Foremost is true to name. It has a HUGE selection of wines and spirits from around the world. They have everything under the sky from Two Buck Chuck to $300+ bottles of bubbly. They also carry a wide range of beer. There's something for everyone! I'm a huge fan of the Eastern European wines. They have 'em! Greek, Bosnian, Montenegrin, Romanian, Russian. Everything is priced to sell. You'd be hard-pressed to find anything over $14 in that section. I highly recommend the Bulgarian Bear's Blood. Not sure what to get or on a budget? Take a gamble! I suggest checking out the "Adult Ball Pit of Beverages" as Maria F. and I have dubbed it. It's their giant clearance bin of wines found at the end of the farthest aisle. Foremost has an exceptional selection of beer, liquor and wine. The staff there is almost friendly and helpful to a fault, and their prices are absolutely reasonable. They are willing to order something that they don't have, and will often make recommendations on what might go well with a liquor, etc. I can't stress how excellent their selection of foreign liquors is, and only with they carried a slightly wider selection of imported beer. I have done many liquor tastings at this store. The store manager as well as the employees are knowledgeable and friendly. I like the fact that I am in these places for extended periods of time, so I can get a real idea of what the staff is like. This is a small store, but I like it lots. This liquor store used to be RIGHT on my way home from work. Dangerous combo. They have a pretty good selection. I have to admit, I mostly buy (craft) beer, but they have Goose Island, Half Acre, Two Brothers, Lagunitas, Flying Dog, New Belgium, and more. Smaller amount in the cold case, but still a decent selection. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. Good liquor and wine selection too. The only downside is that their parking lot is a PITA. For the longest time I only bought beer at Binny's. Then my friend steered my towards neighborhood liquor stores. This one is the first one she told me about and I was hooked. While you won't have the Binny's selection, you'd be surprised what you can find here. The prices aren't too bad either, although watch out because some weeks it is worth buying your beer someplace else. On the bright side, the staff will leave you alone unless you ask for help. Sometimes it takes time picking the next selection for beer night and although advice and opinions are nice, I like contemplating in silence. Pros: Decent selection and prices. Cons: The parking lot can be hell trying to get in/out of. To sum it up: One of these days I will try the pizza place attached to it. read more

I used to run the few blocks from home to buy lottery tickets for my parents when i was 8. The owners were cashiers back then they always laughed when i'd barely be able to look over the counter and ask for a quick pick. Now, those same guys along with a great staff sell me my liqour. Now this place was phenomenal as a liquor store. you walking to get greeted friendly by both the cashier in the person sitting up front that the manager. They are a huge selection of a lot of different things the bar paraphernalia and drinks from juices I just heard because I have a lot of good stuff in there for a liquor store and after talking with the manager for about 30 minutes it was a great feeling like going ask her what I needed I need to get something and I'll just pick whatever. They're also pretty stringent on verifying age... while I was there there appeared to be an underage person trying to buy some drinks where the manager quickly, efficiently and very professional shut that out of the sky. This liquor store makes up in content for what it lacks in looks. A nice variety of wines, liquors and beers. Many beers sold individually which is great if you want to try a variety of microbrews. A wide selection of Eastern European beers and liquors (esp. Polish). Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Russophiles: they have Baltika! Albeit, Baltika No. 7, the export brew, but still -- Baltika! Apparently it's not my day. I asked for a specific bottle of bourbon and they had it. The only problem they couldn't find the price of the bourbon. I was set to buy it once I knew the price. They I guess called the owner to find out the price. Now it wasn't for sale because it was for the owner. In reality when I heard he's not gonna like it. That meant it was for someone else. Don't shop here they over charge their customers. Prime example is they have a bottle of special reserve weller for $45 retail it's about $24. They are ripping you off. Another example is yamazaki which retails for $80. They are over charging you $30. They are trying to charge you secondary market prices. Stay away from these scum bags. read more

I just walked out with 2 cases of Miller Lite. When I took them up to the counter I noticed that the cashier didn't ring me up right away so I looked to se what the problem was. I noticed that one case had a price tag of $15.99 while the other one had a price tag of $14.99. So I told the lady, oh there are 2 different prices on them to which she remarked "yea but they're $15.99". I then said pointed out the fact that it wasn't my fault they were labeled as such and that by right I should be charged the price that's labeled on the item. The girl just looked at me and rang me up $15.99 for both. It's just a dollar but it's the principle of the matte. This place clearly doesn't care about their customers and whether they will be back or not. Grimey business practices will def keep me from coming back again! read more

Foremost Liquor Center is a great liquor store! They have a wonderful selection of imported and domestic wines and beers. They also have lots of wines on sale every day. The two men who manage the store are both very nice and one is quick to suggest the perfect wine to purchase - whether it's for yourself, to be given as a gift, to be compliment a meal or as part of a recipe. Their prices are very affordable and, I have found, less than other liquor stores and grocery stores in the area. In addition, while limited, they offer free parking. Cheers! read more
