Told the lady (long black braids) I wanted the exact haircut I walked in with, just a bit shorter. To my shock and dismay, it is the WORST haircut I've ever received in my 71 years. It's appalling, horrendous and embarrassing. I have to walk into that wedding looking like someone who cut their own hair blindfolded and high. I don't know what she was thinking. This woman should not be cutting hair. Even though I was upset, I didn't say anything. I thought I could go home and fix with product. There is no fixing this mess. NEVER AGAIN GREAT CLIPS.

Once one of the stylists finished cutting hair she asked if I still wanted to wait for the person I scheduled with. It was still 35 minutes until my scheduled appointment, and she informed me the stylist was going to take lunch after she finished her haircut-- meaning it would be well over an hour before she was available to cut my hair. When I clarified this I mentioned they should've blocked out her lunch break so she wouldn't be shown as available during that time. Some guy that was sweeping started making smart remarks about having a nice day, etc. I did see two of the people that were mentioned by name or description in other poor Yelp reviews (i.e. purple hair). I've had haircuts at SportsClips in Colorado, Idaho, and California. Unfortunately what they advertise is sometimes far beyond the service actually rendered. And then sometimes, you luck out and find a SportsClips that lives up to the hype-- service, professionalism, courtesy, and a great haircut. Too bad the Tracy store is NOT one of those!

May 2026 update: I decided to choose this as my preferred barbershop for getting haircuts at Tracy,…read moreCA. However, my latest experience was quite strange. During my latest visit, I decided to explain my preferred hair style to the specialist/hairdresser, however, it seems like we had a language barrier. They also insisted that this is not something that they could do. My request was a specific haircut where I never had any issues explaining to any hairdresser. This time I tried to explain it to them by finding a picture of my desired haircut and asked them to simply try giving me a haircut similar to that and that it doesn't have to be the same. They still didn't understand, so I told them that it was a simple buzz cut. They then told me that this is far from something that they could do, in a rude manner. Then, the hairdresser quickly rushed through the haircut and was done in under 5 minutes. The haircut wasn't horrible, however, it definitely didn't look anything like a $29 haircut nor a buzz cut. It was a strange experience as someone who had visited this place multiple times and had gotten great haircuts and service. My latest experience was very subpar. I likely won't visit Supercuts again for my next cut. (original comment - posted a year ago (in 2025)): I had an amazing experience in this SUPERCUTS location as the people over there were super kind and passionate to us. I just moved here and was worrying about not being able to find a barbershop that has both reasonable prices and selections. But I was wrong. Overall, it's a great place.
