We ordered 16 piece chicken strips with 2 large sides - The Chicken Strips have shrunk tremendously in size - I should have caught the hint when I asked the lady - The chicken strips are still large, right - answer "Pretty Much" she should have just said "No they are not" the size on these would barely feed a family of young children. 2 Large Sides - well I can say they came in a Large Container - BARELY half way full - the sides was their potato salad and mac and cheese - both barely half way full - so I had a tablespoon, my husband had 2 tablespoons and our son had 2 tablespoons- so now you can put the amount in perspective. And the chicken doesn't taste the same - something is missing in all their flavors. All of this cost approximately $41 - I explained to my husband that I can't exactly remember why we stopped going to Slim Chickens but this experience has sealed the deal of a never return to the business. If you really look at their prices and what you get - I sure hope you are not very hungry - because you will leave wanting something else. Also to all of this area - how many freaking chicken places can one place have - and with so many Slim Chickens can not make the adjustment to compete - they need to go back to their old ways and bring back their original ways.

Having arrived in the Weatherford area, as we live an hour or so out of its perimeter, we decided to burn off what preconceptions we'd have of this place and try something new, after all, it's a point of interest: - 6 wings - 1 drink - the most arid bunch of possibly-refried fries imaginable all for about 20 dollars--19, to be exact. There's a place in the Haltom City-Fort Worth area by the name of 'A&D Buffalo's' that offers 6 wings, 1 drink with unlimited refills, and freshly-made fries that have crunch but flavor and dignity to them that cost half of what Buffalo Wild Prices is levying: about ten dollars with a little tax is all the 6-wing combo A&D Buffalo's asks of you, since all things have tax in this life (no way to go about it), but nonetheless it's a better variation of what Buffalo Wild Prices is giving you for a fraction of the price, only cooked better as if the cooks actually care for what you're going to eat, not to mention that A&D has several similar combos, such as the one where you could switch out fries for a surplus of great fried rice, or maybe you're looking forward to switching it up and picking up a burger instead of wings--they're all made well, and by the way, I'm not being paid, nor am I being sponsored, they're a humble spot near the Haltom Thrift, and I'm only a customer that spots unrighteous work and thought quick enough to provide an alternative worth the trip, though, amongst any if all assumption of being paid for writing this, I should've been paid for what Buffalo Wild Prices threw at me. To further cement that idea, I only provided this alternative as it's the only other wing place I've tried--yes, I know there're a few more, such as Wings Etc., but I'm not going to recommend any place I've never been, that's like attempting to give out the secrets to being a good person without being a good person; knowing it's my first time, one might read my review with a grain of salt: it could be that they just weren't having their best day, maybe they grew tired, and that's a viable idea, but these things shouldn't be at the expense of the customers' enjoyment, and if it truly is due to those reasons I've listed, then it happens much too frequently for anyone to eat here comfortably; this is the type of food you eat near others and, as you're eating, throw each other glares that speak of the same thoughts in everybody's mind: it isn't good, and we paid how much?
