This was a nice and lucky find! I am not sure I even knew that this shop was around, but the bookclub to which I belong chose this as the place for our November get together. They have a decent selection of whites and reds, but I was a little disappointed that they had only one sweeter wine, a single moscato. I wouldn't have minded seeing at least a nice port on the menu, especially given they had a display case full of chocolates and truffles. Maybe their menu rotates though and I'll get lucky with a few sweet wines sometime. The place is really nice, very clean and most importantly, comfy. There's a bar area for folks to hang out as well as several high-tops, and my favorite spot was a cozy little nook with some nice armchairs that were perfect for me to finish a bit of reading. They have a free little library here and also a game shelf to get the conversation going. They have a wine membership--I'm not sure exactly what it's called or what it entails, but I do know that there's a discount on wine purchased here if you're a member. Also important to know is that, if I understood correctly, there's a $10 corkage fee if you purchase a bottle and open it on site. That seemed steep but I wasn't planning to buy a bottle anyway. The food is actually quite good. I think everyone was pretty pleased with the small bites we ordered; I got the meatballs and Caitlin's spicy sausage dip. I'm never sure if I'll actually like meatballs so I wasn't sure what to expect but these were excellent. And the spicy sausage dip was amazing. I haven't ever had something like it and now I'm going to have to find a recipe in case I have some reason to bring something a little atypical to a party. My friend mentioned that they had some sort of dip contest a while back, and after checking out their instagram it looks like this may have been one of the winners. Well deserved! Unless I missed something, parking is mostly on the street. There's a small parking lot that's shared with the car wash. Super cute wine bar! Great decor and wonderful staff. Wine section is organized by flavor instead of region so it's an interesting shopping experience. Got to do a wine tasting with friends here from a voucher/coupon someone had, wine was delicious. We tried: * Pierre delize sparkling, France * Little sheep sauvignon blanc, New Zealand * Lago vihno verde rose, Portugal * Tavernello sangiovese, Italy * Hayes ranch cabernet sauvignon, CA My favorite was probably the sangiovese, I usually don't like white wines but the sauvignon blanc we tried was nice. The ambiance is extremely comfortable with plenty of seating arrangement and good ambient lighting. Well managed, with attention to every customer. The plethora of event and wine options would satisfy most level sommeliers. Perhaps, the best thing about this curated wine shop. Is Emliy ability to listen to, help assist and recommended good quality appropriate wines for customers and gifts. Came here for the first time today, and it was such a great experience and I will definitely be back! I'm a teacher and my colleagues and I met here for an end-of-the-year get together and even with more than 20 of us, the women working were so nice and accommodating. My two coworkers and I got here later than the rest of our group (like an hour later) so everyone was on their last wine as we walked in. The woman was so sweet and told us that we better catch up haha! She would find us three when we finished our current wine tasting to pour us the next one, which was so sweet because we were each in the middle of conversations, so it was nice she was watching us that much to know. Seriously, such great customer service! Our school got a discount because we had such a large group and planned it ahead of time, bit honestly, tasting is normally only $10 here so I would definitely be back for it. Each bottle is also between like $10 and $13 so that's cheap, as well! AND they have a wine club membership. Overall, the decor is modern and cute, the wine is delicious without breaking the bank, the service is extraordinary, and it is so clean and new inside! read more

This is a MUST visit and do not let the location next to a car wash deter you! The space is part store/part tasting room. There is a small bar to sit down and have a beer or glass of wine. The food is very good (don't skip the cheese plate or the blue cheese pizza). But the best part about the store is that it makes wine totally accessible. Owner Emily and staff are very good at helping narrow down choices based on things you might like. She has wine in a variety of price points, including a 6 for 60 deal. It's a great way to try out new things without having to invest a huge amount. Its my go to place to buy wine! This is a great little local wine shop. The owner is very helpful and nice and happily helps with recommendations and information on the wines they offer. The store is not large but does offer a wide variety of wine at many price points. The pricing is a little on the high side selling wines above what you can get at larger stores but such is life with the smaller guys. The wine selection is updated regularly so you can usually find some new things to try. I always try to stop in and get me some wine when I am in the area. My husband and I came here for the first time on a Friday for a wine tasting with another couple who belong to the Wine Club. The woman hosting the tasting was pleasant and knowledgeable. There was another woman hosting beers (let's call her Beer Lady) and I'm not sure if she was part of the management or not. But apparently she was annoyed we stayed past their 7pm closing time, because around 7:10 or so Beer Lady came up to us, took our glasses and snapped "Will you be leaving by the back door or front?" and rushed us out. Stopped by Wine Styles with a friend and had a great time! I was a bit apprehensive thinking it was more of a cash and carry type of place but I was wrong. We were greeted and our host gave us options on glasses, bottles, and tastings. We landed on a tasting and couldn't have been happier we got to taste 6 different wines from all over the world. You can even get an awesome cheese plate and chill out at the two tables they have in the store. We struck up a great conversation about travel and before we knew it we made friends with other wine drinkers. If you are around Norwood park and looking for a drink, you won't be disappointed. Numerous wines by the glass or buy a bottle and they will uncork it and you can drink it. A handful of beers on tap and a whole beer section and a cooler with old beers you can drink in the store too. I've been a Beer Club member for 6 months now and have been very happy with the selections and even found a new favorite beer, North Coast PranQster. We had a work bridal shower here and the experience was great. The staff was easy to work with, accommodating and easy going. The ambience is lovely- adorable and quaint and the wine was delicious. They have a lot of unique options. There is also free parking out back. We purchased their cheese plates which were quite tasty and they allowed us to bring in other snacks and desserts! I used to live in California and would go to wine tastings and purchase wine weekly. The sign on there door said the store hours. It was after the hours stated on the door. It looked like they were open so I opened the door and politely asked if they were open. There response was so snotty. Yes! Like I was some idiot asking if they were open. I let them know the sign on there door indicated they would be closed. RUDE!!!! SNOBBY!!! I am from PR and people like that make me ashamed of being from here.
