The Tides is both a seafood market and restaurant, so you're surrounded by beautiful seafood and ingredients that actually look like they belong there. Then I noticed the MICHELIN plaque outside the building and thought, wait a minute... THIS place has Michelin recognition? Apparently, yes! The Tides has earned a place in the MICHELIN Guide, which suddenly made a whole lot of sense after tasting the food. That salmon was seriously some of the best I've ever had. Fresh, beautifully prepared and so clean tasting that it didn't need a bunch of heavy sauces or nonsense piled on top. It felt like one of those rare meals that is indulgent because it's delicious, but you also walk away thinking, I actually ate something good for me.
