Worst customer service. I live in the neighborhood and walked to the store. I paid and then asked if I could have a bag because it would be easier to carry while walking. The owner said, 30 cents for a bag. I said, no thanks I'll manage. It's not about the money but.... Am I supposed to put a 30 cent charge on my card after I've already checked out? Instead of making a positive impression and maybe gaining a new regular customer, he lost my business forever for trying to make a few pennies on a bag that cost him next to nothing. With all the hate in the world, you'd think he'd be trying to make more friends instead of enemies. Take a lesson from Stew. Customer service is job 1. I won't return. read more

Since this place reopened there has been a much better selection available, this is why I gave 2 stars. However, they price gauge everything. They just charged my husband almost 40 dollars for a 12 pack of Fat Tire and a 6 pack of sour monkey. They charged the 12 pack as 2 6 packs. Needless to say we will not be coming back and walked out with nothing. Also, they had no idea what a sour was when I asked, I found it myself. Shame on you for doing this when people are having trouble making ends meat right now! read more

As Anne said... never a truer word spoken. I have been coming here since the mid 90s. I've found some pretty obscure wines here. I moved out of town in 2000 but I make it a point to stop in whenever in town, that's saying something! Wine... if you want it, its here... if not, the staff can recommend a work around. read more

Never had an issue when I went in the store before but Christmas Eve I wanted to look for wine and was followed by a young man that works there. First time he asked me if I needed help and he helped me. I started to look at the other wines and not even two mins later the same man came back asking am I ready to check out. I had to ask if it was okay if I continued look so he would leave me alone. I felt so uncomfortable I grab what was in my hand paid and left. Wouldn't go back again ! read more

Wines Unlimited has a huge selection of wines at great prices and a very knowledgeable, friendly staff. They will take the time to find whatever you need and will work within your budget. They also do tastings on Saturdays. read more

ALWAYS low on beer inventory. ALWAYS charged more than what price sticker says and then told we are in the process of redoing our price labels-"Sorry about that". Yet -NEVER offered the price the sticker says the item is selling for. Staff not rude-they are apathetic-ALWAYS!!! The only thing this place has going for it is the parking lot-pretty easy to get in and out of. I live in the middle of Stratford so going to Broadbridge Ave or south Main St. is about equal distance. I'm done with this store-I've given them the benefit of the doubt on several occasions. I'll stick to Last Call or South Main St. package store. Prices are lower and good customer service. read more

Being its in my neighborhood, this has been our go to package store for years. Over the past year, nearly every bottle of wine we purchased has been of poor quality. It smelled funky upon uncorking & tasted terrible. The corks were moldy & bone dry. Don't think they are storing the wine properly. All the bottles are standing upright on shelf vs laying on their side. We did share our experience but wasn't resolved. So not returning. read more

So disappointed in this place!! I have been a nearby resident for 2.5 years and go here religiously. However since the new year this place has been declining rapidly(maybe new management?) ...horrible selection of beer and the wines are all bad, literally. They must not store the bottles correctly because the last 5 bottles of all different types of red wines I have purchased have tasted like they have been boiled. These are all bottles I have had in the past so I know what they should taste like. Don't waste your money here! read more

I find it over rated. It is too hot in that place in the summer and then it is freezing in there in winter. I've smelled something musty when I walked in alot of times in the summer. And now during this last rain, the ceiling was litterally pouring and people were walking through water. They has one enter/exit door locked where the water was really bad ( a pond) The roof is obviously rotted and I bet theres mold. The owners of this business actually own the building and I think they make enough in one day that they can replace the roof! read more
