This was a nice and lucky find! I am not sure I even knew that this shop was around, but the bookclub to which I belong chose this as the place for our November get together. They have a decent selection of whites and reds, but I was a little disappointed that they had only one sweeter wine, a single moscato. I wouldn't have minded seeing at least a nice port on the menu, especially given they had a display case full of chocolates and truffles. Maybe their menu rotates though and I'll get lucky with a few sweet wines sometime. The place is really nice, very clean and most importantly, comfy. There's a bar area for folks to hang out as well as several high-tops, and my favorite spot was a cozy little nook with some nice armchairs that were perfect for me to finish a bit of reading. They have a free little library here and also a game shelf to get the conversation going. They have a wine membership--I'm not sure exactly what it's called or what it entails, but I do know that there's a discount on wine purchased here if you're a member. Also important to know is that, if I understood correctly, there's a $10 corkage fee if you purchase a bottle and open it on site. That seemed steep but I wasn't planning to buy a bottle anyway. The food is actually quite good. I think everyone was pretty pleased with the small bites we ordered; I got the meatballs and Caitlin's spicy sausage dip. I'm never sure if I'll actually like meatballs so I wasn't sure what to expect but these were excellent. And the spicy sausage dip was amazing. I haven't ever had something like it and now I'm going to have to find a recipe in case I have some reason to bring something a little atypical to a party. My friend mentioned that they had some sort of dip contest a while back, and after checking out their instagram it looks like this may have been one of the winners. Well deserved! Unless I missed something, parking is mostly on the street. There's a small parking lot that's shared with the car wash. Luckily, this is Norwood Park, and the street parking isn't too difficult.

Super cute wine bar! Great decor and wonderful staff. Wine section is organized by flavor instead of region so it's an interesting shopping experience. Got to do a wine tasting with friends here from a voucher/coupon someone had, wine was delicious. We tried: * Pierre delize sparkling, France * Little sheep sauvignon blanc, New Zealand * Lago vihno verde rose, Portugal * Tavernello sangiovese, Italy * Hayes ranch cabernet sauvignon, CA My favorite was probably the sangiovese, I usually don't like white wines but the sauvignon blanc we tried was nice. We also got a cheese board and some pizzas to go along with it which was really yummy. I would definitely come back!

We celebrated my bestie's 45th birthday on 4/5 and I honestly couldn't have imagined a more perfect night! From start to finish, everything just worked. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the wine... well, the wine was outstanding. Emily, the owner, curated a wine list that not only matched the vibe of the evening but also felt incredibly personal, like she somehow knew exactly what we'd love before we even tasted it. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and paired perfectly with the wine list! Emily was also gracious in letting me decorate the space to make it feel even more personal. Her attention to detail, calm presence, and behind-the-scenes magic ensured everything ran smoothly so we could simply enjoy the moment. The space itself felt like the perfect mix of elegant and cozy and it set the tone for a night full of laughter, great conversation, and connection. It was everything we could have hoped for and more. Huge thanks to Emily and her fantastic team for making this 45th feel like something really worth celebrating!

Love, love love that WineStyles opened up so close to me. The staff is uber friendly, willing to chit chat, educate you if wanted and just be at your beckon call. I'm really looking forward to heading here more often. Yay!

Emily, the owner, is awesome. The wine is great, maybe could pour heavier, but tasty. Bingo night on Tuesday is really fun.

The ambiance is really nice without feeling too "stuffy". Bar was gorgeous and service was friendly and helpful, allowing my boyfriend to sample some wines before going in on some bottles. Prices were what you'd expect for a trendy natural wine bar. The complimentary corn nuts in the antique dish were a cute touch. The charcuterie board with mixed meat and cheese was really small though. Only three pieces of cheese for five people... it made it feel like an awkward fight over who'd get to try some. The gluten free crackers were appreciated though. We ended up ordering more food including the "party tray" which I would describe more as charcuterie nachos. We didn't really know what to expect with this one so we got the canned mussels but it really would've tasted better with the prosciutto instead. It included a whipped cheese, olives, and cornichons piled onto potato chips. Less of a tray and more of a nacho-style dish. If we return next time we're in town, I'd skip the food and focus more on the wine. Beyond that, it was a fun time!

Reviews were good so we came in on a Monday evening. The interior is so cute! Velvety comfy green chairs at the wine bar, smaller lounge tables and couches in the rest of the place. There is a separate room for gaming. We sat at the bar and were warmly greeted by Aria L. She was so courteous and helpful, offering us suggestions on the wines and snacks. They have a great happy hour from 4-7p for $20 wine bottle which is fantastic. The house white was good, although they ran out after a glass and I went for the Simi sauvignon blanc which was so good. The parmesan truffle fries are a MUST. Just $8.99 for a nice sized bowl of crisp, tasty fries with fresh parmesan shaved on top. MM! I had the 12" cheese lovers pizza which had burrata cheese on top oh my GOSH that is gooooood. It's rich so I had plenty of leftovers for the next day. My friend got the 12" Diavola pizza which she loved. My other friend got the Italian panini ($13.99) which he said he was not that crazy about, but he did enjoy the atmosphere and the Guiness. It is a chill place to have a nice conversation without having to compete with loud music or chatter. We are planning to revisit the next time I am here, this was a very enjoyable evening.

The service was surprisingly reasonable despite the amount of patrons inside, friendly and the waitress stopped by periodically to check on us. Menu is not as adventurous as I've seen at some French restaurants, a bit different from still mostly familiar -- which can be good to appeal to a wider set of diners. I tried several different items including the Touche Toast, Cinnamon Apple Pancakes, and Gaufres Au Poulet Frite. I found in each of these, the textures were alright and the flavors were not too different from what I would expect from other brunch restaurants. Portion sizes were alright, as the meal wasn't overly expensive. If I had ordered items with more French influence, this may have been a better gauge of the food here. With that said, the uniqueness of the offerings here make me interested in a return visit. Overall, neat spot if you're looking for French style cuisine at reasonable prices.
