They were extremely smart and ahead of the game by posting about their call-ahead and pick-up policies. You can place your order over the phone and have them bring it out to out your car. They've made excellent wine recommendations to me over the phone and have been very patient with my inquiries. The outside appearance of the store is a step-above other liquor stores in the area. It was one of the 2019 Black Slate wines. I got an email acknowledgment that said that it was not a confirmation. This is usually the point where they say they don't have the wine. Then they confirmed the order and shipped the wine.. The shipment said 2019 Black Slate. I got a case of 2021 Black Slate. They did a two year vintage substitution with no notice. If the wine was decent, I might not care so much, but I've tried two bottles and they were both off - there is a musty smell, and the wine is undrinkable. I wrote to them 3 days ago complaining about the situation. So far, no response.
