    Having fun

Cute wine shop selling bottles of their own label wines from their local vineyards. Wines by the glass are sold outside from a hillside tent and are best enjoyed sitting in an Adirondack chair on the banks of the stream flowing behind. The setting is relaxing and pleasant especially when knocking off a bottle of Chardonnay -- creates a nice rosy glow to the whole experience.

Date of visit: February 22, 2024 My daughter and I took a break from Nashville to the countryside. We found this winery in the cutest town. What a gem this place is! It is adorable. There are olive oil and vinegar tastings! Yum! Then we had the best tasting experience and great wines. We had such a marvelous time mainly because of the server: Michelle. We had so much fun with her and felt like we were friends. If ever we are back in that area, we will go to Wines in the Fork!

Such a cute little wine tasting experience! We tasted 4 wines at the bar - it was just us so it felt very personal and they were very attentive. After, we got a glass of wine to take and enjoy by the creek!

This place is so cute! We went for the songwriter night which was great. It would of been nice if they had a sound system it was hard to hear in the back. Staff is very friendly. They have bug spray available for being outside. Street parking only. Prices very reasonable for a wine tasting room. Only complaint is this has such a cute vibe but the bathroom is a porta potty, which is away from the sitting area in the dark for the night event. There is no reason a bathroom inside should not be available. I've gone to plenty of tasting rooms all which have bathrooms not porta potties.

I would definitely go back.. the wine, service and ambience were amazing! They have this creek and you're able to just hangout and drink in the creek.

Really fun! We did a tasting and the man helping us was very knowledgeable. The weather was cold/rainy so we were not able to go outside however it looked to be perfect for better weather. Really fun date day and the wine was delightful.

Amazing wine, great scenery and beautiful friends!

Sun through the trees, gentle breeze in the air, feet soaking in the creek while sipping TN's finest local wine? This is the magic of Wines in the Fork. Of all the things we did in Franklin, the Creek Tasting experience was our favorite for sure. Thank you for creating the most memorable & magical afternoon! Special thanks to Katie, for her warmth & attention to every detail - the flowers, the music, the delicious charcuterie - all beautifully arranged on a quaint table set IN a creek along destination treasure, Leipers Fork. It was a special treat to have our most lovely wine tasting experience conducted by the owner, James, himself. No doubt this Veteran's passion for wine is reflected in every bottle. We simply didn't want it to end. Well done, Wines in the Fork, well done.

Our day was beautiful and to top it all off we had some great wine! We did the wine tasting for $20 and you got to keep the glass. We then upgraded the tasting and got the red wine that came with chocolates. We then bought a bottle to enjoy by the creek and listen to music. I would highly recommend going if you are thinking about making the drive there. The area is super cute and has a lot of landscaping. Would love to go back and do the dinner series!

My group of 10 did a private wine and chocolate tasting with Michelle for a bachelorette party. The pairings were divine and unique, and Michelle's expertise and warmth made our experience the most memorable, classy, cozy bachelorette outing. After our pairing, we sat out back with a few bottles for live music. We can't wait to visit again!

We started with a wine flight and took their recommendations on a variety of varietals. The Vin Lamar a Sparkling Chardonnay was my favorite. We paired this with a charcuterie board complete with bread, Prosciutto, Gouda and Brie cheese, grapes, strawberries and honey. Near by was some great live music inside (mostly country). The tasting room also provides to go drinks for guests to walk around the rest of the farmers market. As well as a wine slushy option. Lots of parking on all sides of the building although it does get busy on the weekends.

We'd never had Natchez Hills wine before so we started with two flights. Mine had three whites and a red, and my boyfriend's had two whites, a red, and a rose. We also ordered a large charcuterie board, and it was absolutely delicious - there was a hard and soft cheese, different meats, fruit, and bread. I also tried a red wine slushie and really enjoyed it. The selling point for us was that it was such a positive environment. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. The winery is next to live music, which added a really fun element. We've visited other wineries in the Nashville area and found the pricing here to be super reasonable. The Farmer's Market parking lot can get full depending on the time of day, but there's additional parking as you go toward the Sounds Stadium.

The mansion tour was very interesting and our tour guide was fantastic. I forget her name, but shes a college student and she did a great job! One note: there are several sets of stairs on the tour and no elevators since it is an old building, so skip the mansion tour if unable to do stairs. You can't take pictures inside but it's worth viewing. The grounds and carriage house are worth exploring too. The wine tasting provided at the end of the tour was rushed and underwhelming. It was a quick splash of painfully sweet wine in a gift shop. I wouldn't rush back for the wine.

This focused on the history of enslavement thru emancipation. It lasted 1 hr 30 minutes. Plenty of walking , and climbing stairs ( fyi ). Complimentary wine tasting of four wines . Walking the grounds is great exercise for some but can be challenging for others with disabilities or leg problems. Winery, cafe, and a restaurant is on grounds as well for dining options. Gift shop has plenty of variety from bags , mugs, ornaments, seasonings, home decor items etc. prices vary. I purchase this tour on a site called Get your guide. The tour focused on glorifying the slave owners' "heritage" while minimizing the enslaved people who actually built the wealth and success of this place. That kind of selective storytelling is disrespectful. The wine tasted awful once I realized the truth was being watered down. Seeing people arrive for a wedding on the grounds as we were leaving? Disgusting. Celebrating on land rooted in exploitation, without fully honoring that history, is not romantic. It's erasure. I don't do rewritten history. Fun, unique experience for horse lovers…read more Overall great, but this is a review so I'll start with the good, then get to the "could be better." 1) It's beautifully set up. The barn is clean, pretty, and has special spots for pictures and retail. Music is going and the videos are being played on the tv above the tasting station. 2) locally & woman owned business! Nuff said. 3) greeted by an 8 week old puppy during our visit, which was very fun, more entertaining than the horses IMO. 4) The owner takes the time to learn about what she's giving you to taste and drink, which is nice! 5) Great picture taking opportunities! 6) we had to reschedule because of a family emergency of one of the party members, and the owner was incredibly easy to work with to make sure we could still attend without losing any money or the experience. Customer service was great. Could make a better experience: Price - $60 seemed fair for something unique but then you add on the fees/taxes and it's $74.25 per person, not sure where that additional ~$15 goes but I'd be much more inclined to return if there's a way to pay without the additional fees. (Also, website descriptions say $55 then the price is $60 - fix to match increase.) We definitely thought there would be more to do with the horses. Even if customers can't do something, maybe show off any tricks or special things the horses to make it more about the Equine than the Wine! Overall, if you love horses and are looking for something different to do in Nashville, this is it!
