk, the kiosk wouldn't let us pay, we tell her, and she says "oh it doesn't work." So we ordered with her even though she sat around watching us waste our time. I ordered a wing meal, told her I wanted the wings injected, and she said "we don't inject them. I will give you sauce on the side." The menu clearly says they inject wings, social media videos always show it, and also, my last visit there was also injected wings but she would give me no explanation other than "I will give you the sauce on the side." It was bizarre and I couldn't even get a "we don't do that anymore" from her. We ordered a chicken sando. The quality was horrible. Chicken tasted overly processed with bad texture. We also ordered a wing combo. The wings were flavorless. Absolutely flavorless. I ordered medium and there was zero spice. Not even a tad. Apparently they don't inject their wings anymore so there was no flavor in the wings. The quality was pretty bad. Also, the "sauce on the side" that the girl working promised me was not the sauce I ordered, it was the sauce she chose. The whole ordering experience was odd. Definitely seemed like someone who did not care about providing good service, good food, or a sanitary environment. We waited about 25 minutes for our food. About 3 people came in to get pickup orders while we waited and no one else. So we sat and waited while the flys swarmed our heads. The cashier never once tried to come out and clean the filthy tables. She even paused doing nothing for a restroom break, used the filthy restroom, came out with WET hands, and grabbed a napkin from the dusty napkin holder on the filthy table to dry her hands. Then still never wiped down the table caked with food debris. Absolute terrible level of cleanliness, care, and service. It ruined my appetite. After waiting that long, the Mac n cheese was ice cold. 25 minutes for Mac n cheese with a chill to it and no heat. I'm convinced they pulled it out of the refrigerator and forgot to heat it up. This place just had too many misses: a lack of quality, a lack of good service, and a lack of any sanitation standards. Never again. We didn't finish our food. We threw it away outside.
