Yesterday I got a haircut for which I showed a picture of front and back of what I wanted, just not as short as in the pic. It was a picture of my last haircut 5 months ago. Simple hair cut and my hair is fairly short The whole time I questioned it be even and she said 3 different times oh yeah there it is, I found it now. She kept assuring me and none of it seemed right but I thought it just needs to dry. I got home and it was a mess. I have very fine thin senior hair and she layered my entire head and it's bad. Nothing like the picture I showed her. I will never go back there. It will take a very long time for my hair to grow back to normal. People need to listen to their customers. If I had known she layered the back of my head I would have walked out in disbelief and anger! read more

This place deserves 5 star for the maintainance. All hair dressers are very friendly and they will assist you from the moment we walk-in. They always remember my hair cut setting and they will use it every time we go for the hair cut. They always give you a discount coupon to use it for the next time. Retired and Relaxed... First time visiting Great Clips and, second time in 20 years that I DIDN'T cut my own hair. I guess my definition of retired equals getting lazy. Time IS Money... I checked the Yelp App to see what time Great Clips opened and saw it was 9 AM. I arrived at 8:55 AM and watched an employee open the doors promptly at 9. There were two customers waiting ahead of me when I walked in but, that didn't stop an employee from acknowledging I was there and taking down my information so I could be called in order. Head & Shoulders.... I waited about five minutes before being called for my cut. "High and Tight" is all I said and the young lady acknowledged me and only asked how much off the top. Zip, zip, zip. Then air from the blow dryer and I was done! Looking and feeling good in ten minutes. Now that's what I'm talking about. Hero's Welcomed... As I was paying, my stylist told me that first time customers are given a discount on their next visit (within a time frame). When I asked her what other types of discounts they offered, I was told "Military" are discounted $2 dollars off the cut price. I didn't asked if that included veterans but finding out is a phone call or visit away. Final Thoughts.... I had a great "first timer" experience and I really appreciate that Great Clips takes care of our service members. For that reason alone, I'll give them my business at least once a month. Came here for a hair trim today because my hair was cut unevenly (by someone else) and it needed to be fixed. The stylist was nice to talk to, trimmed my hair real quick. The problem here is, she didn't dry my hair so I couldn't tell if my hair was really fixed?! I understand hair styling after a hair cut costs extra but isn't hair dry part of the hair cut? I get back home, dry my hair and realize the hair was trimmed unevenly. It is better than it was before I went into the salon but it is not quite right yet! I stopped in today to get a haircut. 2:30 in the afternoon, 2 stylists doing nothing and nobody in the waiting area. I was told they were completely booked. I'm an old guy and someone there could have cut my hair before anyone could even walk from the parking lot to the store. All of the "walk in" haircut places book online appointments also, but I've never walked in to one that is "booked" that had 2 stylists standing around and turn away a walk in. The latest at Great Clips is that they have stylists now but they have increased their prices on a haircut. Inflation, inflation, inflation I'm sure is the mantra but that's something Great Clips needs to address with their local politicians not their customers. Prices should depend on what you are cutting. People with long hair should pay $20 but if someone is just buzzing the sides or getting a crew cut should they be paying $20 for 5-10 minutes of work? I don't think so. We are shopping for a new place. read more

Know who you're going to. Thank GOD for Nicole, Melissa, and Francesca. They stepped in when Rhyan Alexander was nearly about to give me a bowl cut when I asked for simple layers!! This stylist was very shaky, unconfident, and it felt like she wanted me to guide/reassure her on her cutting decisions. She left the bluntly chopped hair in the front of my face as she excused herself for a moment-- in the beginning of a haircut. So I sat there with my hair in my face as she went to search for another comb?? No comb could help the cut she was doing. She was shaking, seemed all over the place and didn't even bother to introduce herself. It was a very uncomfortable experience. God bless the stylists that stepped in to save me. Nicole made me feel more comfortable in 5 seconds than in the 10 minutes I spent with Rhyan, which says a lot. Rhyan's cosmo license ends this April. I was just confused as to how she could've gotten this license and the ok to practice on clients. She suggested doing a blowout to show me the layers she was cutting??? But she didn't even cut them correctly. SO confusing. I'm not a hairstylist but I know damn well that you don't cut layers bluntly and on the same angle. Basic Conversational skills and HAIRCUT skills are much needed. Again, ask for a stylist who you can trust in. read more

Last several times I've asked they cut my sideburns at a particular length...they never get it right. This last time was the worst...missed by a quarter inch to short. Almost have no sideburns at all. The last time I brought my grandson for his first commercial haircut...literally butchered his hair and he held still, so they can't claim he was moving around. read more

I don't know why my husband keeps coming here for a haircut because every time he does, he comes home upset because his hair looks terrible. I'm not sure who cut his hair this last time, but it is AWFUL! It was completely uneven and did not blend at all! I've been going to Great Clips by Savemart for over 12 years now and I go to see Sherrie for my hair cuts. All I have to say is I am constantly blown away by her every single time! And the atmosphere in the salon can't be beat, it just feels like such a well oiled machine. Everyone is so friendly and they seem to really care about each and every one of their clients. If you think a pic is worth a thousand words. YOU'RE WRONG in this place. These hags are given a 30 minute window per haircut. I pretty much timed the whole encounter. Mind you it was in the morning that I went in. Picture at hand I explicitly showed her how it needs to be done. She did all the "talk" with what guard to use how high.. what fade..etc etc. Sounded like she Knew what she was going to do.. key word folks. SOUNDED. So i let her do her do what she needs to be done.. IN THE END. Nothing even remotely close to the pic. LOOKS like the same ol' copy and paste haircut that everyone gets. Think about it people if a crystal clear color photo on your phone doesn't "cut" it so to speak then it's just PURE IGNORANCE AND LAZINESS that comes out of that shop. We usually use this great clips and once again, they didn't disappoint. They are taking amazing steps to be safe and follow guidelines. The staff is busy but happy to be back. Wait times are a bit longer but the updated sign in process makes getting on the list and arriving on time very easy. Sign in online, it solves so many problems and makes getting a haircut in these times so much easier! We attempted a different Great Clips the day before and had a horrible, horrible experience with one particular stylist that had us leaving without a haircut. This store went above and beyond to solve a problem that wasn't even theirs to begin with. They did this unasked and that gesture meant so much to me and my daughter. They have my business for life! My son an I have been coming here for 11 years. The customer service is second to none, and we always leave satisfied. We never ask for a specific cutter, no need to. Cutters come and go, and there's no exception here. But the great clips system works. We always check in, never wait more than 5-10 minutes and always leave happy, and always leave a $5 tip per head. So we did the whole check in thing which they always ask when you walk in "did you check in online?" So this time we did it. But you can only check in one person and there was 3 of us total so I called after checking in and the lady said that she would add the other 2 to our name. When we get there they said that they could only take one person and the other 2 would have to wait over an hour! That was not what they said on the phone and we did not have time to wait so long story short SUPERCUTS is 5 mins away and WAY BETTER service overall!
